Did YOU assume he's bad?

I believe the op's intention was to show someone you "think" is a westerner or a gang member/rapper might actually be an Islamic scholar.

And yes, he's a migrant, not sure why you would think otherwise.

If he was born in the west, which i doubt, then he must have spent a significant amount of time in africa.
I saw the video long ago. I dont remember anything that could have shown him to be a migrant rather than born and bread in the west.

I did not think he is bad but I would have thought that someone with that much knowledge of reciting the quran would dress better. At least not sag.

Now he is actually confirmed to be obsessed.

He went to look out for posts just to prove silly points like there are awards for them?

Leopantro: I'm surprised people are finding this strange. this is a normal occurrence in most government owned hospitals. would you want the doctors to insist that electricity be restored before the surgery be done while the patient dies ? imagine your brother getting shot and you rush to a hospital where you are told the backup generators are not working. the next thing is "doctor, do something. you swore an oath".the doctor goes ahead to save his life with rechargable lamps because he is a humanitarian. meanwhile, unknown to anyone, your brother is HIV positive.
the Hiv part undecided

Nonso23: I quote Steve Jobs (RIP) thus
''Be a yardstick for quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected''
Anything worth doing is worth doing well!
I wonder why anyone with a chance to having it all would settle for less especially when the less is this dangerous.
IslamRe: Muslim Singles, Let Us Have A Talk by deols(op): 2:05pm On Oct 16, 2013
Esji80: Yeah ofcourse he has d right.

BUT he wl b accountabl for watever happened as a result of delaying d marriage.

The father of a lady MUST NOT delay marriage of his daughter if a proposal is received frm a man who is of sound religion and character.

As I earlier qoute d Prophet p.b.u.h said 3 thngs shldn't b delayed: 1.salat 2.burial 3.marriage...Tirmidhi

In another narration he said "when some1 wt whose religion and character you are satisfied asks for ur daughter in marriage, accede to his request.IF you do NOT do so there will be CORRUPTION & GREAT EVIL ON EARTH".. .Tirmidhi

SISTERS: U also contribute to d delay of ur marriages; d husband I want to marry must b tall n dwarf, giant n short, must be fair,wt pointed nose,an Igbo by tribe n resident of SW,must have 10 flashy jeeps etc LOL

NOBODY IS PERFECT
So if a Father sees something that could be detrimental to his daughter, does that not fall under the 'character' part.

There is a reason he is the father and he will answer for it if he gives his daughter to the wrong person.

Like I said the brother needs to prove himself good enough for his daughter, if not, the father is very right.

You should stop seeing yourselves as victims. There is nothing religious about the topic. It does not belong in the religion section. This is where threads like this are put.

The complaint thread to Seun is also here and you know it.

I liked this thread and what it could achieve. Unfortunately, it has been derailed.

I know you are shia, Op. When I read any article by a shia, I close it immediately I see the slander against other Muslims and the salafi.

Can you ever talk about Islam without that addition! You will not achieve anything if you continue like that. At least you will never get anyone like me to listen to what you have to say.

Please refrain from doing that.

The discussion on the Op can continue

Esji80: SEX IS VERY IMPORTANT D@ IT CAN LEAD TO DIVORCE as stated above by bro tbaba.

Though I agree wt U d@ there are mo in marriage. . .

D Propher p.b.u.h said "Young men, those of you who can support a wife should MARRY,for it lowers ur gaze and preserves ur chastity, but those who cannot should fast, for it is a means of cooling SEXUAL PASSION". .. Reported by al-Buhari

Not gettng married early despite d means he has can lead him to illicit sex esp if he has high sexual somethng ...waiyazubillah.

In another hadith d Prophet p.b.u.h said "those of U d@ av d means, shld MARRY n GENERATE, for I wl b proud of you on d day of recompense."

1 of d essence of marriage is procreation. . .wc can't b achieved wtout d sex we r talking abt.

IF am d 1 havng d means I can't wait fo ha 2 graduate b4 we marry.
I agree. Part of the means is having seen and known the right partner. The father of the girl still has every right over his daughter. So, he either waits for her or finds somebody else.

tbaba1234: The Islamic Divorce, a discussion from the Quran

An Islamic marriage involves three major entities,

Allah: the absolute controller of the home,

The man: subservient to Allah and ensures that the laws of Allah are followed in the home, He is the Wali (Protective friend) of his wife. His authority is within the limits set by Allah.

The Woman: Obeys the Laws of Allah and obeys her husband within the limits of the laws of Allah.

Men and women have rights towards each other and each party must strive to fulfill those rights. The first ayah we will review looks at a situation where a man fails to fulfill the rights of his wife by not fulfilling her intimate needs.

We start from Ayah 226 of Surah baqarah

Allah says:

Lillatheena yuloona min nisaihim tarabbusu arbaAAati ashhurin fain faoo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

For those who swear that they will not approach their wives, there shall be a waiting period of four months: if they go back, remember God will be most forgiving and merciful,

In this case, a man makes a oath to abstain from his wife (intimately). If he does not go back after four months, there are a few opinions of what is supposed to happen.

i. The first divorce immediately becomes active.

ii. The matter is referred to a court of law who order the man to either resume conjugal relation or divorce his wife.

iii. The wife can approach the court for divorce from the man if he does neither.

Therefore, in this case, a woman is entitled to a divorce when a man has taken a vow not to approach her out of hatred or rancour, just keeping her in a state of flux.

This is not applicable when the lack of intimacy is due to less malicious temporary reasons.

If they make a decision on divorce (first one), then Allah says in the next ayah:

Wain AAazamoo alttalaqa fainna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun

but if they are determined to divorce, remember that God hears and knows all.
Surah 2: 227

More to come in sha Allah
I am patiently waiting.

The divorce issue has always interested me. No one wants divorce, but everyone should know the exit to anywhere/thing they are in..

Lagusta: concerning private hospitals....

The NMA supposed to have a regular check on private hospitals, they must all be well equipped and up to standard!!! Not just paying annual dues....

a private hospital must have an oxygen-giving apparatus, a resuscitation kit and essential drugs..... also a standard theatre and side-lab for basic tests e.g pcv, RBS....

If these little things are in place, then we are heading somewhere!!!!
Something very vital to medical practice is a second opinion. Even a fourth wont be bad. In many of those private hospitals, there is only one consultant who does the job of a GP, an obstetrician, surgeon, etc

Many of them should be turned to Primary health care centres because the facility they have are not enough to qualify them as hospitals.

In fact if there is anything I'd want the government to do right now, it is categorising all hospitals as they should be into primary, secondary and tertiary health institutions with the public very much aware of which to choose at what time and the strenghtening and equiping of existing PHC units.

Sanguine: Now does anyone wonder why the people in the medical field are called medical practitionershuh
That's simply because they are still practicising ...with human lives, sadly! Or how else could anyone explain this?!
The problem you see above are the doctor's fault or what exactly is your point?
