OBAJESU: True.....this man so seriously fought against the creation of Amotekun in 2019-2020. Thank God Gov Makinde stood still and overcome their opposition under legal action, before Amotekun was created, and the people in SW had some respite from the then marauding herdmen. Late Gov Akeredolu was also instrumental. Both governors paid a lot to start Amotekun and defended Yourybaland from foreigners.
He was sowing evil.....payback time. However I don't support extremism, so they should fish out the culprits.
At the end we all reap what we have sown.....reason for us to leave great legacies, not antisocial ones. There's no culprit anywhere. This is an arrangee attack to gain undue sympathy and attention. The real karma will soon catch up with this extremist called malami. He can't escape it |

El rufai is a two term governor of Kaduna state and was a member of APC all through his 2 term tenure so he knows better than you by what he said that APC sponsors terrorism and banditry. Many victims of banditry from southern kaduna during the regime of the midget are all over the southern part of Nigeria as refugees. We know better than to listen to a disgruntled ex governor |

shortgun: Name one problem in Nigeria that can not be solved in four years. The only reason Peter Obi’s promises sound unrealistic is because Nigerians have become so used to bad governance that good leadership now feels impossible.
What you should have done was tell any problem you think we're facing that's solvable in just 4 years. You're facing problems personally yourself and being struggling to solve for many years, but you think it's different for a country of almost 200million people? |

I don’t know how many people noticed that. I thought my eyes hurt, but didn't realize I wasn't the only who noticed the contradictions. Politicians are some of the most self-serving people on the planet earth. 4 years is not enough to repair a badly damaged country, but Tinubu is barely two years in and he's not doing well, according to the same person? |

Already the clerics is accusing that Tinubu invited spies to eliminate some of them and they have a decision impact in elections in the north. Northern politicians knows how to deal together to favor them. Don't be surprised that some working with Tinubu will work against him during the election. Though Tinubu maybe a master in the game of politics but this will be hard because the people don't understand what he is doing only hunger, high taxes and cost of living is what they understand. If atiku emerges with obi as vice, APC will struggle no matter the intimidation and rigging. There's nothing like northern leaders anywhere. Count the North Central out of your northern equation. Money, knowledge and patronage come easy? You just mentioned the 3 core components of every successful business and you call that easy? How about I mention tech companies that have gone under now that you mentioned opay? I'm also into tech myself and if you think what it takes is just to develop a product, you are getting it wrong. A country where average civil servants can't earn a wage to buy a house or a brand New car, EVEN AFTER YOU SAVED ALL YOUR SALARIES FOR 10 YEARS. No country in the world can salary earners afford to buy new house or car in cash, not even in the US. They have functional mortgage systems and mostly buy cars and pay monthly. What do you think repossessed cars are? It's mostly only in Nigeria you'll see average people buying new cars cash and building houses. In Sweden for instance, your annual salary may not even be enough to buy one square meter of land (yes they sell by per square meter) |

smallsmall: Dubai Mall or Burg Khalifa or the Metro was not the priority for Nigeria during OBJ's time.
How do yo build a Burg Khalifa in a Country of 200Million People, with around 3,000MW of electricity? How do you build a Metroline with such miserable level of electricity or are you going to power those things with 'air"? A country that was reeling in debt should not be thinking of all those 'symbolic' projects.
What OBJ should have done, which current President still failed to do, is to start the building of Two Nuclear Power Stations, on ein the North, another in the South. Forget the fear of 'Nuclear disaster', modern day Nuclear Power Plants are far much safer than the likes of Fujikima or Chernobyl. Look at the Zaporitchia Nuclear Power Plant in Donbass, it is still functioning in the middle of a three year war, despite all efforts by terrorist Jewlensky of Ukraine, to contaminate the whole of Europe, by attacking it.
No Country in this World, has ever industrialized without stable and cheap source of Electricity, anyone can fact-check me. And Nuclear Power is the cheapest and most reliable source of Power. many African Countries are midway into the building of their own Nuclear Power stations right now (Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda,Tanzania, Morocco, Zambia), mostly assisted by Russia's Rosatom Energy.
Our Leaders can do far better than all the 'self-glorification' hand-outs they are currently doing but then, they cant give what they dont have. You missed the part where they spent $16billion on same electricity you said was of higher priority than Burj Khalifa? Do you know what it means for $16b to vanish into thin air even in today's Nigeria and we're talking about a time when our nation budget was still under #5trillion annually |

Go and check his records in Katsina state. If Yar'adua contests Presidential election today, I will vote for him. Yar Adua was the best governor? By what metrics are you saying that? What were his public policies? What did he build in katsina that you can point at today? Saving money in the midst of poverty and underdevelopment is a clear sign of a clueless leader. |

God is no respecter of persons, if Jesus Christ isn't your saviour and you leave this world, it's hell fire straight.

He was also looking for someone who is not corrupt. Most of our leaders are good people, at least, better than most common people you meet everyday. What we need are leaders with foresight.
