Smh! Is it not his duty? Was that not what he was elected for? Is he using his money for it? Of all the funds he has had access to, does what he has done match up?

Are we so used to their inefficiency that a little efficient thing they do is like a icing on a cake?
Who is arguing with you if it's his duty or not or highlighting what the people you elect and pay to look after you are doing with your money is now a crime?

Some of you just like to argue just for the heck of it.

He actually commissioned more projects than Lagos state and the rest of Nigeria within the last 2 years. He's performing better than Lagos state and even sef, while Lagos is struggling to build an ordinary airport, Osun state will get probably the best airport in Nigeria in less than 1 year.

Encomiums as Aregbesola commissions another N94 million school in Ipetumodu ON NOVEMBER 9, 201710:20 AMIN NEWSCOMMENTS

The Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on Tuesday added another feat to his administration’s achievements in the education sector with the commissioning of another Elementary school, St. Augustine’s Government Elementary School, Ipetumodu, in Ife North Local Government Area of the state.

The Elementary school at the cost of N94 million is a‎ quadrangular block of 12 rooms, 10 of which are used as classrooms, one is a computer centre while the last one is used as the library. Tolexander:
The road is meant for the integration of the West African subregion. And road will be linking the costal cities of Lagos to Abidjan. ie 5 costal West African countries out of 15 states.

How will this road benefit the hinterland nations that are landlocked?
People in the so-called hinterland and landlocked Nations do not benefit from cross country and regional trading activities or goods and services doesn't end up in the same hinterland and landlocked regions?

Re-think.

https://www.36ng.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Fashola.jpg

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, said the Federal Government has signed financial agreement for the execution of Lagos-Abidjan highway. Mr Olusegun Ogunkayode, a Senior Information Officer in the ministry disclosed this in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday. The statement quoted Fashola as making the disclosure at the nineth Steering Committee and Experts Meeting of the Lagos-Abidjan Corridor Highway Development Programme.

He said the signing of the financial agreement was a demonstration of the Federal Government commitment to the realisation of the project. The minister said that road development was crucial to the economic growth of any nation, adding that the meeting was important considering the need for West African countries to join the league of developed nations. According to him, West African countries must emulate South American and Asia countries, who have used road development to drive their economies. Fashola said that the Lagos-Abidjan corridor would propel rapid integration of the region, boost commercial activities, improve social development, create employment windows and reduce social vices among the member states.

N820 billion budget and 2 years later, no housing estates, no hospitals, not maternity centers, no skills centers, no power plants, no 4th mainland bridge, no serious or major projects, no grand vision projects, all we have so far are statues, 1 flyover, substandard roads, Yacht boats for him and his alahusa pose to enjoy and do owambe, the orobo clown even commissioned ordinary entrance gate at LASUTH today.

And the incompetent orobo is budgeting N1 trillion, another record state in the history of Nigeria with many many more statues and absurd projects.

This useless clown is the most useless, unproductive and incompetent governor in the history of Lagos state.

How old is the Enugu Int'l runway that it's already useless and begging for reconstruction ? where were you lots when GEJ , Stella Oduah and the contractors were doing shoddy jobs in the name of building runways and INTERNATIONAL airport?

Politics › Re: Why Are Igbo Leaders And People Not Developing Igboland? Answers/Explanations by deomelo: 5:39pm On Nov 07, 2017
kn23h:
Can you please expand on the the bolded.
Victim mentality decapitates you, it doesn't allow you to do for yourself or find solutions to your problems simply because you see yourselves as victims of other people's machinations, intentional neglect and grand design for elimination (Paranoia).

Based on the above dispositions, you are now the victim and it's other people's responsibility to do for you, it's other people's responsibility to do basically what you really can do for yourself and to hide or mask your incompetency and lack of vision as a leader, you formulate the victim mentality narratives to feed to your people that it is not your fault that you don't have roads, bridges, seaports and airports, it is other people holding you back, it is other people's intentions and designs to make sure you don't progress.

As a society, we know all about our FG and our public official's corrupt and incompetent ways and the sad effects of their shortcomings are not limited to just the SE, we see the same FG neglect in every corner of Nigeria.

The same FG neglect is not limit to the SE because we see the same neglect in Kogi, Adamawa, Ekiti, Bayelsa, Edo, Delta, Eboyin, Borno, Oyo, Ondo and so on and on all over Nigeria so limiting FG neglect to the SE makes no sense, but they are able to use and feed the victim mentality narrative to their people as a form of hatred and evil design to hold them back or even eliminate them evolved into their societal and communal hatred, distrust of the FG and the rest of Nigeria.

The unfortunate victims of FG neglect in many states outside the SE are not playing the victim car like the SE because many of them have realized the fact that they can not sit around and wait for the FG to do anything for them so they are taking charge of their own economic future and destiny by doing everything the SE and their leaders refused to do by building their own state airports, bridges, seaports and so on while the SE sits around with their victim mentality and it is the FG's responsibility views to do everything for them.

When you resigned to that frame of mind that your own progress, prosperity, economic future and destiny are in the hands of other people, you are not going to move forward in life and you can not progress and develop hence the lack of development in the SE across the board.

About the SE youths, since they have been brainwashed and indoctrinated into the victim mentality, FG and other people hate and bitterness syndrome, it is almost impossible for them to demand better from their own leaders or even see the incompetency sand lack of foresight and vision they lack, but instead, they look outside their region for people to hate, abuse and accuse for everything under the sun.

The average youth in the SE know more about Osun state than their own state, they also know more about Osun state's Governor and their finances than they do about their own states, a state ad governor they hate so much for no reason is not playing the victim card or letting their money challenges hold them back and still decided to build what is now set to be the best airport in Nigeria, but are they challenging their own leaders in the SE to do the same thing, build their own airport? No, they are in fact abusing Aregbeshola and shouting corruption all over the place as if Aregbeshola is their governor and it is their money he's stealing even though the airport in Osun is privately funded.

Edo state is about to start with their own state seaport instead of playing the victim card like they do in the SE, Edo is even daring the FG to stop them. They are determined to go ahead and have sourced funding for the seaport, but what are they doing in the SE? They are the victim and it is the FG's responsibility to do everything for them, including bushing their teeth and tying their shoes for them.

After begging and wailing over the 2nd NB for 30 years and it's still not built even by GEJ who promised to exile himself if he did not build that bridge after voting for him and his party for 16 long years, shouldn't you at one point say to your state governors in the SE to join money together and build the bridge once and for all?

Are they saying the whole of SE can not join money together and build the best airport in Nigeria or are they saying they are no longer the richest, the smartest, the most industrious and dominating people in Nigeria?

Why are the so called the so called richest, the smartest, the most industrious and dominating people in Nigeria unable to do anything while the people they say they are better than in other states building and commissioning major projects all over the place.

The answer is, they are incapacitated by victim mentality, lack of visionary leaders and lack of leaders with great sense of duty and responsibility.

They have sadly mentally corrupted their youths just to save their own skin and hide their own shortcomings and collective failures.

To answer your question.

They are lazy

They are incompetent

They lack vision

They lack ideas

They have zero sense of duty and purpose

Lastly, they are the same byproducts of the same communal and societal victim mentality syndrome which decapitates the human spirit to perform or do anything to progress and develop.

Sadly, their youths have developed the same maladies and are displaying them with vigor

So, the “stat” is not really a stat then. Just someone’s personal opionion and observations.

Had a brief glance through the article. The Author stated in his disclaimer that his piece was just that- his own personal opinion. He even admitted towards the end that he has no true statistics to back up the figures.

So, really, you have no verifiable stats. Just personal opinions and assumptions.

Also, the claim that igbos remits the most into the foreign reserves is just a myth. There is no money transfer systems abroad which asks for our tribes when we do transactions. Even the original link you posted mentioned Nigerians repatriating money home. It never singled out a particular tribe as being the largest contributor.

Hope this fallacy can be put to rest now. But doubt it, knowing how some people here bandy opinions as facts!
It would be indeed difficult if not impossible to quantify the number of Igbos living outside the boundaries of our current traditional Igbo enclave of the Southeast Nigeria. For the sake of this article, let us forget about all those in the Diaspora, if you factor in all the Igbos living all over Nigeria in the North, the West, and the South, along with those in the Southeast, the population of Igbos would easily be far greater than any other tribe in Nigeria. I have resisted putting a number because I truly don't have the full statistics
Actually, the ipob con man was tryi g to have it both ways like they always do.

The joker first beat his narrow and empty chest that based on whatever rubbish he added together, Igbos would easily be far greater than any other tribe in Nigeria, but quickly admitted that his chest beating was nothing but rubbish because he did not have any stats, meaning the whole write up and silly exercise was nothing but the usual ipobitch meaningless chest beating.
