I have active subscription on ChatGPT that I use for my personal works. Where I work, you're not allowed to use it for certain things without getting fired.
Nobody will trust AI to write codes for critical financial operations.
My honest observation is that global economy is generally slow, which is the main reason for the slow tech jobs these days. It doesn't have anything to do with AI. Companies have been doing mass layoffs before the coming of AI. At the same time, organizations are hiring more people with AI and ML knowledge, reason why most of the jobs now is Python based.

It should be optional and the employers should let the employees know that they will not entertain unionisation for what ever reason before employing them.
So that anyone taking the job will know he/she will not be joining any labour union.
I believe government will never ask dangote to shut down his refinery if he insisted he won't allow his employees to join any union.

People have freedom of association according to our laws. Why would any organization operating under the same law go against it's core systems!
