Forget all these hype, I even started using iPhone before I started using Samsung. They do not need to build any new operating system have you heard of android one? That's pure android without any stupid bloatware. Now it will get better because the chipset will integrate with android on a whole new level. Imagine more tighter security. And hey most skilled and professional app developers use the pixel preview their apps before making it compatible to other android phones. For example, I started responding to this page on my MacBook, went to the living room and continued on my iPhone without having to do any other thing than pick up the phone.

When i take notes on my ipad, it is already on my MacBook .

I use my ipad as a second display without having to install another software. And the MacBook cursor works on the iPad.

When i put on my phone hotspot, my ipad connects to it if there is no other hotspot Available.

When a call comes to my phone which is in the room and I am in the living room with the ipad or MacBook, i can pick the call on these devices without having to go pick on the main device as long as they all are on the same WiFi

If I buy a new phone and I put it on beside the old phone, it will automatically detect the new phone and ask if I want to use my existing phone to set it up.

I won’t start with the airpods and the Apple Watch as that is another level.

The mistake many android fans make is that they believe the iPhone camera is the outstanding thing in the apple ecosystem. The camera is one out of like 500 things. Handoff, airplay, sidecar, home, FaceTime, airdrop, privacy........the list goes on.

The new iOS 15 currently places Apple in the old Blackberry category when it comes to security. Facebook and other advert mongers are currently shitting they pants for this. It is not like baking or soap making.

First , you need to learn ‘how to learn programming’

Start with basic appreciation tutorials of the different languages.

Pick one language and learn it from A to Z.

I upgraded my Xcode to 13 some days ago and it has not been a pleasant experience.

First, it took extremely long to update ( over 12 hours despite download completing in around 2 hours)

Initial loads were ok but when i try to load a simulator, the app freezes and the fans kick in to jet mode.

I tired running in safe mode but the issue persists.

I have unfortunately decided to uninstall it and reinstall the 12.5.1 i was running prior.

I was an Android fan from inception of Android but became 'born-again' when i used an Iphone 6 some years ago. Now i am fully Apple and even learning App Dev using Apple's SDK. When you combine your iPhone with your MacBook Pro, an Apple Watch and an AirPods Pro, you will now understand what you have been missing all these years running a virus-laden windows laptop and a bloated Android that needs 3gb just to load an OS fluidly.

Apple was not against self repair before matters of Privacy became a concern. The use of third party repair kits can introduce a form of 'middle-man' attack. If third-party chinese companies can manufacture parts that can interface between the user's biometric authentication details and the private keys on the device, there is a tendency for breach.

Remember the case with Huawei where it was alleged that their systems had spyware built in.

Thats why i just sneer when i see all these Infinix and Xiaomi phones which are laden with bloatware that constantly send users' details to one funny server somewhere.

Apple products are currently one of the most 'privacy-focused' gadgets in the market today...and the game is just starting.

PS: Ask yourself this question: Why is it that all these loan apps in Nigeria focus on Androids more than on IOS?

It is simply because many of them would not pass Apple's Privacy requirements and will not work the same way they work on Android.

Apple implements a sandbox system where by Apps are prevented from gathering or modifying data stored by other apps. so your loan apps cant just steal all your contacts and messages (which they do on android).

And the irony is that Face ID is so sweet that it makes no sense to buy one without it.

For android humans, Face ID is not the same as your prehistoric face unlock. It might look like it does the same thing but it doesn’t. It is like saying Rolls Royce or Toyota.

My final conclusion. If you cannot pay the cost to maintain a lifestyle, you simply can’t afford it. If your limit na Iphone 6s, my brother dey that limit. Na same IOS15 dem dey use. Original Iphone SE still runs IOS 15 and is still very much fluid.

*dont download just any app you see. Any app you dont use at least once a month is possibly redundant
*dont click links you see on porn sites.
*treat every website trying to divert you to another website as a suspect.
*every website you visit has a tendency to track you. Clear cookies as often as possible. Use a privacy focused browser.
*Google and Facebook are not your friends.

What OP has described is simply the cost of living.

The cost of living to income ratio is relatively higher in Nigeria no doubt. Our standard of living is also lower.
