POWER PASS POWER! Some people think say na that first fight wey everybody use ordinary hand. Them no know say men don go shrine go cook themselves well, enough babalawo don arrange "one blow, seven die" ring for dem to wear for their index finger. Correct! I'm loving democracy. |
The USA is not a Christian country and they only swear people into Congress using the Holy Bible. Okay. Britain was throwing depleted Uranium all over Afghanistan. Is that a muslim country misusing nuclear technology again? I have not heard India or Pakistan threaten each other with Nuclear weapons. In fact, the only two countries that that have openly threatened the use of nuclear weapons on human being this year are "secular" USA, and perhaps Islamic Israel. |
Well several countries whose populations are predominantly muslim are utilising nuclear technology already. In fact one has confirmed nuclear weapons yet they have not used it on anyone yet. It is the Christian countries that keep attacking people with Nuclear Bombs and Depleted Uranium. So remind me. Who exactly is the bad guy here? |
Resignation is a thing of personal choice in the face of pressure. But the woman has made it excessively clear that she will not resign. Now the the second option is for those who employed her to sack her. The electorate from her constituency have the right to re-call her. Nobody else can. Not even Yar'Adua. If my employer is too scared or just doesn't have the power to sack me, why should I give him the pleasure of quitting? @Bibiking1 leave all these people they don't know that the only people that can bring change is the electorate. Let us suffer if we cannot effect change. |
See, these guys have done the right thing. You can't just say "I'm Bill Clinton or Bill Gates, stamp my passport." This is what Nigeria has been accused of severally. Subverting procedure and due process. And now, people are getting angry because we refuse to continue that way or because they find out it's not really as bad as they assume. The immigration service was just observing protocol and I'm sure they didn't consider any bias in handling this case. They were not intentionally trying to spite mr Gates. In fact, I doubt if they knew exactly who he was. So this is definitely not a plot to embarrass Bill Gates. |
@chidichris I really don't see any need answering your questions because in doing so, I would have to use some complex analogy which from carefully reading your last post, I doubt if you'd understand. On the other hand, maybe I should try one. The population of China is almost 1,300,000,000 (1.3 billion) and earns $10 trillion annually. France has a population of about 60,000,000 (60 million) and earns $2 trillion annually. The french are 5 times better off than the Chinese in terms of welfare, infrastructure, Education, road network, communications, electricity, healthcare. The average amount of money accruing to each French citizen annually is 40,000. That is five times more than the 8,000 accruing to the average Chinese. Yet if you remember, we already said the whole of China annually earns 5 times more than France, so how come the french are living 5 times better than the Chinese? Could it be because of the 1.3 billion population? Well, it's not just population, it is population density. Take the amount of land and resources, then divide by the population or should I say the number of people. That is why a lot of Abiola's children suffer while Fela's children are doing well. Back to the Iraq War, it hasn't ended yet so we can't really be certain about the results. Things could turn around. |
My own contention is that the USA government has been realized to be a factory of fallacies. They haven't spoken any truth since their civil war. Why should we just assume they are now telling the truth for some inexplicable reason? Why should we take sides in a fight which we have nothing to gain or lose. The people who are calling on Yar'Adua to avoid Ahmedinejad are the hypocrites because they did not in the same vein say that Yar'Adua should avoid Bush. Afterall Bush is the crazier, the stupider and the more dangerous of the two. |
@debosky Iran poses a danger to overall regional stability. How can we look away from the USA that is constantly posing a danger to overall world stability and face a country that poses a danger to regional stability. With all the evidence collected so far, even far less than those that proved Iraqi WMDs. Did you say expansionist? I keep telling you to stop listening to enemy propaganda. Where did the man expand to? Please analyse things properly. Did he invade Kuwait or even Iraq? How dare you even tell me to ask Iraqis about their level of discomfort with Iran. Discomfort? When they are busy thinking of when they will get raped or murdered by American GIs or the Al Qaeda that the USA brought to Iraq? Do you really think the Iraqis have the luxury of being uncomfortable about Iran right now? Then you go on about a puppet president. How about a President who is serving daddy in the white house, a president who is a yes-man to his vice president. Then finally, do you not think it is treasonable for a serving president to be pro any national interest besides his? Do you think the American citizenry would sit quiet if they heard George Bush was pro-East? It is suggested that presidents keep their religious beliefs their own personal business once they get into government. So why should a president be expected to be pro a region outside his country. It is this lack of adequate understanding of governance and politics that is making people become alarmed that Yar'Adua has not automatically made the USA's enemy our enemy. @davidylan ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN? |
My brother, the thing shock me. Zimbabwe is 6 places ahead of Nigeria in terms of good governance, yet more people want to escape from Zimbabwe to Nigeria. Maybe they are actually fleeing the good governance. Professor go dey write imbecillic theory as if the whole world is now a kindergarten. |
I believe there are black people too. To me, anybody who has a black heart, engages in black magic or any of the black arts, I refer to them as black people. For the "black" woman whom you saw at WalMart, you should try pouring black paint on her body. If it stains, then her skin is not black. You don't know about all them caucasian-looking Fulanis? Abacha's wife is one. They have very yellow skin like the Chinese and have naturally straight hair. But it's not all Fulanis. |
Please, you should all reject being referred to as BLACK. It is a term used to refer to us as evil, savage, impure, backward and inferior. Just a close look at your skin, you will realise that they didn't use that word to refer to your skin colour because no human being has black skin. I realised the nature of this demonic name when I was told the proper word to use in describing Africans with skin colour almost caucasian was "FAIR". I asked them, "is fair a skin colour?" I'd never heard of the colour "fair". Who would I see yellow skinned Africans and call them fair? Why would I see brown and chocolate skinned Africans and call them black or dark? The real meaning of the word fair is to indicate that something is not really good, and at the same time, it's not too bad. That is what fair means. Manageable. So if they call the Fulani fair because their skin colour was nearly caucasian, then we that are not fair are either good or bad. Hence the word black. And since we are bad, excuse me, black, then they at the other extreme are white or should we say good. |
@uspry1 of course all Africans and people of African descent should come back. Do you know I'm helping a biochemist friend of mine research diseases and poor health conditions among Africans in temperate regions? Prolonged absence from temperate sunshine exposes vitamin D deficiency. The result of this is weak bones and teeth, generally aggressive behaviour, depression and a couple of other conditions. We hope one day the realise they have to come back. But what I don't support is people begging them to return. It is for their own good! |
People don't understand politics. The USA paints Iran black, Iran paints the USA black. We cannot join a non-profit camp without knowing who's wrong or right. The fact that the USA has a louder voice and persuasive skills doesn't mean they are telling the truth. And the fact that Ahmedinejad is so passionate doesn't mean he's telling the truth. So a good politician stays in the middle and avoids making unnecessary enemies unless there's something to gain. What is there to gain by joining camp USA? |
@davidylan if you do not listen to him, then you cannot claim to accurately know what he said. My people in Benin used to say "who no go no know". |
@aisha2 I'm getting much better quite fast. I'm beginning to grab things with my left hand and I take a morning stroll to strengthen my knee. @Somze 'twas you who suggested that Oprah may be trying to teach me a lesson. I only remembered that there was a year she taught USA cattle farmers an unforgettable lesson. I started a thread about the Polio vaccine to express my fears and show what I've found out about it [The Hausas, The Politics of the Polio Vaccine, and the Monkey in us All. Majority of People living in the Northern States of Nigeria have for long rejected the Polio Vaccines being touted by the UNICEF and WHO. This seemed totally outrageous and very backward, but in fact, it was not the first time such a thing would happen and this is not the first place either. It started in the "developed world" more than fifty years ago from the US to Canada and Europe to Asia. Let's examine their fears and concerns and if they were confirmed. http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2004/mar/04031101.html http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2006%5C11%5C19%5Cstory_19-11-2006_pg7_14 http://www.planetc1.com/search/polio-vaccine-and-links-to-cancer-in-humans.html?PHPSESSID=0a9bf8b89c865347daa4847ad8ee07c3 http://www.iom.edu/CMS/3793/4705/6696/7341.aspx http://www.vaccinetruth.org/page_13.htm http://www.sv40foundation.org/ Cancer, AIDS and general monkiness: http://omega.twoday.net/stories/1011360/ The Nigerian Polio Vaccine: http://news.biafranigeriaworld.com/archive/2003/dec/13/0066.html Tetanus vaccine: http://www.thinktwice.com/birthcon.htm philipines Tetanus vaccine: http://www.whale.to/m/sterile.html Poison stories: http://poisonevercure.150m.com/population_control.htm In the most recent population census, the northern states of Nigeria are seen to have made considerable gains in their populations in comparison with the Southern states. Could we be seeing the effect of the massive success of the vaccination in the South? Kick Polio out of Africa my foot! More like KICK AFRICA OUT OF THE WORLD!!! Everyday, we see women in the Southern part of Nigeria seeking various channels to Childbirth. Why the recent rush? Please let us examine this uneducated act by the Northern Mullahs to boycott this Polio Vaccination and if it has any scientific backing.] at that point when I started the the thread, most people said I was mad. Today, it has been undisputed realised that the vaccine used in Nigeria actually causes Polio in healthy children and has done so in several cases. Yet they are still trying to shift the blame and convince us that we need to take more of that poison in order to get better. news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7037462.stm www.lifesite.net/ldn/2004/mar/04031101.html www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/02/22/health/main601564.shtml www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21149823/ www.iht.com/articles/2007/10/11/healthscience/polio.php |
Wow! Took y'all just a few minutes to change an Iraqi thread to "Nigeria must develop". Well, first I must say the Iraqi war was engineered to create contracts for large corporations of the USA. This was made clear when George Bush told Russia and France that since they would not support the war on Iraq, they would not get any re-construction contracts (this was said before the war started). In general Halliburton won, Tony Blair lost because he didn't have any personal company that would take advantage of the money spinning war. He didn't even know what the war was about till too late. For those comparing Dubai to Nigeria, make una take am easy. Dubai is just a city perhaps smaller than Abuja with outstanding crude oil resources for it's size an population. Dubai is a city in one of the United Arab Emirates. The United Arab Emirates comprise 7 different former Nation States which later came together. The Population of the UAE is 3.1 million. About the population of Ikeja. So even if they had 5 percent the natural resources of Nigeria, they would fare far, far better. |
There is a slowpoke on this thread that is trying to convince people of the veracity of this Havard research that Zimbabwe is better governed than Nigeria. One may want to realise that a lot of Nigerians that were lecturing in Zimbabwe have now run back to Nigeria, and a lot of white farmers previously in Zimbabwe have now run down to Nigeria too. Is that not defying the laws of Nature? For people to be fleeing a better governed nation to a less governed one. Perhaps, with this their statistics in comparison to the actual occurrence on ground, people will soon be fleeing Europe en masse to Myanmar. |
There is major crackdown on illegal immigrant in France and some other parts of Europe. There is a crack down on all immigrants in Switzerland whether legal or illegal, as long as you're not from a wealthy nation, you'll be out at your first mistake. I don't believe this is all happening par chance, I'm sure there's a concerted effort. Things must change. |
Somze, are you trying to add that Oprah is a witch too. Anyway, it's believable. There is a year she caused a recession in the agricultural sector. @aisha2 I guess I'll see you some more now. Okay enough of the pleasantries before they ban me. Looking forward to a new thread by you. Meanwhile, my story about the dangers of the polio vaccine, did it check out or what. Is it not now causing the Polio itself? |
@davidylan I enquire of an issue which seemeth obvious yet doth not be so. So I ask again, DAVIDYLAN, ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN? By the way, YOU ALL KNOW AHMEDINEJAD HAS A RIGHT TO BUILD NUCLEAR WEAPONS? Who are you all that know this? Even Ahmedinejad knows he doesn't have the right to build nuclear weapons, and that is why he is not doing it, and that is why he is making it clear to the world that he is not doing it. davidylan, I think you should listen to Ahmedinejad more. You keep looking at translations from the USA and Israel who will help us translate "Develope Nuclear Technology" to "Build Nuclear Weapons". The man does not intend to build NUCLEAR WEAPONS and he has continually denied any association to Nuclear Weapons. There are several thousand beneficial Nuclear Technologies apart from nuclear weapons, electricity, medicine, petroleum and even agriculture. It is those other Nuclear Technologies they want to develop and research on. So davidylan, don't let Ahmedinejad hear it from you that he has a right to build Nuclear Weapons. @I-man the Israeli Prime Minister and the Zionists believe that they can effect the first coming of the Messiah by seizing lands all over the middle east. They first said it was when the entire land of Jerusalem was in the hands of the Jews, now they've captured that and even far more. Yet nothing. Then last year they faced Lebanon. Believing that God promised to hand over Lebanon to them in the old testament (kidnapped soldiers my foot!). So maybe it was because they had not gone to claim the land, that is why infant Jesus is not yet born. WHAT THE HELL HAS REAL ESTATE GOT TO DO WITH THE MESSIAH? Any world leader who believes that Jesus has not yet been born because of inadequate landed property should be restrained in a mental institute. Even the President of Iran believes that the Messiah was born and died and will return. But the Prime Minister of Israel believes that the Messiah has not been born, and will not be born unless a large piece of landed property is acquired and developed. Mad man! The question a want to ask you Zionists is: since you believe that the Messiah is not yet born, does that mean there'll be another virgin Mary, another John the baptist, another Joseph? Interesting. |
See people, there is something wrong with that word BLACK. No matter in what context we put it, black is bad. Almost all of us here are Africans. People tend to use the term "black African" but is there really another type of African? On the continent, there are Boers (Europeans), Arabs and Africans. The only black people I know are the negative and evil people trying to drag us down. So if you still feel you're black well, good for you. But don't come near me and don't call "All Black Men & Women" to return to Africa. |
Somebody just set a date and we'll all be online (for those that really want to). Let's not deliberate over setting the date or else we may even deliberate over deliberating over setting the date. |
That's good. I think I've read that in its entirety once. But these days, everytime I try, I get carried away. |
Thanks everybody (the good, the bad and the ugly). I'm actually feeling much better. I even went out yesterday. aisha2, how've you been? Is it just me, or you've actually not been around. |
Thanks everybody (the good, the bad and the ugly). I'm actually feeling much better. I even went out yesterday. aisha2, how've you been? Is it just me, or you've actually not been around. |
@davidylan I don dey well small, small so I can boldly ask you this question. ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN? |
I would have loved this sankara guy, had I not stumbled upon a 1987 magazine some days ago where he was quoted saying he would die as president. That's crazy! Do you part and leave. |

Yeah debosky I'm doing much better now. I even attended a Black Eyed Peas concert last night. Thanks for everything. |
I reject the exodus of any group of BLACK people to Africa. A lot of you guys do not know the meaning of black that is why you still use the term anyhow. I welcome all Africans back to the motherland, but black people? Hell No! |
I hope you're happy now hope you're laughing your arse off 'cos all is fair game in love and war just wanted to let you know you won Couldn't sleep last night till the break o' dawn 'twas your face all over my wall still can't figure out where I did you wrong so I got myself up 'n' I wrote you a song Tried singing you a ballad of love for all the beautiful things you've done but a lie would rhyme sore in the pitch of my voice so I pulled pen and paper and wrote you this song Coulda talked about those funny times, the warmth we shared every cold rainy night yet there's nothing more vivid than the pain in my heart had to get my real on, 'n' I penned you this sorry one Thought I could try to put it in a rap with an upbeat vibe 'n' a hiphop kinda slang but a rhythm too fast wouldn't tell a story this sad and the story of you 'n' I wouldn't fit in freestyle Couldn't call you on the phone no more and a letter would take a bit too long maybe even months to get to your door I decided it was best I wrote you a song. |
Thanks iice. Finally, I've finished writing something new. It's called WROTE YOU A SONG. I'm posting it now. Y'all check it out and critic cos I personally am not satisfied with it at all. |
