This is not about the officers now, there is a fundamental problem with the country called Nigeria and until the country is unbundled and the foundational problem sorted, acts of corruption like this will continue to be commonplace.
Unbundle the entity called Nigeria today, those problems will still continue in the newly independent constituents

Well, yeah...the Bible says that righteousness exalts a nation, Nigeria reigns by doing the opposite and that's why we are here.

Do i need to be in anambra to know all these about him?
Forget about Anambra. But you think there's no problem despite everything Obi stated there which you didn't counter? Then you're one of Nigeria's problem.

And it's so sad some people would think the average market woman who isn't schooled is the problem because she collects 1000 to vote, not knowing that there are people like you who can read and write but would rather see their country become like Somalia, Liberia and other prosperity-forsaken country rather than to admit the truth.

Ngige told doctors to go back to farm sometimes ago. If you're a doctor too, would you go back to farm or would you go to where your skills are needed?

People like Ngige and the entirety of Buhari's government played a big role in the massive migration of Nigerian doctors and no one is calling them to question. The rubber stamp legislators too are not worried since they're collecting "prayers"

Okay.

Please name just two of those countries with video or pictures of their standard airports.

Then state the yearly or monthly national income of those countries as compared to Nigeria.
Nigeria should also increase her national income aggressively. That's why we vote every 4 years.

Instead of increasing the income, they're eating What should be the seeds through unnecessary jamboree, projects that lack feasibility and misprioritisation of government's spending.

I just want people to realise that our problem as a people has nothing to do with religions. I like your conscientiousness but take away religions from us and we'll even get worse.

If not for Christianity, I know the extent I would have gone to destroy my own life by choosing wrongly

We corrupt those religions, religions are just tools for achieving spiritual goals.

He should be arrested for public disturbance, relevance of Bible and Christianity are all gone.
It's not important in our lives anylonger, we are in a capitalist age now, if you don't work you no go chop, if you you no work you no go pay bills and Jesus from heaven will not come down to help you with it.
Where were Jesus Christ , the Bible , and the Quran when black people were being enslaved and traded by the west, where was the Quran when the arab slave traders slaughtered and massacred millions of African black people.
The whites that introduced the Bible knew that it is full of deceits and an enslaving tool to permanently colonize the mind of the blacks African forever.
Africans don't need the Bible or the Quran in the first place or at all again.
What African youths need now is STEM , science, technology, engineering, mathematics, for us to be fully liberated..
I feel saddened seeing young minds being poisoned by the Bible and the Quran,
This young preacher has no business with Jesus Christ or Muhammad, he should focus his mind on STEM courses
You mixed up a lot of things here bro.

The western world are STEM-centric but they have more problems than you can imagine. The only problem they've overcome to a large extent is the problem of basic needs: food, housing, electricity etc.

What God can do, man cannot do and yet, God has handed over certain things to man. If man fails in his responsibility, God will not come down from heaven to take man's place. This is the core of our problem in Africa.

China, India and many Asian nations are progressing and they have their belief systems. They've created distinctions between science and belief. The Western nations you refer to didn't become STEM focused all of a sudden, it's a core part of their system.

In fact, majority of what become the foundation for modern day civilization especially architecture and capitalism industrialisation, were on the backs of some belief system especially Christianity.

As far as Nigeria is today, take every form of moral standard away and you'd see what Thomas Hobbes called "The State of Nature". We need to be focused on STEM truly, but it's cultural, political and collective more than it's religious.

lol can't stop laughing... Am very tired of that religion called Christianity... Nigerians practicing that religion are becoming a nuisance as days goes by. They have programmed our brain to be religious that we think God will one day come down to earth physically and give us money...
Then forget about God and go, look for money.

You know what's funny? You can't serve God except you're willing. Christianity in Nigeria needs help, granted but come off it, it's a belief system. You can choose or ignore it. If you're finding it difficult to ignore and then you think it's a nuisance, you're fighting some internal battles you haven't take note of.

The whites were in the age of industrial development when they brought Christianity to SOME parts of Africa (Christianity has been in Ethiopia for thousands of years).

Moreover, Christianity and Christians were at the forefront of western civilisation that spread through Europe towards the end of the middle age.

If we have any problem with religion in Nigeria, apart from one religion like that, it is not Christianity.

Belief systems, philosophy, ideology and religions are universal. Except when a religious poses physical harm to others, there's no reason go against them.

In inner areas of those developed countries, you'll still see people preaching publicly with strapped on speaker, giving out tracts to people and they're not blacks. They're indigents.

Nigeria can't feed her citizens, yet they're chanting Cop23 or whatever. A country that needs a lot of existential help doesn't have any business worrying about climate change now.

Change the climate in people's living standards first!

There's no reason to call him "God" if He doesn't have those qualitities.

Much as you might want to have it though, He doesn't control the hearts of humans. Humans make the major decision about what happens to our world. Or you think we would be any less than animals if we don't have a mind and conscience?

TravelRe: Japa - Western Countries Scamming Nigerians? by Demayour: 8:10am On Nov 29, 2023
agentarcher:
To understand japa syndrome, you have to look deep. No matter how much you tell Nigerians, they will prefer abroad over Nigeria. When a Nigerian is born, society sings to him/her that Nigeria is hell, it's a zoo, it's punishment, it's a backwards country That usa/uk is heaven on earth, the promise land, the place for everyone to live. The average Nigerian is programmed to hate Nigeria from birth. They go into survival mode until they can make plans to move. It's opposite over there, they teach their kids that their country is the best. Their kids grow up with the mentality that they are better and will do anything to make sure they look better than others. That's why a millionaire here can sell all his properties here and move there and be just your average citizen and doesn't mind it. Mentally, he has always seen there as his end destination. Whatever hardship he sees there, he doesn't mind. Ask the average Nigerians, you would see some don't mind sleeping on the road of usa, as long as they can say I'm in usa. If you like, give them an essay on how bad usa or uk is, they will still prefer it. Even our leaders do not see the Nigeria as good. Hence, they send their children there to learn. They go there for treatments.
I agree with most of what you said apart from the bolded.

You mean, the society dictates that there shouldn't be jobs, the Nigerian state should still be battling with power supply in this century, there should be kidnapping and all sorts of insecurities, very poor healthcare system, uncertainty of the future among the young ones?

I've always looked at japa with disdain until I started seeing what the Nigerian system does to à lot of promising young people with this insecurity, unemployment and all manner of systemic failure. People may be having hard times when they japa but most Nigerians in the diaspora are not thinking of what to eat, how to get fuel, electricity, good healthcare system etc. Those basics alone are enough justification for thousands of people leaving Nigeria.

Those soldiers should be arrested and prosecuted. Why should they stop someone that wants to end their life in this miserable country? That should be a crime honestly. Someone wants to die and go and find eternal happiness in the great beyond, but you're stoping them, do you want them to keep suffering? Abi when you rescue them will you solve their problems? Please people have the right to do whatever they want to themselves.
Eternal happiness doesn't exist if you kill yourself though. You enter into a realm of restlessness straight after suicide.

I really don't know what to say seeing this. Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba....and every other tribes. Religions and tribes are the only differences. Nigerians have the same character across board. We keep seeing the atrocities of these people and they still support them en masse. Particularly the masses that are feeling the heat the most.

It's sad. It's far better if the colonialists were in power. At least, people will have a sense that they're being taken advantage of. But now? It's really sad.
