When will this Turkish version of the war begin? please I haven't seen raw war action on CNN for a very long time. the USA war is getting monotonous. we need a new player jare. I can't wait. bought a new microwave for the popcorn. |
Those people wey never commot themselves from British Iperialism after more than one thousand years still get mouth to talk abi? make dem never begin plan how the future generations of their descendants will gain freedom from England. |
Cigarette smoking is dangerous alright, but it definitely is not addictive. all those so-called addicts are just liars trying to canvas their weakness. You can stop smoking when you want and restart whenever you want. |
Abeg let him be executed as soon as possible. has he not even been executed yet? 19 years make a responsible adult. He must die O! |
You guys take this George Bush man too seriously. Somebody that claimed that more and more of America's imports are coming form abroad. Where the hell else is import supposed to come from? @almondjoy Please correct yourself. Even though George Bush was born in the US, that didn't make him more articulate than OBJ. The man is just too dull. |
Abeg make una leave Cigar matter alone. Na una mouth we dey use smoke am? I persoally would suggest thst the government should make it illegal for smokers to smoke cigarretes in public places where there is the presence of minors, especially children. Also, movies, magazines and other media showing people smoking should have very strict ratings for adults only. |
na Oprah get her mouth. If she like, make she use am chop shit. |
@angel101 where've you been at? Abi you been ban yourself temporarily. |
@FSU and whatever other ID you hide behind If you have no better evidence to support your argument than trying to ridicule posters' profile photo, then you have just proven yourself as slowpoke first class. If you're waiting for me to come distribute stolen wealth to you before you and your kids can afford the next meal, I advise you to better continue wait for the next whale to wash up in Jigawa state before that day would come. Your imbecillic posts display your colours as you continue to laugh out loud meaninglessly like the jackass that you are known to be in your locality. |
I-man please help me tell them. I don't know why Nigerians have a one track mind. Everything, it's Government. The man Opa Williams who started the Night Of A Thousand Laughs, he never recieved any encouragement from Government, but he has created enormous income for young individuals all over the country and a lot of associated industries in entertainment have enjoyed great earnings from his innovation. No Government encouragement. Some young lads once went to Pfizer to beg for a lab with which they wanted to develope a drug that would treat Low Blood Pressure. When they were at the test stage of the drug and were administering it to male subjects, they noticed that about 95% of the subjects had an erection which lasted for hours. Welcome the birth of VIAGRA, one of the highest and fastest selling drugs in history. So where is the Government support and encouragement? Well, I said it earlier that I was working on my own thing. I'm developing a new satellite pay-per-view TV system we've just past the drawing board and are putting equipment and developing the software, but already, the draft proposals to hiTV, Silverbird and DISC Communications have already been prepared so that when we conclude the test phase and everything is running perfectly, we can then send out our proposals and work with the highest bidder to take our invention as final product to the consumers. It has never occurred to me a single day to contact Government and seek encouragement. Never. It has never even occurred to me to contact NTA because considering their budget limitations and bureaucracy, it'll take forever. So I really don't know how people keep holding on to this mentality of Government, Government, Government. Please you guys should get real. |
RUBBISH! Cigarette butts and DNA in this kind of inferno? It's like looking for a hydrogen atom in haystack. If they are so technologically advanced, they should have put off the fire a long time ago. The same thing happened in Greece when their incapacity was becoming an international embarrassment, they blame terrorists. |
Hmmm, Cute. |
Well, thank God. If he conducts himself properly he could get something permanent. If he doesn't, or goes on anti-Government rallies or continues uttering treasonable statements he may not enjoy the entire 3 months |

And please can you all absolve Abacha from any involvement in the European/Arab aggro? |
@FSU this is the kind of irritating topics people post about Nigeria and Africa from most parts of the world and they claim they've done nothing wrong. "Lol:food-hungry Lagosians Hack On Dead, Smelly Whale - Food Is Ready" If I post "Lol: desperate Californians flee homes, several lives and properties lost to bush fires", how many of you would find it funny? Bloody IDIOT! |
The British go whaling, the Japanese go whaling, we don't. We wait if a whale washes up shore, then we eat it. To a lot of people it's more of fun than anything else. Some people might have been hungry but most might have gone to take part just to say they did. Why does prince charles or Dick Cheney go hunting in the bush? Is it because they are hungry? I doubt that the Whale was rotten and smelly or else nobody would have gone a mile near it. For God sake, this is Lagos where in some areas during this season, you'll see fish swimming in your gutters. There's fish in all the waters and we don't see people stopping on their way from work or school to catch some so please. |
All these Oyibo people should stop deceiving themselves and trying to deceive others. They just like putting up a show as if they are God yet ordinary fire, they cannot put off. Now when they are completely helpless, they blame somebody to hide their incompetence. When the Greek fires were on for weeks and they couldn't do much, they started blaming arsonists. Now in the USA, they've tried and they've finally decided to blame arsonists too. They should put off the fires first and let us hear word. If the fires were to be in Lagos, they will be covering it with glee and they will link it with Government corruption and incompetence, backwardness, hunger and starvation, civil war and poverty. They should do what needs doing and bring things under control. They should seek help from Canada, Brazil and Mexico if they know they can't do it alone. But no unnecessary trading of blame that will not put of the fires. It's rubbish. And please people should not tell us how to feel when such things happen. When we had a small flooding in Lagos, Westerners were treating the issue as if they had been waiting for it eagerly. |
@Kobojunkie so because that is how the scam has been pulled for ages that means it is not wrong. Those yahoo boys, they also have a format where they tell their victims the basic amount to deposit. Does it make anything right? |
What MEND wants is undefined and remains continually varying. Yesterday they wanted Asari and Alams to be released and welcome parties to be held for them, they also wanted 30%. Today they don't want 30% anymore and they don't care about Asari and Alams. Even when they are given 100%, they will demand 120% for all the resources taken out of their community for years. Nobody knows what MEND wants. MEND, they don't know what exactly they want so how can it be given to them. The only thing I know for sure is that they like to terrorise. |
Nothing more to say on this thread. |
@almondjoy & laudate the reason why I can wholeheartedly support the Igbo jeep and not the Hausa helicopter is because the former went into the private sector to realise their dream while the latter is seeking "government encouragement". colonel Oviemo Ovadje took his intention to the private sector rather than waiting for "government encouragement". Simi Belo is getting offers of development deals with private companies. She didn't seek "government encouragement". I followed Muhammed Abbah's product because even when I was a kid in Northern Nigeria, that is what we used in cooling water sometimes. Is he seeking "government encouragement"? @boske I believe anybody who is intelligent enough to invent something or create a prototype should have the common sense of knowing how to realise their dream. Even in America, is it the Government that is encouraging these people financially or they are going to corporations that have use for their inventions? The other time, one clown said he had invented an anti-rigging device, then another invented HIV Vaccine and cure. These sound wonderful but are you telling me there is no pharmaceutical company that would be interested developing the cure for HIV and its vaccine? No DANA? No Neimeth? No May & Baker? No GlaxoSmithKline? No Emzor? It is the search for Government Encouragement that is annoying me. Use your inventive brain to invent a way to make your dream real and stop looking for a way to dip your hand into the imaginary National Cake. That is all I ask. Igbo keep did not seek Government Encouragement, so neither should Hausa Helicopter. |
Can we not think anything about it please? This thread stinks. Why should we keep tabs on the man's birthday. A lot of people are just trying to make this man more relevant than he actually is. |
The death of Abacha was arranged and executed by the USA using Abdulsalam. Just about 2 months before the death of Abacha, Abdulsalam was in the USA for some kind of military training despite the fact that at that period, there was a ban on entry of top Nigerian Government officials travelling to the USA and other western countries. General Abdulsalam was a top military officer and also the head of the Provisional Ruling Council. What was he doing in the USA? Did he dress as a woman to get there? Then just months after his arrival, Abacha died of cardiac arrest related to viagra overdose. Then months after that Abiola died as a result of drinking tea with foreign diplomats. Abeg I no fit shout! And I'm not interested in turning this into a Pope vs Grand Mufti vs Jews For Hitler argument. |
If we can enslave Europe and America for 300 years, then colonise them for 70 years, siphoning their human and natural resources, we would have been some kind of different. |
You people should leave OBJ alone. If he had succeeded in 3rd term, we would have been crying. Now he's left us and we don't want to leave him alone. |
The man should take his ingenuity to DICON or somewhere or some organization that will benefit from his work and they will develope it with him. You people should stop crying for government to misuse our money. Do you know how many people invent stuff in the USA everyday? They take them to large corporations like General Electric. Please leave government alone. Which kain people be all this self? |
you forgot Peter Obi. |
@davidylan please what is the name of the argument you want to draw me into now? I don't know about any kids being used to clear landmines anywhere in the world and I honestly do not care because there is so much going on in the world right now. I'm trying to limit my circle of concern to my circle of influence. More deployment of landmine clearing armoured vehicles. End of story! |
Na so doctor Abalaka begin talk say e don cure AIDS, e don intent AIDS vaccine, make Government pump in cash. All these things are for the private sector if truly it is a viable project. |
