Customs Officers Slaps An Aide To Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa (Photos, Video)

A video of a Nigerian customs officer slapping an aide to Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has surfaced online, IGBERETV reports

Human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, shared the video of the moment the customs officer slapped Mr. Samson Nwachukwu along the Benin/Agbor Expressway on Saturday, April 7, in the presence of his colleague and a military officer.

In the video, the officer can be heard angrily asking who Mr. Samson Nwachukwu is after he had told him he is a Special Assistant to Delta State Governor before slapping him. The video ended with the military officer telling the customs officer to "get this man down."

Although, Gwamnishu didn't reveal what led to the assault, but he vowed to demand Justice on behalf of Mr. Nwachukwu.

Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra state has praised Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, saying he leads the country very well when he has had the opportunity.

The governor added that Osinbajo acted excellently.

Soludo made the remarks when he received the VP at the Anambra State Government House on Friday, May 6, 2022, as the Vice President continued his consultations with APC delegates.

The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria noted that the Vice President has been one of the biggest promoters of Made in Nigeria products.

Soludo expressed excitement and hope for a cordial working relationship with the Vice President, noting that, he was most delighted to welcome Osinbajo to Anambra State.

He also said that the VP has been instrumental in promoting MSMEs and youth development.

He said, “You have been to Anambra severally, but the one that I was part of, in receiving you, and the one dear to my heart, was when you came to commission the shoe factory (at Ogbunike).

“Our government is about promoting made in Anambra, made in Nigeria (products). You came to empower us with that, with the MSMEs and thousands of youths and the less privileged in that particular industry.

Soludo further commended the Vice President for his efforts in government and for steering the National Economic Council, as its chairman, noting that NEC “coordinates all economic agenda of the 36 states of this country.”

“And in that capacity, I must state that Mr Vice President, also coordinating several of the special intervention programmes of the Federal Government, has been leading us well. In various areas and capacities where he has been assigned to do that, he has acted excellently,” he added.

Governor Soludo noted that all the progressives should come together to build a better Nigeria and make it work, “because we believe that if all the 36 states of the Federation work, Nigeria works.”

That's why those children marrying before 30 always end up misbehaving and looking for divorce even when they later advance in age, and they are always poor bastards always banging like rats and always producing children upandan as if they are competing with each other of how many children they produce like baby factories.
Useful beings like that don't waste their time thinking like you. BTW, the more serious ladies wanting to marry don't like wasting their time on children below 30. The emergence of Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin as the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly was welcomed by all Dick and Harry from the ancient town of Eruwa Ojoko, Ibarapa Land and of course, the entire peaceful people of Oyo state.

Disappointingly, the Speaker has approved several budgets and provided oversight functions in other regions of the state while his own constituency and region has been abandoned by the Oyo state government.

Frankly, Oyo state government hasn't embarked on any project in Ibarapa East, the immediate constituency of the Hon. Speaker.

The Speaker also imported the PMS boys (thugs) from Ibadan to his home town, Eruwa during the last LGA election and this led to the death of about 3 citizens of the peaceful and loving community, with several others injured.

Several infrastructural, developmental and agricultural projects have been budgeted for the constituency in 3 years budget consistently but none has seen the light of the day.

Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin rode on his father's goodwill when he was alive to clinch the HOA ticket, got elected and of course, became the Speaker of the 9th Assembly, Oyo State.

The first term of Engr. Seyi Makinde as Oyo state's governor comes to an end soon and campaigns have commenced already.
Should we still expect anything?

The road to Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin hill top residence is in a deplorable condition and the Honourable Speaker cannot do anything about it. I mean, the speaker sleeps in this house whenever he's in town because he has no other building.
