Echegini have to come out for Kanu or Okoronkwo…

Tarceina is dominating Ihezuo on aerial balls, Macleans can go toe to toe with her…!

Ajibade have been double marked by Brazil but she still finds a way to do her things…!

Looks more like T.Payne on the right and Echegini behind Ihezuo.
Toni in Midfield, Echegini on the Left..

Rash, Toni and Echegini can also switch regularly.

Goalkeeper, Tochukwu Oluehi The Last Woman Standing

Goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi is the ONLY player in the current Super Falcons' Team that have participated in the Olympic Games

Oluehi took part in the 2008 Beijing, China edition and will be making a return to the Olympics today as Super Falcons file out against Brazil by 6pm this evening

Ajibade isn't our biggest threat upfront. The data doesn't back it up. Plus Randy has played her several times in midfield so I don't get what the fuss is about. Again I'll rather she plays as a forward but when you have an unbalanced 18 man roster you make the most of what you have.
Rasheedat Ajibade is our Biggest threat upfront… In all aspects.

Anyway you can present your facts or so called data of who’s our biggest threat upfront.!

Jeremy frimmpong and Alex are natural attacking full backs Ajibade is naturally a forward player she will struggle defending a winger
Lovewins probably want to overwork the girl just because she combines both defensive & Attacking duties very well. Imagine playing your biggest threat upfront as a wingback, that’s wrong to be sincere.

If one of Nicole and Alozie can't play at LWB, I will rather play Tony Payne there or change the entire formation. Ajibade at WB is a no for me.

I think we should be able to get some from these sets of U17s and U20s.

Please where is Bashira Amoo? I think she partnered Deborah in midfield then.
Bashirat Amoo is currently based in Uzbekistan 🇺🇿

There are younger CDM like Chinyere Kalu, Yina Adoo can also play as a deep lying Midfielder, she’s very sound with the ball.. We have good qualities coming up in all Midfield areas.. The Wingers are the major setback right now..

I’m still wondering where the Agenda of playing Ajibade at Wingback is coming from seriously cause I also saw it on Twitter…!

If we have had two Ajibade in the team I would have been more confident than this, like Uchenna Kanu isn’t giving us what we expected… If we go by history she burst into the scene before Rash and the potentials was everywhere, now it seems as she’s going maturer her performance are deteriorating. Kanu that you will hardly differentiate between her Right or Left foot in the past which is the strongest? Kanu that was scoring free-kicks back to back while @ College.! She’s no longer as quick as she was, she was next to Franny after Oshoala back then. Her Growth really need to be questioned.

Look at Perpetual Nkwocha, Stella Mbachu, Vera Okolo, Cynthia Uwak etc they all performed at top level consistently till their 30+.

The likes of Ajakaye really need to step up, the modern game needs a lot of pace from the wingers and I can’t see any U20 right now giving us that vibe.!
To be sincere we no longer have the luxury of Wingers built with Pace, power, skills and excellent deliveries into the Box. Our age grade Coaches need to get their Scouting right.! Our style of play have always been dependent on those flashy Wingers, some might not have all the attributes of a Complete Winger but the Pace alone can put any defense under threat throughout the 90minutes..

Imagine a prime Stella Mbachu, Vera, Uwak, Chiejene, Chichi Igbo, Franny, Oshoala, Amenze, Esther Sunday all running at you, your fullbacks won’t there to stay high on the pitch..

We must not lose that Athleticism we’re known for.

I'm not arguing with you now. I said it is ok. We may even play Oshoala as wingback sef. Since Vicmo, Moses Simon and Frimpong have played there before.

When defending, the WBs will became the FBs and that's where you said we should play Ajibade. Ok sir.

JUST IN: CANADA Women’s National Team in Olympic Mess..

Assistant coaches Joseph Lombardi and Jasmine Mander are the people involved in this drone spy story. Both are fired and sent home immediately.

Bev Priestman chooses to withdraw for the first match scheduled for Thursday against New Zealand.

Joseph Lombardi is an analyst who was the unaccredited person. Jasmine Mander is an assistant to Bev Priestman and has been with her since the Tokyo Olympics.

Per @Devin_Heroux, there were two incidents of Canada Soccer staff members operating a drone over New Zealand soccer practices, July 19th and second time on July 22nd.
If IOC and/or FIFA decide to roll out suspensions or point deductions - essentially innocent players take the hit for horrendous behaviour by members of technical staff. Player didn’t cheat, but there was cheating in preparation phase. Really terrible here.

Drone footage wasn't in possession of anyone but the operator, who has been revealed as analyst Joseph Lombardi.

Lombardi informed Jasmine Mander of his visit to the New Zealand training camp.

Priestman says “By no means did I direct the individual.” All being investigated.

Questions that need answers;
1. Was footage transmitted to others?
2. Was footage analyzed and transmitted to others?
3. Who were the recipients of footage?
4. Who were recipients of analysis?

Update...ticket wahala.

Thursday's game between NGSuperFalcons and Brazil is the talk of the town in Bordeaux, but the issue is tickets for Nigerians. The Brazilians have bought half of the ticket for the game. Nigerians are still battling the ticket wahala here in France…

She's not. Again this is a role Ajibade has played before. I am not suggesting something that is novel. The role is simply he playing as LW but supporting the defense. She's simply playing upfront from the left then dropping deep when necessary to help the defense. She also won't be doing a lot of this if Uchiebe and Debbie do their job right. Also she's one of the few players with enough gas to play this role.

We won't miss Ajibade in attack. Have you forgotten there was a time when she was literally limited to the midfield? We have Kanu, Onumonu etc who can do the job offensively. It's also important to reiterate that the role she'll play in the formation doesn't take away her offensive responsibilities.
In whatever context, Rasheedat Ajibade has no business in the Defense as a WING Back..

If it come to worst that we short players in the defensive part of the Midfield , she can slot in as a CDM and another of our attacker pushed to the wing.. But again we don’t pray for this as we all know what she brings upfront.

Ajibade can still play from the wing now depending on how the game flows. Moreso, I think she is better in midfield.
Trust me, it was so difficult to leave out Tony Payne.
The defensive job she’s going to do as a Winger is enough, She’s out no.1 play marker upfront. Randy can’t risk taking her that deep. She will be the one to take on the fullbacks, draw them off positions, run at them, cut in and cross in.. Abeg Ajibade should remain on the wings.. I sense Randy playing Echegini on the left wing too, but with report from Camp now Uchenna Kanu is now very fit to play.!

Onumonu still on game management for sure..

I think you skipped my first line. Not my fault that Randy didn't invite a suitable LB. If at all I'm going to make change because of Nicole, I would rather move Alozie to LWB and Nicole to RWB. Playing Ajibade as a WB is just a mismatch. You need her upfront.

Macleans and Ihezuo? I went for a combination of explosiveness and physicality. Bear in mind the team is set up to defend deep and counter. Of course Oshoala will have to come in later in the game. Who exactly in that attack has been able to prove herself aside Oshoala? I see Okoronkwo more like a winger than a forward.
Esther Okoronkwo, Uchenna Kanu, Ifeoma Onumonu and Rasheedat Ajibade are going to do more of wingers job..!

While Chinwendu Ihezuo, Asisat Oshoala and Macleans Chinonyerem at No.9

I don’t mind playing Kanu — Macleans — Ajibade against Japan and deal with them with crosses from the top! They can’t compete with a strong Macleans in the air at all.. She’s the only one as good as Oparanozie in the air in the middle of two to three defenders..! Kanu is also good at getting at the end of crosses, this is another advantage we can use against Japan.. But who to do the Crosses?? No Babajide🥲💔

Any football fan would know the team is disjointed. Anyway, I would go with three at the back due to two principles. The first is not to give any space in midfield, and the second is not to give space behind for opponents to run to.

Ohale - Tosin - Okeke

Alozie- Deborah - Ajibade - Ucheibe - Nicole

Ihezuo - Macleans

I would have preferred Kanu ahead of Macleans but the former is not fit. Ihezuo will be there for the heavy duty work. She is capable. With Alozie and Nicole as the WBs, All Ucheibe and Deborah need to do is to screen, no need venturing forward.
You’re already limiting our key player abilities… Rasheedat Ajibade must play from the flank.. We need Toni Payne in that AM to help carry the ball, sprint forward and also unsettle our opponents DM’s
