They can't hold the players if they want to leave, you can't take an unhappy player to a tournament
Some of these players do pay their way off the Club from their Salary if they have a year or few months left in their Contract because most of this Clubs do come for Free Transfer Players, I know them and I work with some of them… Imagine getting 150k -200k Monthly and if you move to Turkey🇹🇷, Lithuania 🇱🇹, Poland🇵🇱, Kazakhstan🇰🇿 or Israel 🇮🇱 you will be earning at least 1.5-2M Naira Monthly, if na you, You go gree stay?? Talk more of going to Mexico or Spain that you’re guaranteed at least 3M to 4M Naira a month.. At least when you comot agent/ manager fee btw 15 to 20% you go still get Million for Account..

Back then rivers angel were poaching all the big talents in the league, they even sign Oshoala from robo queens
Sunshine Queens of Akure was bigger than FC Robo na, is just that they were Producing talented Players all round, more like a Semi Pro Club then that produced players for the Pros.

Remo stars are not top 6 yet it's Robo queens
They’re right now, with the Pay, playing environment and facilities available…!

Most of their Players have been in the Age grade National Team set up. Their Coach Wemimo has the highest Coaching Badges in CAF… Pro License and she’s among CAF Coach Educator..

Robo doesn’t have the Capacity but do produce talents too, Rivers Angels was always stealing their Talents then.

The 6 big teams in the league remains

Edo Queens
Bayelsa Queens
Rivers Angels
Nasarawa Amazons
Delta Queens
Remo Star Ladies…

In other African Countries, Only 1 or 2 Clubs have the best Players that’s why they’re able to dominate unlike Nigeria here where they’re shared among all of them..

Look at Fc Robo too they still got some few names like Shukurat and co in their Roster, Naija Ratels they have Omilana and Agama as their top players.

Gone are those days when Rivers Angels was supplying SuperFalcons almost 11players at once especially under Edwin Okon, if it was then the Champions League started they would have won it more than 5times because Rivers Angels was SuperFalcons team B then…
From 2010–2015/16
Ibubeleye Whyte
Josephine Chukwunonye
Osinachi Ohale
Ngozi Ebere
Ugo Njoku
Ulunma Jerome
Martina Ohadugha
Evelyn Nwabuoku
Cecilia Nku
Glory Iroka
Alice Ogebe
Asisat Oshoala
Chioma Wogu
Stella Mbachu

These are the ones I can remember right now, Imagine one Club supplying SuperFalcons players like this before they left to Europe and even when they run out of contracts abroad, they still return to Rivers Angels.

At some point, Rivers Angels had Tochukwu Oluehi, Ibubeleye Whyte, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Charity John as their goalkeepers and all of them where National Team players then U17, U20 and SuperFalcons..

I think Rivers Angels have been the most Declined Club in recent years followed by Delta Queens.. Edo Queens was known as Inneh Queens that year before things changed. Bayelsa, Nasarawa Amazons and Sunshine Queens were slightly above average then.

Lot of talents in the Nigerian league but they're scattered in different team unlike other African league that one team is just too good for every other team ... Nigeria is likely going to send another team next year
Edo Queens would have done better but they chose to sell their Star Players before the Champions League instead of waiting till after the Champions League…

Remo Stars have the money, If they can poach some of the top talents from the other teams they can do it…

But again same Remo Stars Ladies sold Akudo Ogbonna to a Swedish D2 Club recently, their brilliant U20 National Team Attacker just left to Join Pittsburgh University..!

They hardly sign players more than 2yrs, most are just for a year deal, with an Option of letting the Players go if better contract comes from Europe!.

I'll put them next to Ghana because you highlighted. If not, i no dey feel them. But they got individual talents sha. This wafcon, na 1 North African team go see that semis.
Mali have the standout players to do the job for them but their lack of Squad depth like the other two will be a problem for them, Bringing Nnadozie teammate at Paris FC shows their readiness to compete. Her experience will definitely help them a lot..

Mali Women’s National Team Squad is currently on the rise they finished 4th at the 2018 edition in Ghana, They currently boost of some talented and experienced names right now…

They have the Players to compete in that group C… South Africa and Ghana should better watch their back because that’s the group of Death..

See few of their Big names that Will be leading the team…! And there are some other talents in France Division 2 that I know of…

1•Teninsoun Sissoko (32yrs) Center Back, Paris FC France 🇫🇷
2• Fatou Dembele (24yrs) Center Back, UDG Tenerife Spain 🇪🇸
3• Agueissa Diarra (26yrs) Forward, PSG Feminine France 🇫🇷
4• Aissata Traoré (27yrs) Forward, Fluery FC France 🇫🇷
5• Saratou Traoré (22yrs) Midfielder, Fatih Karagümrük, Turkey 🇹🇷
With Sissoko joining them with her experience, she should pair up in Defense with Dembele who’s Monday Gift and Babajide teammates at Tenerife..

This is my Ranking on how they will Finnish in that group C, Mali to cause Havoc! Tanzania have fast threatening Players upfront with higher testosterone.
1. Ghana
2. South Africa
3. Mali
4. Tanzania

Two Engine rooms of SA are in hibernating mode right now. Mothlalo and Dlamini. I dunno about Seope sha but this Ghana rebuilding in last 1year with all those high profile friendlies, I'm tipping them to top that group. Mali need to show us how they want to be taken serious anyway. Na that congo and Tanzania go be underdogs wey dey upset. I hope they're put in their place sha. Those guys dey fear me😂😂

I dunno why they didn't just let the wafcon be 4 groups. 3 groups is annoying. Best of luck to Ghana sha.

Both Nigerian teams in coaching debacle. I don't like it atall. Shows Gusau is not it.

A Big Catch For The Malian WNT🇲🇱

Teninsoun Liliane Sissoko Born: 2 September 1992 (age 32 years) is set to represent Mali internationally. As a professional footballer from France playing as a Center Back (CB) for Paris FC, The Experience Defender has been summoned to play in two friendly matches in Casablanca, Morocco🔥.

Nope. Your earlier assertion is accurate: realistically and based on purely merit, I don’t see more than 2 home-based players making the final squad for next year’s Nations cup.
I can tell you, with the Draw done and tournaments set for Mid next year. All the Players will be on their toes trying to perform high at their Club level to earn a Spot.

But again NFF are set on Continuing with Interim Coach Madugu instead of getting the team a Good Technical Bench… African Women’s Football don pass Kick & Follow ooo. Don’t take your chance first you will be hurt by a Small team.

Going by their experience and performances these are still the top Defenders and Midfielders we have, Is there any one abroad or among the Homebased /U20 Squad that need to be picked ahead of this 6 Defenders??

Defenders
1• Osinachi Ohale, Mexico 🇲🇽
2• Blessing Demehin, Turkey 🇹🇷
3• Ashleigh Plumptre, Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
4• Chidinma Okeke, Mexico 🇲🇽
5• Michelle Alozie, USA 🇺🇸
6• Nicole Payne, USA 🇺🇸

Midfielders
1• Halimatu Ayinde, Sweden 🇸🇪
2• Christy Ucheibe, Portugal 🇵🇹
3• Deborah Abiodun, USA 🇺🇸
4• Toni Payne, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
5• Onyi Echegini, France 🇫🇷
6• Regina Otu, Turkey 🇹🇷

We still have the likes of Glory Ogbonna, Rofiat Imuran and the talented Favour Emmanuel based in Russia 🇷🇺

That would only happen if none of our foreign-based pros feature in that match
Even if they want to include the Home based players for Inclusion sake, they shouldn’t be more than 3 because I don’t even see any of them worth the Bench talk more of Starting…

Imagine Edna Imade currently hot in Spain with an average team like Granada FC, 21yrs Joy Omewa currently the top scorer in Denmark 🇩🇰 with 10goals and 6 assists in 13 League games and overall 14games, 11goals and 6Assists in every games this season haven’t been considered but they want Home Based who hasn’t even impressed much from the CAF Champions League and other Competitions…

Ghana is that team everyone should watch out for. But Nigeria should have a convincing ride through IMO. Talent dey. It is now up to NFF to give this team a great tactician. Many may be satisfied with how local coaches fared in tournaments this year, but i am not convinced since 2022.

The barest minimum for Super Falcons is final show. No 4th place again.

What a sweet belle e go be if Nigeria sweep both men's and women's trophy. Can NFf make that reality?
Yeah Ghana🇬🇭 is a team to watch out for, I would love to see them humble SA in that Group.. Is going to be tough, Mali have few of their stars in France right now and they’re very hot in form especially two of their Strikers playing for ( PSG & Fluery) ..

Is going to be a physical games in that group but the well Coached one should go through with SA & Ghana as favorites to go through...

Tanzania also have their own share of Higher Testosterone Players too especially that Clara Lavunga, If she plays then is going to be tough in that Group…

C, A and B in that order is the Strongest..

I wanted DR Congo 🇨🇩 in our Group though but didn’t come to pass.

Rita Akarekor 23yrs (born 13 February 2001) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for Yanga Princess in the Tanzania🇹🇿 Women Premier League. She was part of the 2018 U20 Women’s World Cup in France, She won the WAFCON with the Nigeria women's national team in 2016 under Coach Florence Omagbemi.

She was adjudged the best goalkeeper in the 2016 Nigeria Women Premier League. The former Delta Queens, Sunshine Queens and Nasarawa Amazons Goalkeeper is arguably one of the most Composed Goalkeeper we have..

She spent two season a Moroccan 🇲🇦 Clubside AMFFL Women’s Football Club before joining Yanga Princes...

I used to see her as another Version of Veteran Goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi and Alaba Jonathan because of how they command the Box even with their average height as a Goalie, she should be considered as one of those to look out for as backup for Chiamaka Nnadozie..

These are some of the Physical forwards we would be facing in the WAFCON if we’re drawn with them in the group stage..
I know NFF is trying to work the Interim Coach in as the SuperFalcons Coach, what I will always say is that the they should consider the Pace and Power of the WAFCON when picking the players as well cause this would definitely be one of the toughest WAFCON ever if not the toughest…!

There are So many players with higher testosterone level that ain’t popular yet in many of those National teams like Tanzania🇹🇿, DR Congo🇨🇩 that would announce themselves… Hope the Big Countries don’t underrate them, because right now the game is changing and everyone is improving…

Nigeria’s Super Falcons are a powerhouse in African women’s football, with a legacy built on generations of gifted strikers.

Players like Mercy Akide, Perpetua Nkwocha, and Asisat Oshoala have carried the team through decades of dominance.

As Oshoala’s era begins to wind down, the search for a new goal-scoring queen to lead Nigeria’s next generation continues.

Among the top candidates is Edna Imade, a young, Fast and Powerful forward making waves in Spanish Women’s Football League
