[s] willibounce1: Asin extremely useless country with people who behave in a totally abnormal way. They will be praising stupid and bas.tard leaders for putting more hardship on them. Everything is a welcome development to them. I have always said it. If you pay taxes regularly and you praise any governor or politician, your brain is definitely not working. Bad roads, no water, no light, no drainage, even all the nonsense Street lights they made noise about are all going off. If you sit down and calculate how much tax this useless govt take from your salary every month, you will realise that the money will do.something meaningful to your life than giving it to some bast.ards who use it for personal projects. [/s] We know you people and we are used to your hateful, bitter and angry rants. |

In Lagos, we see everyday what do with our money, but I don't think you can show us what they do with your own money in your villages. |

gberra: Funny you!. Are You're telling me this when I'm obviously balling in the corporate world.
Let me help your academic definition; When someone is suspended such an act is a Disciplinary action or process to a given end. Simply, the Individual so suspended could either be temporarily relieved of his duties, Recalled, or Dismissed as a final outcome.
On Resignation, you're spot-on. Stella Olduah was not forced to resign, she was sacked so both did not resign, one did while the other was sacked. There is a difference between the 2 which you are yet to understand. |

Suspension is involuntary, you are forced out. Resignation is voluntary, you quit on your own terms and not forced out. You obviously skipped basic elementary education. |

sanandreas: What makes u feel everyone is ipob? We used to have a port in Calabar, Warri, Sapele and Port Harcourt. If the FG can lift crude from the seas, what prevents them from siting a functional seaport? You scream ipob and there forgetting that Igbos are the one making Lagos seaport boom. The Yorubas are treacherous and the South have their own Lagos which is PH. I don't remember saying everyone is ipob. Read and comprehend carefully. And per the highlighted, that's a reflection of your ipb delusions. You beat Your porous chest all the time that you own everything and everybody is eating and breathing because you control everything, but you still cry, complain and play victim everyday. I know you've been reciting that Yoruba people are treacherous rant from birth, but what's Yoruba people got to do with your illogical rant, if you are so powerful and control everything like you love you repeat all over the place, why not just build your own port just like Lagos state is doing without waiting or sitting around for the FG to build anything for them. Lagos state is building not 1, but 2 deep seaports, the largest in Africa. All you people do is boast and boast, but at the end of the day, your boast remains empty and shallow. Btw, all the ports you mentioned are all operational and in service. |

Lagos is doing more than required by any state by shouldering the burden Nigeria and many failed states in Nigeria. Taking care of 20 million plus people with thousands entering Lagos everyday, weakening and stressing non adequate infrastructure is a huge burden and when Lagos state asked for special status, funds and recognition, Nigeria refused while many, especially ipobs jubilation even though they are they benefit from the same Lagos state.
The funds got to come from somewhere so either from Nigeria or from Lagosians and parasites. There is no free ride anywhere including Lagos.
We as a society can not have it both ways. |

Chuksonyeike: Are you fucking kidding me? Gabriel suswam has been in EFCC custody foir ove a month now without any arraignment!!!anyway 14 days is not far .We shall see how "Pastor" Yemi Osibanjo and his committe intends to spin this investigation revealed the former governor requested that shares owned by the Benue State Government be sold for N10 billion to be raised. Consequent upon that, Elixir Investment Partners was appointed as stockbrokers to carry out the sales of the shares, of which over N9 billion was realised from the sales of the shares.
The witness said the owner of Fanfash Resources, Abubakar Umar, was invited by the EFCC, Umar confirmed that he received N3.1 billion and converted same to its dollar equivalent, amounting to $15.8 million, and that he delivered it in cash to former Governor Suswam at his Maitama Residence in Abuja.
He told the court that the finance commissioner confirmed issuing directives for the payments made to Fanffash Resources and the Benue State Ministry of Finance.
He also confirmed to EFCC investigating team that he collected N370 million in cash from the the cashier of Benue State Ministry of Finance. The court adjourned till January 18 and 19 next year for cross examination of the witness and continuation of hearing.

Until i see the name of the owner of that particular flat, i still won't believe this isn't a movie script. The NIA's DG's wife bought the apartment via her own registered company, you know, one of those fraudulent sounding names that starts with so so and so Ventures Limited company which is the real fraud here. Why lodge NIA funds in an unguarded apartment bought by the wife of NIA's DG? This is more than enough reason to fire, prosecute and jail the man, his wife and co conspirators including GEJ. |

[s] nopains: u ppl are there shouting eko onibajo! nobody cares to read meanings in this painting. this woman uses her work to depict horrible situations and injustices in nigeria. she portraits how masses are in cage and chains in this country. she portraits how the nigeria federal system as currently operated depicts enslavement and anti economic and human developments. the system does not permit unleashing and maximization of state and individual potentials and resources.
the painter also used her work show how freedom of expression has been tramped upon in nigeria. there is high level brutality in the hands of law enforcement operative against citizens of nigeria. the enforcement operatives are at whims and caprices of the power that be against their perceived enemies and political opponents. this is a country where those who are vocal are hushed up or be thrown inside imprison. cowardice has become an act of patriotism and national heroism. man is born free but everywhere in chain.
at this juncture i leave it to you to guess who is the imperialist at the centre of advantage of this lopsided federal structure called nigeria. [/s] No need to dirty the thread with your negative ipob rant. |

You can not say that unless you have verifiable proof that qualified Nigerians applied for the job and were turned down. Besides, the woman is widely know for her work all over Lagos state so it's not like the job was given to an unqualified person. Again, stop making racist judgement. |

You are not a racist, but you automatically judged that she's not a Nigerian because of the color of her skin? When you make racist comments, you are basically a racist. When you initially asked if a Nigerian can not do the job, you've ignorantly and automatically concluded that she's not a Nigerian just because of the color of her skin. That was a racist conclusion and judgement. |
