RomanceRe: Would You Pay Groom Price For Your Boyfriend? by Demoore(m): 11:22pm On Sep 23, 2011
In Zimbabwe the pride price called 'Lobola' costs as much as $10,000.00 (US Dollars). If thats the case, its not a bad idea for her to contribute after which she cud get paid back later. cool
GamingRe: PES 2012 Vs FIFA 2012: Which Soccer Game Would You Prefer? by Demoore(m): 8:26pm On Aug 17, 2011
From 1996 to 2000 FIFA was king. PES/Winning Eleven took the crown from 2001 - 2009. FIFA bounced back 2010 - till date. Reviews and game experts confirms this.

I am a die hard football gamer and I usually take my time in migrating to the reigning football game. However, I can tell you that last year I dumped my PES 2010 for FIFA 2010 and never looked back. It took a while though. The first week I played FIFA 2010, I couldn't understand what all the hype was about. My bro in Yankee to give it at least a week b4 I judge so I can have a proper feel of the game. After one week I threw away my PES2010 dvd on PS3.

I haven't looked back since then. Now, I'm on the FIFA 2011 and I cant wait to lay my hands on FIFA2012.

FIFA all the way.

Its just a matter of time before everybody catches the FIFA bug.
PoliticsRe: Constitutional Ammendment May Lift Ban On Foreign Account Ownership by Demoore(m): 5:11pm On Aug 10, 2011
This bill is highly regrettable and of great disservice to the nation. It will embolden the would-be looters to stash away siphoned funds in foreign bank accounts.

If the bill is truly aimed at Nigerians in Diaspora coming back to serve the nation then, the bill should seek to mainatain whatever accounts elected/selected government personnel have at resumption of duty.
By so doing, the likes of Okonjo Iweala, Aganga etc can still have access to their foreign bank accounts.

PoliticsRe: Patience Jonathan Bought Two Oil Vessels For $64 Million - SocietyNowNG by Demoore(m): 4:53pm On Aug 10, 2011
She had better make sure she employs Nigerians to sail, maintain and service the ships. That way she can give jobs to teeming unemployed citizens in the Niger Delta area.

I'm against public looting, but its best to deploy the looted funds to the benefit of the common Nigerian man. And in this case, that would mean boosting local content instead of employing foreigners.

word! cool wink

CareerRe: Two Offers: A Banking Job And An Engineering Job by Demoore(m): 12:09pm On Feb 09, 2008
Thats simple,
He shud take the banking job 1st and still keep his eyes wide open for a better engineering job, since his heart lies in the engr field. Taking that 60k engr job with the distance, stress and all that wont be gud for him, especially since he reall needs the money.
I say, stick with the bankingh job for now smiley

Best of Luck.

CareerRe: Why Do Most Female Secretaries Sleep With Their Bosses? by Demoore(m): 1:42pm On Feb 08, 2008
@PLC
I believe your story. A lot of all these rich Nigerian politicians are like that,I know you have more juicy gist for us. Dont mind the unbelievers. They dont know that to hit it big sometimes you have to get your hands dirty. Go on and give us another story.

@All
These things do happen, though for different reasons. But I believe the most prominent reason is for the her to secure her job. The country is hard, you wont believe the extent some ladies will go to make a living. And this time after all, no body will know, "So what the heck? lets get it done with, just dont tell my husban/boyfriend or whatever the case may be, "

wink wink wink wink

CareerRe: Certification Course/training In Mechanical Engineering In Nigeria by Demoore(m): 2:14pm On Feb 06, 2008
To be relevant in the oil and gas industry, I believe the basic certifications you would need are:- AUTOCAD, PDMS, IWCF (Well Completion course).A certification in directional drilling will make you a hot cake here.
Also, you may take a look at this link http://btdconline.com/training.asp for more certifications. Its a company that specializies in manpower development for the oil and gas industry. You might see something that interests you.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Would You Like To Work In Oceanic Bank? by Demoore(m): 1:00pm On Feb 05, 2008
What a thread!!! Playing on the intelligence of the millions of Nigerian youths seeking employment.
Who would like to work in one of the best paying banks in Nigeria? Who no like better thing?

@poster Kindly make sure this your survey is meaningful at the end. This is all happening because of the poor economic state of the country.
Who wants to work in Exxon Mobil? could be the next question.
Landers beware of such superficial so called surveys.

Cheers y'all.
CareerRe: Certification Course/training In Mechanical Engineering In Nigeria by Demoore(m): 9:55am On Feb 05, 2008
Mechanical Engineering is very diverse. First of all are you a graduate of Mech Engr? I sincerely doubt if you can get what you are looking for. But you could see certifications in sub-departments under Mech Engr like:- Refrigeration and air conditioning, Industrial safety & management, Metallurgy & Corrosion, Power plant Engr. and so on and so fort.
So you really have to be more specific and have an idea of what interests you. Like olanajim said, mech Engr is very diverse.

Good luck in your endevaours.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: First Bank Or Diamond Bank: Which Do I Choose? by Demoore(m): 2:25pm On Jun 13, 2007
Well, if I were in your shoes I would definitely choose Diamond bank. Its not about just the money, its also about the working environment and job satisfaction.you would have fewer people to attend to everyday at Diamond bank plus the probability of rising is higher. i would advise you to pray on it and seek advice from bankers with more experince on the issue. good luck.
