HitRun: Go and read and watch about his time as president. No be everything be Cho Cho Cho. Almost all the systems we have in Nigeria today were set up during his time. He some progress no doubt, but most of ills you see today in our polity have their root during his reign. Make una no dey sugar coat everything. 1999 was an opportunity to start afresh as a nation, but again, we missed it. Things don't just go bad overnight |
Romance › Re: Girlfriend Dies In Boyfriend's House: How Best To Deal With This As A Man? by DeOTR: 11:07am On Aug 25, 2025 |
NNtv: No body is praying for such a misfortune to come upon him but life can be unfortunate sometimes.
Imagine inviting your girlfriend to spend the weekend with you, at your place and she died in her sleep. You as the boyfriend is innocent but it just happened that death came to her at that unplanned time. What is the best way to approach this–in accordance with the law?
I'm asking this question not because of yinka's fate in the image attached below but I have had an experience where the lady I invited over was rubbed while going back from my place. I use to ask myself those times "what if this girl died from this experience?" what would have happened to me?
So, after seeing this news by punch newspaper, it reminded me of my experience and I want to ask the best move to make in a case like yinka's. You're going to jail at the very least. There's no dealing with anything. |

SmartPolician: Oga, drop this argument. You don't understand the point the moniker you quoted is making. The person is saying that we don't discriminate against other Africans because those folks aren't here in their numbers and that's very true. Their populations are insignificant.
Even Igbos in the South West (a part of their own country) are being told to go back to their region and you think you can tolerate people from another country competing for your lean opportunities and resources. Get real!!
There's nothing we accuse South Africans of that we haven't done to ourselves in this country. We have even done worse things to ourselves. So, drop this sanctimonious standpoint. Whenever I say that blacks are the most wickéd race of the world, people will come to my mention and start wailing. We have more African immigrants in Nigeria than you can ever have in South Africa. What exactly are you even saying? Must everything be about you guys? The same entitlement problem you have with Yorubas in Lagos is the same problem Nigerians are having in South Africa, no thanks to igbos. Isn't that what the lioness handle is talking about? Maybe you should look inward. |

Anything you empower will be destroyed by a future uneducated generation . Everything about the average Nigerian is food. We can see how high level of illiteracy has gotten us to where we are at this point in time. |

NIGERIAN in a country that value monopoly over competitive growth.
If u enter the same industry, without a big politician backing u,u will never go anywhere. These are part of the men that got to that space because of OBJ and IBB.
Obj and IBB made Dangote,Otedola. While IBB made Authur Eze and the owner globacom,Gado Nasko and many other I can't remember now. Honestly, I only know Dangote after 1999. My school was along an expressway. Never for once did I see any Dangote truck until after Obj came in in 1999. The man is an industrialist, but he hugely benefitted from government favors and undue advantages |

oalandAgents2: Fun fact: NCC actually sets a minimum charges that the Telco cannot charge below. I kid you not!😒 These are operating a cartel and NCC is their facilitator. Very annoying. What I know is that they are supposed to be setting price ceiling, but our own regulators will be setting price floors as if they're on the payrolls of the providers. So if I decide to go into telecon now and see that I can offer services for less and still make profit, these NCC guys will force my hands because this is supposed to be some sort of monopoly or what? |

Love800: I understand somehow, but still confused.
Okay maybe from these questions i will ask you next, it will satisfy my curiosity.
The normal network will use(mtn, Airtel, Glo), where do they fall into? Is it fiber or satellite?
Which devices uses satellite?
Which devices use fiber? MTN and the likes offer cellular-based mobile broadband, at least to most of their customers. Starlink is the only satellite based privider I know operating in Nigeria. |

Love800: Okay.
But i want to understand something. Our normal network we mostly use, they are not called fibers?
What then is satallite in this context also? Satellite broadband uses satellite in space to send and receive data. It has higher latency than fibre networks because weather situations and obstructions like tall buildings can affect satellite broadbands. Low Earth orbit satellite broadband like start link are faster than traditional one, but ideally not as fast as full fiber |

Thank you. It's like cable based Internet connection. The cable is run directly to your house, not like wireless like MTN and Airtel. It's usually very fast. |

Every company management indeed has the prerogative to do what is best for their long-term survival and even though I use CGPT among others on the personal level, I'm gonna start focusing on ensuring that these AI tools do NOT cause any negatives in my firms' operations from here on out. We deal with patent data. It's common knowledge that any information shared with these AI models is public, so to avoid obvious leak of people's data, no one is allowed to use it, at least, not on your work laptop. |

officialfestus: Airtel unlimited is crap, it's too slow. Not sure it's up to 20mps as claimed. You're generous with the 20mp/s you decided to credit to them. I'm not sure it's up to 3mbps. You'll be better of subscribing to a plan that you already know the volume. You can't possibly get a 10k value for an Airtel unlimited plan of 30k per month. |

Great100000: Source: https://www.zikoko.com/money/cheapest-unlimited-internet-plans-nigeria/ In everything you do, please avoid Airtel unlimited plans. Enough said. With all said and done, try and get starlink if you're not living in any fibre coverage areas. You don't have problems if you're in Lagos. The provider I use charges 14.5k monthly and it's truly unlimited without anyone telling you you can't use beyond 10gb for a plan that's supposed to be unlimited. The speed is top-notch and the provider is not even on this list. |

Shawarmagirl: Let me educate you why. INEC disqualified all LP candidates because of the internal party problem. Obi is in the coalition hence, his support for the candidates.
Obi, Atiku, Amaechi, Elrufia and co never told y'all they are card carrying member of ADC. Until then, they still remain in their respective parties same way Wike is in PDP and working for APC victory. I can't remember Wike holding any position in APC. The last time I checked, he's a minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria, not APC. Or am I missing something? Why should anyone take Obi seriously anyways? He is neither here or there, so he wants to people to join him in his confusion. If the so-called leaders of the coalition aren't even in ADC yet, why should anyone vote listen to them to vote for their candidates? |
