PoliticsRe: Eliminating Bigotry From The Politics Section. by Demdem(m): 3:56pm On May 19, 2013
sexkillz: It violated rule 2.

Someone then quoted the comment and insulted your father. I removed the insult to your father and banned the poster for insulting your father.

the problem wasnt my comment but the insult on his father which u rightly removed

There was argument over the insult on your father therby violating rule 1 as well.

still didnt explain what is wrong with my post.

All that could have been avoided if you did not deliberately try to provoke some people.

and how did i provoke the said people? my post goes somehow like this:

i wonder when the retardeen will fulfill the floating cities he promised us here in the ND

Cant recollect the other. where is the provoke? i can even claim that ur post or font is provoking me, will that make u ban ursef? please lets apply wisdom here. My post wasnt directed at anyone. I entered a thread, read the opening post and gave my comments and some nuts somewhere is saying i am provoking. that doesnt make sense at all

That is the last time I'll remove such a comment of yours without punishing you for it.

punish me for making my honest comment without directing it to any NL member? this is crazy.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints, Suggestions & Enquiries Here by Demdem(m): 3:48pm On May 19, 2013
Afam4eva: Those comments contained rude language and needed to be hidden.
I wonder when the retardeen will fulfil the floating cities promise he promised us here in ND

Whats wrong with the above? whats rude in that? cant recollect the other one.

sexkillz: People are free to express themselves but not free to insult. For example, BAMALISA or whatever that username is voiced his opinion yesterday on what is going on in the north presently(which was "freedom of speech" ) but we had over 30 people quoting his comment and insulting him. Was that freedom of speech as well?

You don't insult people and call it freedom of speech. If that has been your perception, you'll do well to change it!

And like I told you earlier, seun knows what he is doing. Don't bother about him, just abide by his rules.

Did u hide my posts on other threads? if so kindly tell me why? thanks.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints, Suggestions & Enquiries Here by Demdem(m): 1:26pm On May 19, 2013
Please, why are two of my posts hidden. Can one mod kindly give me a reason. No harm was in those posts

This is no brainer. Aregbesola takes the crown. Only fools will think otherwise.
PoliticsRe: Kalu Gave Obasanjo N100m For 1999 Elections by Demdem(m):
Kalu should shut up. Jonathan is igbo. Igbos are already enjoying the presidency.

IslamRe: Franck Ribery Furious Over Beer Bath by Demdem(m): 3:05am On May 19, 2013
Afam4eva: I didn't see that part.
Go back and read. It's still there.
IslamRe: Franck Ribery Furious Over Beer Bath by Demdem(m): 8:03pm On May 18, 2013
Afam4eva: You know this how? Could it be that in the spur of the moment, Boateng forgot that Ribery was a Muslim.

The report made mention of pre match warning to this effect. Boateng has no excuse.

eko ileee: We can move ahead by you staying in your regulatory lane and let others stay in theirs.

Meaning, concern yourself with what is actually against NL rules and less about other people's emotional and sentimental cries.

Many words are allowed on NL, but some folks complain over everything and anything they don't like and not necessarily because other used banned words and references.

Agood examples of course is Aboki, Aboki is not an offensive word and it is only to folks who are trying to make it one.

There's a hit song in Nigeria as we speak titled Aboki, the singer sang about his frineds all over Nigeria at every level of the society. The writer and singer's stage name is Ice Prince and his real name Panshak Zamani born and raised in Niger and by all means he's true to the core Hausa.

You in a leadership possition shouldn't be part of this ignorance just because some members cried to you based on their own dubious and selfish reasons.

You can not infringe on other people's rights just to please others. NL has it's own culture and idiosyncrasies which you must know and look out for if you really care about your job.

Please don't get me wrong cos I'm not in any way trying to dump on you or tell you how to do your job, this is just my own take and reasonings based on my personal experience as a member.
I adopt this post 100%
PoliticsRe: Lagos Recruits 70 Female Truck-Drivers by Demdem(m): 4:57pm On May 18, 2013
_BuBBle_: . U feel there is nothing wrong in engaging them as that, i hope u r joking cos if they taking women they also need men and I believe nothing will make u apply for that opportunity talk of advising the most illiterate member of ur family to apply esp females so get real.
There are different cadres/class in the society. If mine or ur class doesn't fit in, be rest assured that some will fit in. Besides we already have ladies driving these trucks. Is it not the same lagos we have lady mechanics that are being celebrated. There is dignity in labour. Again I reinstate that nothing is wrong in ladies driving those trucks especially if they are new.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Recruits 70 Female Truck-Drivers by Demdem(m): 2:02pm On May 18, 2013
_BuBBle_: . what is wrong with engaging them in offices, and ensuring that since they can drive trucks they shd use their initiatives for development and fighting corruption. Women shd appear elegant(not ashawo either) at all times not like agbero, that is my ownooo
nothing is wrong in that. There is also nothing wrong in engaging them as truck drivers also. afterall they are humans.
PoliticsRe: Why Dont Nigerians Trust And Respect GEJ? by Demdem(m): 12:41pm On May 18, 2013
joeyfire: I disagree. He actually has some extremely bright achievers around him and they are really working hard. I just wonder what happens in between the decision making and tangible results we long to see. To be honest sha I must admit power supply has improved massively
I disagree completely especially the power part. Barth seems to have taken it with him. Here in PH, its darkness galore.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Recruits 70 Female Truck-Drivers by Demdem(m): 12:08pm On May 18, 2013
_BuBBle_: For what naa, training peoples mum's to be agbero. Is that the best opportunities for their feminine race. Their madam's at the top can they do that kind of job sef. My opinion!
Are those agberos not some peeps dad?
PoliticsRe: Why Dont Nigerians Trust And Respect GEJ? by Demdem(m): 11:35am On May 18, 2013
Because he surrounds himself with criminals of all sorts. He is also corrupt and governance wise daft.

sexkillz: While you may be right, remember that in aiming to be at peace with everyone, you "deliberately" do not hurt them. If saying "ibo" annoys him, look for an alternative. He'll be more inclined to see the point you are making.

I'm not saying that the word "ibo" is wrong but put your self in his shoes and try understanding him better.

The bottom line is I am right. We have over a million members, how will I know the thousands that don't mind and those that do? Besides, if the post is directed at no one perse, why should such take an offence in that.
If its right, it is. There is no two way around it again.
PoliticsRe: A Question That Should Be Answered By Seun by Demdem(m): 3:20am On May 18, 2013
The op should be reminded that ikenna remains a mod in car talk so allegations that he doesn't want to have anything to do with seun is rubbish.
PoliticsRe: Eliminating Bigotry From The Politics Section. by Demdem(m): 2:53am On May 18, 2013
Obiagu1: ^^^

One of such words is Ibo. So stay clear from it.
And what is wrong with ibo? Ibo, heebo, yaribaa, Aboki and their likes are good to go. We have discussed this extensively. So many ibo boys are even proud to be such.
PoliticsRe: Eliminating Bigotry From The Politics Section. by Demdem(m): 2:42am On May 18, 2013
sexkillz: Noted.

Don't mind that joke. How does retardeen constitute bigotry? Was it not on this forum we named Obj gorrilla? Yaradua nko? Baba go slow. Now that its the turn of the kai kai infected brain from otuokpe, some are already crying. Abegi, this has nothing to do with bigotry at all.

Ngwakwe: Thank God for his mercies.

One way traffic who got no atom of respect.

It is now your duty and obligation to insult me any time you read my comment.

Mtchew

I only asked an honest question and am sure it hit the right nerves.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Sexkillz Inherits Ikenna351's Anti-Tribalism War by Demdem(m): 1:28pm On May 17, 2013
Ngwakwe: Another Igbo again?

Please, Sexkillz should not face the same insults and accusations meted against Ikenna without your (Seun) vocal and unbiased support (I mean defence).

For goodness sake, don't allow you kinsmen to run riot on him for no valuable reason.
If Kumuyi thinks the way u think, would u have been his follower?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Sexkillz Inherits Ikenna351's Anti-Tribalism War by Demdem(m): 1:23pm On May 17, 2013
And how many times do I have to tell seun that there is nothing wrong with tribalism. What we should fight is bigotry, not tribalism.
I will advise ur new mod to apply wisdom. He is Welkom.
PoliticsRe: Lagosians Spend N1bn On 'Owambe' Monthly by Demdem(m): 1:16pm On May 17, 2013
Excellent development. Afterall, lagos isn't introducing any new tax, just enforcing existing tax in our law books.

There is nothing volatile about this section.

Why not now? What are u waiting for.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints, Suggestions & Enquiries Here by Demdem(m): 1:00pm On May 17, 2013
PointB: I didn't say she can't unban. I only stated the proper way to do it. And this is by asking the one who banned to unban, and only do it when he refuses. That's the only way to be really 'super', the other way you suggested is 'ordinary' .
And how are u sure he wasn't told or warned. Oam4j made mention of something like that earlier. From the little we know about Ikenna, it was obvious he regards his own rules superior to that of NL.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints, Suggestions & Enquiries Here by Demdem(m): 12:56pm On May 17, 2013
slimghost: Stop blabbing! Its no secret that Mukina and OM4J or whatever his name is are biased MODS, always siding the yorubas.
Still haven't made sense. It's like u saying retardeen is gay.
