Foreign AffairsRe: Iran's Nuclear Program Peaceful - United States Intelligence by denex: 1:25pm On Dec 04, 2007
Hmmm, I-man the Great. He twists, he turns, he takes out all the sense in topic and watches it burn.
Foreign AffairsRe: Iran's Nuclear Program Peaceful - United States Intelligence by denex: 12:29pm On Dec 04, 2007
@texaspete,

I think our concern and focus should be more on the USA and why that have consistently and passionately pursue the manufacture of weapons that can wipe out more than a quarter of the world's population.
Christianity EtcRe: God Said Nigeria Will Be The Greatest Nation In The World - Adeboye by denex: 12:25pm On Dec 04, 2007
It is either Pastor Adeboye is lying or he's saying that God is lying or maybe he's accusing God of trying to use him to lie. But one way or the other, someone is telling a bloody lie.
Foreign AffairsRe: Iran's Nuclear Program Peaceful - United States Intelligence by denex: 12:07pm On Dec 04, 2007
I think right now, it is too late for the USA to stop lying. They've lied so much that the truth would just ruin their broth.

There was a time in 2002/2003 when they fingered Nigeria in the Nuclear bruhaha after OBJ refused to support the war on Iraq.

So let the lies roll on. Is Jamaica not producing Biological weapons of mass destruction? Or perhaps there are large bunkers in Dubai housing thousands of nuclear warheads. I think next may just be Swaziland accused of selling Nuclear secrets.
PoliticsRe: Was Colonialism Good For Africa? by denex: 5:36am On Dec 04, 2007
@D-reloaded,

It's amazing the way you just think backwards. So you want Kingsway Mall back? There's Shoprite, there's the Silverbird Galleria, there's Mega Plaza, Park n Shop and many other sustainable shopping centres. Was Kingsway Mall better than them. Please, my friend, stop living in history and face reality.

Kingsway Mall was not selling what we needed. They were selling what the white slavemasters felt we needed. As long as the slavemasters remained, we continued to pretentiously file into Kingsway to make big fools out of ourselves but as soon as they left, everybody face market. That's what happened. Kingsway Mall could not meet up with the change and so they folded up. Anybody trying to bring Kingsway Mall back without a solid plan will certainly fail too. So please let's face reality and stop living in the past.
PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Transfer Of Bakassi To Cameroun by denex: 3:41pm On Dec 03, 2007
So let them do just that and leave us alone. Let them stop killing Camerounians in the Name of Nigeria. It has been proven round the world that Bakassi is not part of Nigeria. If they want to become part of Nigeria, then they should first secede from Cameroun, after that, they can come and by the form to register as a potential future part of Nigeria. The form costs just $2billion. Then after that, they must swear an affidavit that they will never engage in any terrorist activity or form any separatist group.

By the way, screening will take another 10 years.

@na.com

what is your issue? Pastor prophesied and I raised my doubts, because of that, you start raining insults on me. Why?

I only did my own bit of prophesying and instead of you either agreeing or ignoring you decide to start with insults. It is your pastor's children that will have stunted growth for all the lies he has been using to rip off Nigerians over the decades.

"Nigeria will be the Greatest Nation on Earth."

-God.

In fact, that Pastor is demented. Is God a Nigerian abi God did not see any better country in this world which is already working very hard to be the greatest. Please, it's about time we chased these minions back to hell with all their demonic prophesies that always become realised in the opposite.

Well, considering the fact that Adeboye's God (Jehovah) is not a Nigerian, I wonder why he just keeps routing for us. It's just amazing.

Or it could be that Pastor worships a Nigerian God like Shango or Ogun or even Goddess like Yemoja or Osun, then perhaps I would understand why they would want Nigeria to be the greatest nation; because they are Nigerians. But Jehovah, I can't understand why he'd want us to be the greatest nation on earth what's in it for him?
PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Transfer Of Bakassi To Cameroun by denex: 10:41am On Dec 03, 2007
@ono & willy

so this has become another tribal thing which will be based on mixed blood or full Niger-Deltan.

We are talking Nigeria, Cameroun and Bakassi some clowns come in with tribal segregation again. Very soon, you will say it is because the Judges and Counsel at the ICJ were not full blooded Niger-Deltans, that's why we lost the ruling.

Chicken-brained imps.
PoliticsRe: Where Is Lucky Igbinedion???? by denex: 10:31am On Dec 03, 2007
Well, I'm in Benin right now and I really feel very sorry for these people. Look at Ihama Road in GRA. Completely worn out.

Ring Road, no improvement. The only major change in Benin was facilitated by the private sector: Night Clubs, Eateries, Banks, Hotels.

The only thing I've seen Lucky do was to move that delapidated overhead bridge from the front of UBTH to the front of UNIBEN Maingate. This of course being another fool's errand.

Lucky will definitely die.
PoliticsRe: Dual Citizenship by denex: 10:05am On Dec 03, 2007
In reality of things, you're not supposed to have dual citizenship. It really doesn't make sense so it's about time we renew our constitution.
PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Transfer Of Bakassi To Cameroun by denex: 5:44pm On Dec 02, 2007
Well, if the people want to decide which country to belong to, then they should go to the ICJ. The Nigerian Government can support them financially. If they win the case to joini Nigeria in the ICJ, then Nigeria can come in if Cameroun won't let go. That's the best we can do.

I wonder why people will be killing to be a part of Nigeria when others are killing to break off. Please they should just go with Cameroun or form their own Republic of Bakassi and stop using Nigeria's name to kill people up and down.

When we accept them tomorrow, they will start shouting marginalization. Please, we have enough people already.
PoliticsRe: Dual Citizenship by denex: 5:33pm On Dec 02, 2007
I really don't know why this dual citizenship thing exists. I don't know how one human being can claim to be a citizen of more than one country at any given time.

Does it also mean that if one has 2 parents who both have dual citizenship, thus grandparents from 4 different countries, does that now mean such a person will have quadruple citizenship? Please, someone should help me clear this.

PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Transfer Of Bakassi To Cameroun by denex: 5:01pm On Dec 02, 2007
Let us be honest with ourselves and stop looking at issues with only our left eye.

The Germans and the English were the ones who carved the Nigerian and Camerounian borders respectively. The Germans have declared that according to their maps, Bakassi belonged to Cameroun. The British have declared that according to their maps, Bakassi did not belong to Nigeria. The French who took over administration of Cameroun from Germany have declared that Bakassi belongs to Cameroun. Besides that, the Nigerian Government bargained with Cameroun in a deal which would have seen Nigeria give up all claim on Bakassi. Finally we have an ICJ ruling that has put the matter at rest. What else do we want to hear? Must an angel come down and point at the map for us? Please all this rubbish war-mongering should stop.
Christianity EtcRe: God Said Nigeria Will Be The Greatest Nation In The World - Adeboye by denex: 11:43am On Dec 01, 2007
I don't know about all this O! Nigeria will definitely be among the 10 greatest nations in the world including Brazil, India, Russia, the USA, Japan, China and Germany. But I don't know about this prophecy. I really do not know.

PoliticsRe: Stop Praying, Fight For Your Rights: Archbishop Tells Nigerians by denex: 11:36am On Nov 30, 2007
You say the elections were rigged. So since the candidate who rigged is being called on for disqualification, then who will now be the true winner of the elections? Atiku, Buhari or Okotie?

At least in Anambra, when Ngige rigged and was later disqualified, Peter Obi was declared as the true winner. In different states recently, we have seen the same thing.

So according to you claiming that Yar'Adua and the PDP rigged, please tell us the rightful winner of the April 2007 Presidential Poll.

Or are you actually trying to suggest that all the contestants rigged?
PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Transfer Of Bakassi To Cameroun by denex: 11:28am On Nov 30, 2007
Some people are trying to use big, big words like Ramification and Ratification to beat the drums of war. May God punish them all. Our president is our representative and whatever he says or does while holding that office is seen as an action by us all.

Why will people call on us to disobey an ICJ ruling simply because some rogue states have decided to use war as their only means of international diplomacy?

Nigeria would have not gone to the ICJ if we did not intend to obey the ruling. Would we have called for the ruling to be disobeyed if it was in our favour?

WE WILL NOT EIGHT A WAR THAT WAS SCRIPTED IN EUROPE HALF A DECADE AGO!!!
PoliticsRe: Stop Praying, Fight For Your Rights: Archbishop Tells Nigerians by denex: 11:18am On Nov 30, 2007
Ode!

Why don't you guys call on the true winner of the elections to come and take his true place as President. Is it Atiku, Buhari, or Chris Okotie? Call on the person to come and take over the mantle of leadership. I'm tired of hearing this same stupid tale every single day. At least if Yar'Adua didn't really win the elections, then definitely, someone else did. WHO IS IThuh!!!!
PoliticsRe: Solution To The Continuous Increase In Petroleum Pump Price? by denex: 7:49pm On Nov 29, 2007
Solutions are for problems. The continuous rise in petroleum prices is not a problem. It's an attempt to reach market price, so in other words, it's a solution on its own.
PoliticsRe: Should Nigeria Cede Bakassi To Cameroon? by denex: 7:23pm On Nov 29, 2007

"now that Nigeria has ceded Bakassi to Cameroun, what next?"

HealthRe: Hiv Cure by denex: 8:47pm On Nov 26, 2007
Thank you jare Kobojunkie. I have never seen someone who created a new cuisine and went to newspapers to blame government and non-believers. They usually go to restaurants or open eateries to sell what they have. I wonder why HIV curers should be any different.
PoliticsRe: End Of US-dollars? by denex: 7:49pm On Nov 23, 2007
Well, thank God the only good we export to the USA is crude oil which is an essential commodity that no matter how high the price goes, they must buy.

Our main concern is to stop using an unstable and depreciating currency to trade internationally.
PoliticsRe: Government Rejects US Military Base In Nigeria by denex: 7:42pm On Nov 23, 2007
Ha kobojunkie, take it easy. Communism is not the opposite of Democracy. Communism is only different from Capitalism. Communism or Socialism does not equal Dictatorship. Don't let all the vocabulary confuse your brain.

And I-man, please the Chinese elect their leaders into the Communist Party and the highest ranking official in the party becomes President.

I thought there was a system in the UK too where the masses elect people into a party and the highest ranking official in that party becomes Prime Minister. Is that not how Gordon Brown became PM? Or is the UK running a dictatorship too.
PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Transfer Of Bakassi To Cameroun by denex: 7:28pm On Nov 23, 2007
You people that are using "agbari" to claim that Cameroun is weak should wake up and realise that in the 1980s 2 thermonuclear devices were tested by Cameroun in association with other foreign governments.

Cameroun is a mirage so I advise you people to think thrice before declaring any hostile intentions.

While the Bakassi issue was at the ICJ, France and Cameroun had prepared for war during which time Nigeria was just carrying on as usual.

Even without the ICJ ruling, I would expect Nigeria for once in the history of Africa to show some maturity in avoiding conflict.
PoliticsRe: Can Someone Tell Me What Determines Crude Oil Prices by denex: 12:46pm On Nov 23, 2007
Basically, it's mainly demand. How many people want to pay for how much quantity. If there are many people willing to buy a large quantity of crude, every other thing remaining unchanged, price will rise. If the number of buyers and the quantity demanded reduces, price will fall.

Then there is supply: even when the same number of people willing to buy crude remain the same, if supply changes, there will be a change in crude price too. If supply increases, there will be a drop in price, and if supply reduces, there will be a rise in price.

Then there are other factors mostly to do with forecasting. They are several.
