In Zimbabwe the pride price called 'Lobola' costs as much as $10,000.00 (US Dollars). If thats the case, its not a bad idea for her to contribute after which she cud get paid back later. ![]() |
From 1996 to 2000 FIFA was king. PES/Winning Eleven took the crown from 2001 - 2009. FIFA bounced back 2010 - till date. Reviews and game experts confirms this. I am a die hard football gamer and I usually take my time in migrating to the reigning football game. However, I can tell you that last year I dumped my PES 2010 for FIFA 2010 and never looked back. It took a while though. The first week I played FIFA 2010, I couldn't understand what all the hype was about. My bro in Yankee to give it at least a week b4 I judge so I can have a proper feel of the game. After one week I threw away my PES2010 dvd on PS3. I haven't looked back since then. Now, I'm on the FIFA 2011 and I cant wait to lay my hands on FIFA2012. FIFA all the way. Its just a matter of time before everybody catches the FIFA bug. |
This bill is highly regrettable and of great disservice to the nation. It will embolden the would-be looters to stash away siphoned funds in foreign bank accounts. If the bill is truly aimed at Nigerians in Diaspora coming back to serve the nation then, the bill should seek to mainatain whatever accounts elected/selected government personnel have at resumption of duty. By so doing, the likes of Okonjo Iweala, Aganga etc can still have access to their foreign bank accounts. |
To make it clearer I'm 28. So as per age, she gotta be above 21yrs, if not I'll fel like a craddle snatcher, but not more than 30yrs. That way u have a lot to choose from ![]() ![]() |
She had better make sure she employs Nigerians to sail, maintain and service the ships. That way she can give jobs to teeming unemployed citizens in the Niger Delta area. I'm against public looting, but its best to deploy the looted funds to the benefit of the common Nigerian man. And in this case, that would mean boosting local content instead of employing foreigners. word! ![]() |
Google Chrome is easily the best! |
Pls go with Nigerdock, a more reputable engineering firm ![]() |

Thats simple, He shud take the banking job 1st and still keep his eyes wide open for a better engineering job, since his heart lies in the engr field. Taking that 60k engr job with the distance, stress and all that wont be gud for him, especially since he reall needs the money. I say, stick with the bankingh job for now ![]() Best of Luck. |
@ ZINGI Thanks for the useful info. Please could you go a step further by giving names of some schools in UK that offer Msc Gas Engineering and other related courses. Thanks. |
@PLC I believe your story. A lot of all these rich Nigerian politicians are like that,I know you have more juicy gist for us. Dont mind the unbelievers. They dont know that to hit it big sometimes you have to get your hands dirty. Go on and give us another story. @All These things do happen, though for different reasons. But I believe the most prominent reason is for the her to secure her job. The country is hard, you wont believe the extent some ladies will go to make a living. And this time after all, no body will know, "So what the heck? lets get it done with, just dont tell my husban/boyfriend or whatever the case may be, " ![]() |
Nice one there, I'll have to copy this and send it to my peeps. |
To be relevant in the oil and gas industry, I believe the basic certifications you would need are:- AUTOCAD, PDMS, IWCF (Well Completion course).A certification in directional drilling will make you a hot cake here. Also, you may take a look at this link http://btdconline.com/training.asp for more certifications. Its a company that specializies in manpower development for the oil and gas industry. You might see something that interests you. Regards |
What a thread!!! Playing on the intelligence of the millions of Nigerian youths seeking employment. Who would like to work in one of the best paying banks in Nigeria? Who no like better thing? @poster Kindly make sure this your survey is meaningful at the end. This is all happening because of the poor economic state of the country. Who wants to work in Exxon Mobil? could be the next question. Landers beware of such superficial so called surveys. Cheers y'all. |
Mechanical Engineering is very diverse. First of all are you a graduate of Mech Engr? I sincerely doubt if you can get what you are looking for. But you could see certifications in sub-departments under Mech Engr like:- Refrigeration and air conditioning, Industrial safety & management, Metallurgy & Corrosion, Power plant Engr. and so on and so fort. So you really have to be more specific and have an idea of what interests you. Like olanajim said, mech Engr is very diverse. Good luck in your endevaours. |

you must be kidding me. Well, unless you are the local Govt chairman, but apart from that I'd consider it funny to compare the two jobs. |
Well, if I were in your shoes I would definitely choose Diamond bank. Its not about just the money, its also about the working environment and job satisfaction.you would have fewer people to attend to everyday at Diamond bank plus the probability of rising is higher. i would advise you to pray on it and seek advice from bankers with more experince on the issue. good luck. |
