He knows he doesnt like chewing gum, and 'excessive' makeup. Yet he goes for a woman with 'excessive' makeup. He even buys her makeup to encourage her. Then he comes here to whine like a bit*h.

IF she considers the ex a friend, then he is a friend of the family. He should be invited with his wife and kids for a family visit. Nothing should be done in secret.
I will be more concerned about new man friends my wife meets in secret on facebook than old flames.

He should trust his wife. THey both have pasts - can he truthfully say he is not in contact with ANY of his old flames? Nothing says he has to be cheating with ex gfs and vice versa. The problem here is insecurity and lack of trust. He is just saying he can't beat his chest that his wife will not leave him for her ex bf. That in turn shows the ex is a much better man than he is - at least by her standards.

Don't worry about it. When you meet the right lady, being with her will be more interesting than the chase. I have been with the same lady for over two years, and it still feels as good as new. This is after countless short term rlationships. You don't worry about cheating cos she will be good enought to take your mind off most women. For the rest, it wil your personal strength that wil help you overcome cheating.

They may also have been old friends from the past. Be careful you do not overreact cos she may not be cheating. Who knows, she may want to let them know how good she's having it now.

Unfortunately, you are already married. So carry and enjoy your cross. What happens to accepting people for who they are? You have admitted she hasn't changed. You met her like that, and she was good enough for you to date, and then marry. If you admit the truth to yourself, you will find that it is the control freak in you that is coming out instead of tackling what the real underlying issue is.
She did not lie to you or decieve you in marriage. Now you feel you can change her just on a whim?
FYI I hate heavy makeup and I can't stand chewing gum. But I do not go dating women who do any of that. I like long hair and hate wigs so I date women with long hair. I still do not let go of my values. Kapish.

The first time they met, she was walking on the street with heavy makeup and chewing gum like crazy. He tried his moves but she shunned him. He returned the next day with gifts of money,makeup and gum. She became convince the dude was really into accepting her just the way she is. FAst forward months after marriage, Dude is whining probably his friend(s) have made some side comments on ladies that put on makeup and eat gum. Now he feels embarrassed to call her his wife.

You dated her for a while before you married her. You saw this things in her when you first met. I get the feeling you were attracted to her make up at that time. Now you are  whining and complaining.

BTW, Its not that I haven't done the long waiting thing b4. I have waited for years for a ladies b4. I never got to close a deal in two years b4 I left naija. It only clicked after I had left, and I couldnt handle the long distance part. Got here and chased a girl for a year only to date for a 8 months.
All in all, I realise if you wait that long just to date women, it boils down to one thing - You got no game.

If a lady likes you, then she likes you. I do not have time for mind games from ladies. If she says no, or give whatever excuse, I move on to one that is interested and straightforward. All that hard to get crap don't work on me. Attraction is not a choice so I do not think I need to convince a lady to be attracted to me or date me. She is either already attracted and willing to take a gamble or she is not.

Why would you want your ex back? She is called an ex for  a reason - she couldnt cut the grade before so who says it will be different this time .
Simple principle of dating after a breakup, you do not enter another relationship till you are totally over the broken one. If you had followed that simple principle, you wouldn't be asking this question.

Sometimes you can be surrounded by many people and still feel lonely. You can even have a gf and still feel so. It's just an indication you have something deeply bothering you but you haven't reached out to someone. So do just that, reach out to someone.

Tell the first girl you like her as a friend and you value her career lots. Cos of that you prefer to stay with the second girl.

Dude on a side note, I dont know how you wait for answers from ladies for years and months at a time. Continue that system and ladies will take you for a fool.

It may be nothing and you are just overreacting. Talk to her and let her know you feel uncomfortable with it.
I once had the pix of another lady kissing me on the cheek as my fb profile. The pix was cute and it also afforded me some privacy on who I had been dating for years. Those around me and close to me of course knw who I am with. Only those who don`t know me well enough were fooled.

Within a month of two, you have been shown to be full of crap. Beauty is only skin deep and depends highly on who is assessing you. With the kind of personality you show in here, I am sure you can get a man. I just doubt you can keep one.

It's her call to make not yours. If she wants to stick with you ahead of her mum, then accept her happily.
