she will comr out soon IJN.. BUH my question is.. did the robbers mention her name?..
**confused**
Robbers caught by Police will mention any name they are coerced to mention.

Let the Police do their investigation. But locking her up for over a week and plastering her name around the world as a common criminal prior to investigation is wrong. Innocent till proven guilty.

CrimeMbonu Oluchi Accused Of Trying To Kill Estranged Husband Setup - Facebook User by Demoore(op): 4:42pm On Oct 29, 2016
The true story about Mbonu Oluchi.

She is a friend of over 19 years. These are true facts... Please read with an open mind.

Oluchi got married to Mr. Tochukwu Onyeabushi on the 11th of January 2014. Shortly after the wedding, she became a victim of Domestic Violence.(Also unknown to her he was previously married before and the 1st wife left after 6mths due to DV) Tochukwu turned her to a punching bag. This continued even during her pregnancy. On the 18th of April 2014, whilst beating her up he pushed her down the staircases with her pregnancy of about 30 weeks 2days, she went to faith city hospital VI and was admitted (I will furnish the hospital report). On the 28th of April 2014, she gave birth to a baby girl at about 7mths,the baby had to be incubated because she came out preterm.
Oluchi was discharged and only comes around to breastfeed her daughter. With the stitches of the CS operation she underwent, tochukwu still beats her even in the presence of her Mother who came for Omugwo and his own Mother!!!!.

Tochukwu on the 6th and 13th of May 2016 reported her at the customary court Maroko for custody of their daughter of about one year plus, the President of the customary court explained to him that he cannot be awarded custody because of the tender age of the child.(I will attach the customary court summons).

Before now, on the 12th of Jan 2016,while in the office, he packed her belongings, her daughter and the nanny to her office and told her that he is fed up of her and that he was no longer interested in the marriage, he personally went to the Nigerian law School campus VI and chartered a taxi who took Oluchi back to her father's house...... Since that day till now, Oluchi has been in her parent's house.
Oluchi had to make a report against Tochukwu at the Maroko Police Station for work place harassment and intimidation as he will work boldly into her office and in the presence of bank staff and customers scream at her "I will deal with you, you are a slut, I will beat you black and blue" etc. The police called him and he wrote and undertaking never to do so, but unfortunately it continued. (Will also include the letter to the police).

On the 5th of May, Oluchi petitioned him at the social welfare unit, Ilasan lekki Lagos, as his threats were becoming unbearable and he threatened to take away her child from her, he was invited on the 10th of May 2016 and was told that the child was still too tender to be awarded to him...The child was just 2 years and one month old then.. He didn't listen to the family assessor and walked out of the meeting angrily.

Sometimes in late September 2016, Oluchi was served with a motion filed by tochukwu on the 30th of August 2016 seeking custody of the child on the ground that he is the biological father and Oluchi is an irresponsible mother. The motion was to be heard on the 26th of August 2016. Oluchi quickly filed her own counter Affidavit which was filed on the 17th of October 2016.
Surprisingly on the 25th of October at about 11.30pm, she was arrested and taken to Abeokuta just some hours before the matter came up in court, and guess what his lawyer was in court but thank God that the court didn't sit.

On the Night that Tochukwu was robbed, I was reliably informed by Oluchi's father that his phone rang about 10pmish and when he picked the call, he was told that his son in law was rushed to the hospital and was robbed, the same call came to Oluchi's phone, that tochukwu was robbed and was seriously injured. Who called them? Why hasn't the police investigated who called both of them that night?
They initially refused to go all the way from AYOBO to lekki at about past 11pm in the night. Oluchi made calls to friend of tochukwu she knew that lived near him to help our, pending when she will get to lekki.

She even took two days off work to nurse him back to health and he still had the temerity to come to her father's house with policemen and arrested her. That is the height of wickedness. How come she was arrested and her pictures shown all over the Internet without proper investigation carried out?

The Nigerian Police must learn to investigate properly and the Nigerian Press must learn to do their own investigation before printing out their stories. As a matter of fact Oluchi has never slept in tochukwu's house since Jan this year, so how come she she showed them where to hide the cutlasses and matchets? His car was to be taken to her brother in Onitsha. Oluchi has only one brother who passed on about 4 years ago. Bikonu which brother?

#JusticeForOluchi
#SheDidNotHireAssassins
#SheIsAVictim
#PoliceConspiracy

It will end in Praise for Oluchi.

PoliticsRe: Buhari May Sack Emefiele ‘Any Moment From Now’ - Ripples by Demoore(m): 8:11pm On Feb 17, 2016
This is false.

President Buhari lacks the power to sack the CBN Governor.

The most President Buhari can do is to suspend Emefiele for various acts of financial recklessness and misconduct which are inconsistent with the CBN Act;s vision of a Central Bank propelled by the core values of focused economic management, prudence, transparency and financial discipline; based on an indictment from FRCN. Only the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) is empowered to indict the CBN Governor, which can then trigger the President to suspend him till investigations are concluded.

seunmsg:
The president can remove the CBN governor by an address to the senate stating the governor has been found guilty of gross misconduct and of course, with the approval of two third of members of the senate.

If this news is true, PMB should please appoint an Economist as the new CBN governor. We don't need another deposit money bank MD as CBN governor at this point in time. We need a governor that can think through monetary policies before deciding on them.

chattelle:
Airtel Just notice that data competition is actually high
and most of their customers is
seriously drifting a way to another better and cheaper
network… And they think the only way
to fit into this data competition is to reduced their data
price by 100% as well as bringing back
the Android 1+1 offer which gives you 4GB for 2K and
9GB for #3,500 to last you 2months and 3months
respectively.
Initially, this plan was stopped by Airtel NG and I’ve
come to realize that ETisalat and Glo is
seriously given them hard times in the data market so
they had no choice than to bring the Airtel 1+1 package
back.
Before you subscribe, you must be eligible enough if not,
it won’t work.
How Can I Subscribe For This Package?
==>Dial *4371# to check if you are eligible
Or dial *4381#
==>If you are eligible, load your Airtel line with N2,000
or N3,500 depending on the package you
want to go for
==>Set your APN to internet.ng.airtel.com
Save and connect.
Will This Airtel Plan Work on My Device?
Yes, it work on all device including iPhone, iPad, Nokia,
Blackberry etc…
Pls what's your source of info?

C. whyte:
I really need to correct your impression about this tv rights of a thing but can't quote all of you.

1. The government is not supposed to take part in bidding for tv rights. That's for BON to do.

2. No money was budgeted for AFCON TV rights, BON will have to rely on sponsors.

3. The usual tv sponsors (telecoms and banks) backed out because Orange and Standard are the event sponsors.

4. Nigeria paid 2.2 million USD (about N350m) last year, why pay 4.5 million euros (about 935 million this year.

5. Zambia paid 1million euros for the AFCON TV
rights, why should Nigeria pay 4.5 million
euros?
Good job BON, we ain't paying a dime.

6. Its not as if we would win anyways...
Zambia's population = 14m, they paid 1m euros

Nigeria's population = 170m+, refused to pay 4.5m (that's 10 times Zambia's population)

You know football viewing rights is based on population of country, right?

Who's fooling who here?
CrimeRe: Gay Men Stripped & Paraded In Imo State by Demoore(m): 9:02am On Jan 17, 2013
It's sad to see that we still commit this barbaric act in Nigeria. Why parade suspects naked? Why not hand them over to the appropriate authorities e.g.Police? Has a court of competent jurisdiction convicted them of homosexuality? I do not understand the way some people think sometimes.

This is the same thing that happened in Aluu4 where 4 boys that went to recover a loan were falsely accused of armed robbery, stripped naked, paraded and killed in broad day light.

Please, as a matter of urgency the Imo state Governor has a statutory responsibility to protect the lives and properties of the citizens resident in his state. The Governor should immediately call for the arrest of the men behind the parading of these men, and all other accomplices around the area (including those videoing and onlookers). They should be charged to court for violation of the rights of other citizens, this will serve as a deterrent to others.

If you find somebody breaking the law of the land, please report the matter to the appropriate authorities. Do not take matters into your own hands, you are not the law! We need to learn to live in a civilized society governed by law and order, and not by barbaric impulsive actions.

My 2 cents.

That list is flawed.

Till you have Universities from all the countries in Africa, South Africa especially, you cannot claim to have a credible 'Top 10 Universities in Africa list'.

My 2 cents.

Thsiis a more credible list: 2012 WORLD UNIVERSITY WEB RANKING
Top 100 Universities and Colleges in Africa http://www.4icu.org/topAfrica/ Very surprising University of Nigeria, Nsukka didn't make top 100 in Africa while you have Unilag, Uni-Illorin, Ife, UI, UniBen, UniPort, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ahmadu Bello University, UniJos.

When did Uni of Agriculture Abeokuta become more prominent than the great Lions Den?? Oh well...

A day before the said night there was a car snatching operation around 8pm around New Oko-Oba. I personally left left my car and fled on foot with other by-standers. Only to hear from a friend the next morning that she couldn't sleep all night as there was continuous and sporadic gun fire between 1am - 3am.

Sad to hear that 2 policemen lost their lives that night.

May God protect us all. The cases of murder, robbing, rape etc is at an all time high in Nigeria.

Today is New Oko-Oba tomorrow it could be in your hood.

See? The difference is clear.

Fact is, Mr ''Theblessed'', far from being 'blessed', you're little more than a semi-literate internet troll who requires education in what Nigeria is about and how far she has come. You should wake up every morning and thank me for bringing much needed education into your dull head.
I am one of those silent readers of nairaland, read a lot but rarely comment. I'm sure there are many of us out there. This time I feel compelled to say something.

I would like to commend ROSSIKE, for taking the time and pains to educate and enlighten people of the positive/beautiful side of Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Very inspiring write up and pictures, good stuff. The western media consistently paints us in bad light and we have to match their actions by showcasing the good side of Africa. Charity begins at home, and one must learn to love and develop what you have, nobody else will do it for you.

In addition, ROSSIKE, your doing a great job by responding to all the negativity thrown at you with facts and figures. Unfortunately, the people you appear to be having the debate lack facts, pictures, data to back up their arguments. Instead their arguments are backed up by mere sentiments and personal experience(s) of a few people. Hardly convincing.

However, I would like to appeal to you not to stoop to their level of indulging in unnecessary profanity. You need to show your not on their level, that way your arguments will sink in deeper.

Having lived and worked in London for years, I'm very happy to come back home (Lagos) to contribute my quota in developing Nigeria, in my own little way. Yes, some roads are bad. Yes, power supply is erratic. Yes, some parts may not the safest place to live. But, progress is being made. The whole world acknowledges we are making progress, and we shall continue to make progress. its a journey with no final destination, even America continuously improves on their achievement.

You will always be second best and have limited growth/business opportunities in another man's land, always.

At the end of the day majority of my fiends in the UK want to come back home, many of us here are doing better than them over there. They take better pics on facebook that's all. lol

Please for all those that don't know what a coup is or what it can cause please refer to Nigeria's 1967 - 1970 civil war. Nigeria lost about 200,000 Nigerians and 1,000,000 million 'Biafrans' (mostly women and children) during the war.

A coup is certainly not the best way to go. The Military are better geared to defend the country not rule or govern it.

Nigeria as a nation is still suffering the effect of its bloody civil war. The NYSC was instituted after the civil in attempt to foster national unity.

Excerpts from NYSC website: ''The ultimate objective of the NYSC Scheme is to achieve national unity through mobihisation of the Youths of this country for service in the N'YSC Scheme. Corps members are to be exposed to life in other parts of the country and to learn at first hand the many similarities anddiversities of culture and traditions of the various ethnic groups in the country with a view to eliminating any inherent prejudices etc. Corps members therefore have no choice as to where they would like to serve.Corp Members are discouraged from lobbying for choice stations.''

Please please and please do not wish for what you no little about.

Revolution sounds good till its your father, mother, brother or sister that's dragged out of the house and shot or raped and then shot!

ComputersRe: Rate The Fastest And Most Reliable ISPs In Nigeria by Demoore(m): 9:44am On Oct 20, 2011
I think its best if u guys use an independent internet speed anaylst like ww.speedtest.net

Speedtest.net is a free broadband connection analysis website founded by Ookla Net Metrics in 2006

I used it to test my sky broadband in London n this was  the result (result below: upload speed - 0.94Mbs, Download - 10.67Mbs). I think its fairly accurate.

Its better to use an independent network analyst than the company's own.

Enjoy!
