madridguy: This is not about water or desert it is about the people. If you are in Lagos let enter the street and check around together. Let enter Hausa dominated area or market and interview them. I know a guy personally at abbatior at Agege with 17 children. The guy said his going to 32 because his father has 25 children. It's true. You have to have sustainable sources of water to support civilization. Someone breeding like rabbit in Lagos is different from someone doing same in Kano. That's the difference. For every northerners you see, at least two of them are either from Chad or Niger. Stop deceiving yourself. |

madridguy: Don't ask me if I have been to the North. No region has their population. If the whole SE population are to live in Niger State alone you won't fully occupied Kantagora LG, in Niger State. So it's about landmass abi wetin? Aba alone is larger than the whole Niger state combined or you don't know? |

immaculatesense: You are 100% correct. I do tell people that the population of Hausa people in SW is more than that if Igbo people. But the issue is that Igbos have been integrated with inter tribal marriage with Yorubas which has made them part of us until recently. But an Hausa man will still go back to his town to bring his wife here. Hausas are more than Igbos in South West but Igbos are more integrated due to Marriage and Education. The fact is that there are more Yorubas in the North like Kwara, Kogi, Nigeria, Nasarawa, Kano and Kaduna than Igbos but Igbos dey always cause trouble which makes them popular and gives them the wrong impression that they are many. Yorubas are at least 60% of Kwara, second largest population in Kogi. And they're indigenous to these states. You can mention any other states in the North. Kwara are Kogi have indigenous Yoruba populations. |

Uncletony: The westners will tell u the easters don't have population, not knowing that lagos alone is 60% easthners Make it 95%. Yorubas are 2% while the rest of the tribes are 3%. Shebi you forget say we have about 5 other Yoruba states around Lagos and Kwara State which is 60% with Yorubas having second largest population in Kogi? You think ibos are the only ones that love to travel to Lagos? You people are too unreasonable. Even if you empty the whole of South East into Lagos, Igbo population can not be high than Yoruba. That's a fact. |

It's OK for you to say Israel doesn't exist until 1948? Do you even know the meaning of Israel, the twelve tribes? Of course you don't. Do you even know the Jews were the majority tribe in Medina until they got dislodged? Majority of the people you call Palestinians are actually natively from Jordan or do you want to argue that too? brain54: Misplaced priorities...
I'm one of those that believe the largese was wasteful.
We should set our priorities right.
Our educational system is in shambles... how many people get rewarded for doing exceptionally well in that sector or in technological or even technical innovations.
It's not hate. The super falcons have done well and it right to appreciate their efforts. But we should also set our priorities in the right order to get a rounded balance.
The IGP just came out to say the pension of Nigerian Police officers that give a better part of their life to the service of the country is miserable.
This is a spending spree. It's reckless! Footballers get paid £250k pounds weekly for kicking a round leather ball around the pitch in the UK. In this same UK, experienced professionals earning £250k annually are like gods. That's the global reality. Career in sport is a short term one, and so attracts high remuneration. Let the girls receive the recognition in peace, they're not entitled to pensions after retirement. |

joromii: Shey ministry of tourism understand this is part of Nigeria? At least they have government in the state. If they are visionary, they should develop this place like a resort of some sort. Cross River had Obudu and Tinapa. Ekiti has the warm spring resort which is being managed by a private firm. This is something the state government should be doing. |

Oga, it's our agencies that gave these people access to their APIs. There's nothing like accidental here. If I design some endpoints, you must be authorized to access anyone of them. People selling the data certainly have the API keys or access tokens they use to get the data or they get it from people who have official access to it. Our financial institutions have an interface by which they interact with some of these agencies. They can investigate on that. |

The point is before 1948 there was nothing like Israel. There was Palestine. Of course, Israel the son of Isaac, the grandson of Abraham never existed according to you. We all know the inhabitants of that land for over 3000 years and they are no Arabs. Let's start from there. |

AbdulHakeem44: By your logic, if Nigeria finds out that boko haram has been entering Nigeria through Mali or Niger, Nigeria should wipe the whole of Malians or Nigeriens citizens because of the atrocities of a minority terrorist group, is that what you mean? Boko Haram is not the official government of Niger or Mali. Hamas is the official government of the so-called Palestine. Do you now see the difference when your government is an official terrorist organization? |

Saao: imagine one guy in one corner insulting me? Bro travel. Huasas once killed alot of yorubas in Kaduna during Ahmed markarfi tenure in Kaduna and right thinking northerners kicked against it. A wise man don't fight over land. When people lack what to do, they resort into insult in this case. Fulanis and yorubas maybe soon endangered species if care not taken. Other tribes are watching you and your likes I'm more traveled, home and abroad, than you can ever be in your entire existence. A wise man don't fight over land? Please preach that nonsense to the ibos. People that can't even sell you one plot of land in their states will be telling you your state is no man's land, Oga, you go too collect. I only pity those Yorubas that live in the far north and in the south east. As for being endangered species, we are waiting for you. You should be ready to wipe out 50 million people, together with those in Benin Republic, Togo, Brazil and the rest of the Caribbean. You think you're dealing with a minority group like yours abi? |

Yorubas are everywhere in the north and in my village as well as igbos but I don't know why, your noise is everywhere about Igbos in lagos. Funny enough, Igbos are in other southwest states aside lagos but I haven't heard much from those states. The same Yorubas that would turn around to marry the same igbos tomorrow are the one complaining. Tinubu style of politics will destroy southwest if care not taken They also messed up in Akure and recently, Ghana. Is that Lagos too? It's your cup of tea if you allow strangers look down on you in your village. Yorubas say no. You can be a useful mvmv for them |
