Politics › Re: Why Are Nigerian Elites Afraid Of Igbo Presidency? by deomelo: 7:28pm On Jul 20, 2018
You want the presidency, but you are not strategic, all you do is play tribalism and bigotry.

You want the presidency, but you can not and won't reach out to to other regions or form needed alliances to get you to Aso Rock.

You want the presidency, but you don't have serious, capable and credible leaders to present to Nigerians for consideration.

You want the presidency, but the party you follow around like mumu care less about any ibo presidency or your region and our social and infrastructural needs.

Presidency is not something you get on a platter of gold, you have to work for it and since we all have to team up with other regions and parties to secure enough votes, you have to form alliances with the North and the SW, but you people are too tribalistic, bitter, angry, hateful and bigoted to do the right thing.

Politics › Re: Oby Ezekwesili Is A Sick, Demented Fool For Her Nigeria Air Remarks by deomelo: 5:05pm On Jul 20, 2018
Many Nigerians including the likes of Oby and frustrated and disgruntled ipobs have the poor man support mentality syndrome, they cry and yell rubbish about the poor man, but always quick and ready to attack every government program and economic move designed to help the same poor man.

Seriously, where do they thing the government source the funds and programs to help the poor man? Is it not by drumming up investments to create jobs, expand business opportunities and grow the government's IGR base for needed funds to invest in infrastructures to create more jobs and to better the the poor man and Nigerians in general?

Nigeria Air means jobs for Nigerian from pilots to hostesses, ground crew, garbage handlers, ticketing staff and agents, tour companies, catering and in flight food companies, vendors and suppliers, lawyers, accountants, advertisers, print companies, fuel suppliers, auto dealerships and ultimately all these entities paying government taxes that we all need for infrastructures and life changing benefits.

Nigerians have been bastardized and traumatized by decades of rot, corruption and incompetence that they've turned into mindless and thoughtless zombies with negative thoughts, anti Nigerian and unpatriotic state of mind.

This is the kind of rubbish we expect from ipobs, but not from people like Oby.

Obviously, Oby goofed, but instead of backtracking and altering her horrible and disgusting comments, she's doubling down, but I'm glad Nigerians are slamming her and her unfortunate, unpatriotic and anti Nigerian comments.

izombie:
actually you do give a poo. Yorubas have criticised everything about biafra. You guys called NK all sorts of names. You criticised our may 30 sit at home. Everyday you tell us 20000 ways biafra will not work.
Show us where we have or take that back as a lie.

Kanu is nothing but a nuisance, a bigot, an anti social and disruptive element with zero core value or the interest of the ibo people at heart.

There's nothing wrong with agitation or fighting for your freedom, but fighting for your freedom doesn't give you the right and liberty to insult and abuse, to spew bigotry and hate speech all over the place or promote and advocate harm and violence against Nigerians or issue terrorists threats against innocent Nigerians.

Kanu did was a bad and, destructive and agitation spokesman for the ibo people and he did more damage than good because he alienated every sympathetic voice in Nigeria.

Freedom and independence starts with your elected leaders from your states all the way to Abuja getting on the same page, lobbying, reaching out and drumming up support from every corner of Nigeria and abroad and eventually tabling your desire for INDEPENDENCE via a referendum. This is how sane and serious people do things, not sending a lunatic and a freeking terrorist out there to insult, spew trash, peddle hate speech and issue terrorist threats against innocent people.

If I ruled the world, I'll give you your biafra this very second and get you off my neck.

The problem with the Southeast is that they look to the Southwest more than they do themselves. undecided undecided undecided

Meanwhile, the Southwest don't really give a ratsass about what they're up to.
They are too weak, incapacitated, mentally and socially dependent on Yoruba people to advance their own independent thoughts, freedom, liberty, hopes and desires.

....beats me why they think we give poo about their silly ipob or biafra worries.

Not agreeing with you on anything. Lagos state doesn't and won't determine how and when we break away from Nigeria.

Continue with your ipob roadside agitation and let Yoruba people worry about their own future.

Shege Mr Eko Ile grin you are going nowhere! Abi you no sabi your history? Awo don sign am Tay Tay

"Faruk said that before the start of the civil war in 1967, his government set Chief Obafemi Awolowo free from prison although it was another government that had put him there.

“Eventually when the war was to start with Biafra, [Awolowo] went to Ibadan and gathered all Yorubas that they should know the war about to commence was between the North and the East, and the Yoruba in the West were not part of it,” he said.

“We received this with shock and the whole Northerners met in Kaduna and we issued them a warning that we heard they (Yoruba) were not part of it and we agreed but we have one demand,” he said.

That condition, according to him was the establishment of a One Mile Corridor. “From Offa which is in our region, from the rail line to the sea (wharf) we declare One Mile Military Corridor, meaning all of them who built houses within One Mile, we will crush down their houses. And nobody will stop our vehicles and vessels from accessing the sea, this we told our Yorubas in Ilorin to tell them. And from that time we never hear them. This is Military Corridor, we of the past hope our children will carry it,” warning that nobody could stop the people of the North, whom he said number 120 million, from accessing the sea."

The yorubas would easily be the ones who stand to gain the most but they can't leave Nigeria because there is an alliance between them and the north that was struck when Awo came out of jail in 1966. The north gets unrestricted access to the sea and the yorubas avoid war and partner with the north to rule Nigeria in a permanent junior partner capacity
This is just ignorance, the North can not win any war against the SW and to say the region blessed with nearly all the riches, Lagos/crown jewel and the largest investment and industrial base in West Africa is a junior partner sounds more like a reflection of your own ignorance about your own country.

You people need to worry more about your worthless, unproductive and irrelevant villages
