Kamardiran: chai.......the eid time in my hood is 10am,kinda too late. Boys are already hungry ooooo. Anyways,barka da sallah to all my muslim peeps. Enjoy in moderation and remember d essence of d eid,a time for sober reflection.That is pretty late. We pray between 7 and 8 a.m here. People should not have to be hungry on eid day |

First meat has arrived...wow!! *friends and I jubilating* so we are away from home, away from family. We killed chikens though and cooked jollof rice. We have been sending to some of our neighbours and one of them just gave us a large chunk of meat.. This is one interesting Eid. some peeps are really having fun here. *joining in* 1 Like |

albiol: I will like to point out a simple mistake that people make while praying the eid prayer. I heard that one is meant to raise his 2 hands only for d first takbir for both the two rak'at cos u normally see people raising their hands everytime the imam says Allahu akbar. May Allah accept it as an act of ibadahOops! I already prayed and I may have done the wrong thing. But I can't remember how I did it. |

This is interesting. I just finished the prayer. Before going out, we cooked some food. But we did not eat them since we are to fast until after the prayers. Heading home to the la la cious meal |

How beautiful it is to be alive today How grateful we are for being witnesses to this Eid. How honoured for the chance to serve Allah more How blessed for the opportunity to be repentant, to seek forgiveness, to be better Muslims. May Allah accept all our prayers. Whatever his origin may be, you should not assume he is bad simply because he wears a singlet or sags his trousers. And he may have been born and bred in the west to migrant parents. That is not the issue, still. Just saying. |

Sissie: With nothing? She must have gone in with something.She goes in with her youth. A young body, mind. If he divorces her as an older woman with no source of living and with nothing- no money!! How fair is that..Seriously. when her making the home, bearing and taking care of his children are the reasons he has been having it good at work. I think Muslim women need to make choices that can benefit them when things go wrong. Islam actually allows them. Society and the pressure to be married may prevent a lot of people from asking for what they'd want. We have heard cases of men who ask their graduate wives to not work but spend every of their manly strenght abusing the women. How fair would it be for such a woman to leave the marriage pronto with no money, no self esteem, no house to go to. |

Logicboy03: My best friend is from Kuala Lumpur. The chinese in Malaysia are hardly muslims and recieve discrimination. You have the other races from south asia as well.My point is, since they are not generally Muslims, they must have words apart from Allah that they use for God. The answer is already provided, tuhan it is. But they may not use that in a bible because it represents a lesser god. |
