Pat, Mr. Akiolu could tell you all that gibberish in your private discussions, but not when he invited a group of Igbo leaders and furiously threatened them as the video depicted. It was an expensive joke to the extent that he must apologise for it, biko!

God works in miraclous ways and I believe he's directed Alex Otti to go save Ndiabia.

Order than that i can't explain why a man making millions of Naira as Diamond Bank CEO would resign his job and dive into the murky waters of a gubernatorial contest in Nigeria. I believe a saviour has finally emerged to revive the industrial city of Aba, and who would realise the Obuaku seaport for Ndigbo.

EVEN AFTER LOOSING THE WAR, THEY STILL THINK THEY CARRY WEIGHT IN NIGERIA, THEY WILL FOREVER BE KNOWN AS LOOSERS
If they don't "carry weight", could you please explain why Buhari tried to court the Igbo (as VPs) twice in his bid to grab the presidency....Just for learning sake?

It's quite painful, and i don't see it being retrieved anytime in this generation especially with the kind of politics the yoruba is playing.
Conquest can only be countered with a similar action.
PoliticsRe: Ijaw Message To Buhari: ‘Rule With The Fear Of God’ - Vanguard by Deltagiant:
In a country with different ethnic nations, GEJ's story could be best described as a sad one

He will long be remembered by the Ijaw same way the Igbo remembers Ogbuefi Nnamdi Azikiwe

It beats my imagination why all the former Nigerian Heads of state from the old Eastern Region cared more about other regions than theirs

Again, here was a Nigeria president of eastern Ijaw extraction who spent 6 years and still left Ijaw land in the 17th century wild west it's been

Ijaw land had the opportunity and the physical potentials to be the Netherlands of Africa but Jonathan has blown it

Like some other ethnic nations, Ijaw has a bleak future in this wicked treacherous prison called Nigeria

The only option left for the young Ijaw generation is to take their destiny in their hands, look for like minded allies and press for their emancipation
PoliticsRe: Buhari’s Victory: Jostling For Positions Begin by Deltagiant:

I thought you guys voted GEJ so that he could handover to the SE.
Is that plan no longer feasible?
Don't worry, you will have a taste of the pull-him-down-sydrome.
Ndigbo will DELIBERATELY take the VP slot even in 2023 just to teach you guys a lesson, STOP OSIBANJO FROM BECOMING PRESIDENT.
You can enjoy your treachery now all you want, but know you it will just end at this level.
Hausa Fulani will rule (not even preside) until everyone in the south is well tutored in unity.

Just watch and see.

PoliticsRe: Buhari’s Victory: Jostling For Positions Begin by Deltagiant:
BY 2023 or even before then if Buhari is incapacitated, Yemi Osibanjo will stand as the presidential flag bearer of APC following the right of succession. Will the Yoruba votes be enough to give him victory?

This will be interesting because he will definitely be facing an Hausa-Fulani opponent from Kano or Sokoto. (Ndigbo will certainly prepare such grounds). With an Igbo VP backed sentimentally by the majority in the south.

In that situation, will the Almajiris bypass a young Hausa Fulani from Kano or Sokoto to vote for a pastor?

The game is just begininng
PoliticsRe: Why We Gave Jonathan Nearly 1 Million Votes — Akpabio by Deltagiant:
I trust Ibibio/Annang/Efik people. Treachery and betrayal are not in their DNA.
Ndigbo are very Lucky to have them as contiguos neighbors. Shared history and DNA at Arochukwu.

They'll always stand with you till the end; Biafran war and MAJOR GENERAL OBONG PHILLIP EFFIONG are good testimonies.
I love them to pieces!
PoliticsRe: Ijaw Youths To Meet On Outcome Of Presidential Poll by Deltagiant:
Well, Nigeria it's a dog eat dog federation. And has been so for the better part of the last 55 years. It's also more painful the older generation of Ijaws knew this fact, but chose to embrace immediate selfish gains over strategic planning for the future generations.

Fast forward: It's only pres. Jona knows why he waited months to the election to convene a CONFAB that would have addressed these concerns. And which is now confined to the dust bin of history. Now, It's gonna be a long and winding road to self determination. That said, the young Ijaws should keep the faith as they are not alone in the struggle.
PoliticsRe: Asari Dokubo Told To Leave Ndigbo Alone In His Propaganda by Deltagiant:
Who is this village charlatan, UDEOGU?

To infer that WE Ndigbo are "EXTREMELY" happy with the result is incomprehensible and even more insulting!

Yes, we accept the result but to say we are extremely happy that the candidate we voted for lost was an act of stup.idity and cowardice on the part of Mr. Udeogu who is certainly speaking for himself. He should equally leave Asari alone. Asari hasn't said what we've not heard from the North before.

Nonsense! Anuofia. Ifere megbu kwagi ebea!

NOT SO SOON!!!!

Of course a lease hold must have term limit, but there are clauses in a document that makes a lease practically a perpetual (forever) lease.
Some leases have the "surrender" clause and some DON'T HAVE, though with reversionary interest accruing to the original land owners at the end of the expiration BUT without prejudice to the lesses exclusive control of ownership of the structure on the land. This means that at the end of the lease tenure, not only that it must be renewed, it has a clause that puts the property in lessee's perpetuity. Most lagos leases have no "surrender" clauses.

Again all the leases were not executed in one period of time which means for the next 500 years or more these "tenants" you despised will continue to be land owners wielding political clout. I hope "mayoroflagos" is reading. There will be Igbo law makers representing lagos for many centuries to come and with more new lands being bought every nanosecond in Lagos state even as am writing.

The surprise is that you all collectively agreed to be tenants for 99years. After that you renew your tenancy cheesy

@Op, Igbo voters are not fools for having stood for what they believe was right. They knew Jonathan could win or lose. The support given to him since 2011 was deliberate of which many may not understand the reasons. Win or lose, another historical message has been sent and the people of old Eastern region got it this time, very loud and clear. 1967 is way behind us.

MayorofLagos:
Hahahahaha ..... grin grin
tgis mugu said "many"!

Anyway, isnt that an act of betrayal? Ohaneze told Ibos to step down for Jonathan and instructed that any Ibo who did not vote Jonathan is a bastard. Jonathan believed all Ibos are strongly behind him and thats why he acted with so much impunity and confidence as election approached. So if you all made him believe you were behind him and then on last day abandoned him to his fate thats a grand act of betrayal.

I thought Ibos are not betrayers!
I have carefully followed your posts for a while. If your conscience so worries you about your famous history of betrayal in Nigeria, why keep doing the same thing over? Ohaneze or Radio Biafra, Igbo voters deliberately decided to swim or drown with GEJ since 2011. The incoming results will validate this position. Buhari in power or not, will not change the solid gains of the Igbo nation in commerce, economics, education, resourcefulness and their zeal to have the largest aggregate of the real estate in major cities of Nigeria. Land acquisition in these cities will continue in earnest.

The ethnic group that is genetically wired to betray is validated with each political event in Nigeria. What the new generations read as history continues to unfold in their eyes day by day.

How are they central to my survival?

Whatever is gotten from Niger Delta or any other part of Nigeria is a common wealth of the nation. Yes, I say it and you can quote me anywhere.

Before oil, Nigeria depended on some other people's God-given natural resources to survive. So, to hell with their claim.
You can grudge and massage your wounded ego all you want. The fact is that any month Niger Delta don't pay your state, fridges and kitchen shelves will cry, nation wide for that matter. Is that not a shame?

Thus, what's wrong in going back to regional autonomy that saw Awo grow the west's economy with cocoa, Michael Okpara with coal and palm oil and Bello with groundnut.

How long will u guys continue this "feeding bottle" chest beating? It's a time bomb!

They can go to hell but not with the oil, that is our joint heritage.

Yorubaman.
Can you listen to yourself for a minute? Therefore, Saudi Arabia could have as well handed over the proceeds of their oil to to the United nations. Cos "it is a natural resource that formed in that territory over millions of years". It is a world heritage!

Well, this type of argument is only possible with "lazy inadequate people", and an "ara oke" like ibedun, not surprised!

Their number is irrelevant as they are central to your survival.
They are your paymasters. Worst case scenario, if a paymaster is over bearing what is the honorable thing to do?
