Please I want you to judge me but, while you do that, please be sincere. I will make it brief. Please dont mind the typo errors or any errors as we have many English teachers on board.

It all started about 3moths now, I works with an FMCG Multinational Company as a Field Sales Manager and I was newly transferred to one of the northern state from Lagos.

I arrived this state as a Johny Just Come (JJC) and I can barely speak ordinary 'Wa kin pa o' (come make I kill You), I am a Yoruba Man.
I met an existing Sales team which I inherited from the previous manager.
One of the Sales people is Mr X. Oh my God! This guy is just so exceptionally intelligent, smart, hardworking, dexterous and has the qualities to be a great Manager. He is still an Open Market Sales Rep despite the years he has put in the Business.

Mr X took me round the Territory, helped introduced me to existing distributors and we were able to recruited more. My line manager was so surprised that i was able to fit into the new environment easily and met 72% of my target for the first month within that shortest time. This particular Mr X has so much channels he can singlehandedly do 50% of the entire secondary sales while the remaining sales rep struggled with the rest.

Now this where I'll need your advise. There is a new vacant slots for the post of TSM, three (3)northern states and one(1) south eastern state. I have opportunity to sloth Mr X's CV so he can be called for exams and possibly interviews. I am more than sure this guy will get the job with my help and his effort.

The problem is "I CAN'T LET MR X GO NOW" I decided to work out ridiculous incentives for him to increase his pay and he was so happy about it this month. He received 2x of what he always received monthly for the last few years...but yet, my conscience wont let me rest till now as it is about 48 hours to the close of submission for CVs.

I need this guy on board so badly atleast for like 4 to 5 months when I'll find my feet on this ground..I have looked around the remaining sales team atleast for a replacement but the rest are just.......This environment still looks like I am being pushed here to suffer..If you have been to core north, you will understand.

**I know God pushed him to me and I am very grateful. I'm I being wivked or self centered by holding on from sending his CV?

**I'm I going to be so stupid for allowing him Go now.

I read everything by Robert Greene. Popular ones include "Mastery," "48 Laws of Power," & "Art of Seduction." These books will wake you up from being an emotional junk to a more objective and logical animal.

One of my favourite book is the "Power of your Subconscious Mind" by Joseph Murphy. It debunked popular myth and places the power back in your hands.

I'd also recommend "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius. Contains short nuggets on various philosophical truths. Could call it a life advice manual. Definitely gonna change your perspective on life.

Then I read a bunch of history too, with a blend of social politics. Mostly about the life of dictators such as Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin. etc. "The Rise & Fall of the Third Reich" by William L. Shirer is a good place to start.

These aren't motivational books to make you feel mushy or fuzzy. They'll wake you up to life. To real fuxxxing life!

Yeah, these contents might pose as weird books by societal norms. But they've helped me develop a thick skin.

The world out there isn't fair. As an introvert like me, if you fail to shield yourself mentally, you'd be an emotional mop tossed to and fro by folks who'd wanna take you for a ride by capitalising on your calm and peaceful disposition.

These stuff have taught me to be calm but not to be foolish; to be calculative and astute. It has made me discover that my personality isn't a disadvantage but rather a blessing.

I've learnt to wear my insecurities comfortably with my middle finger to the world.

The Bible is my all time favourite.
Words by the author of Ecclesiastics still leaves me struck as to how a human being could possess that reservoir of practical wisdom. His generation didn't deserve him.

I prefer buying my books from a book store. I love the feel of flipping the pages and marking sentences. Lol.

However, you can get practically any book in pdf from b-ok.org or pdfdrive.com.

I'm introverted but I'm neither timid nor shy (except I'm in the middle of a crowd though). I don't have problems starting conversations but I hardly do. I really don't enjoy knowing too many people so I mostly keep to myself. I enjoy my own company but I also enjoy gisting and hanging out with very close friends.

Women have never really been a problem, I dated beautiful women and married one. Funny enough I have only 'toasted' a girl on the road just once. I have always operated best with girls that are within my reach, classmates, colleagues, people introducing me to a girl etc. I have no problem 'toasting' a girl in such situations, I actually find it very easy. Meeting random girls was never my thing.

I enjoy intimate settings, one on one in a restaurant, bar or somewhere serene. However, I occasionally want to hang out at the club or loud bar. I just noticed now that I prefer just being alone in my room, just flipping through channels or binging on Youtube, doing nothing. But the kids keep jumping all over.. LOL. I have lost the zeal for movies and reading.

Basically, I've gone through the cycle of very introverted in my teens, to a bit outgoing in my 20's and early 30's and now I'm settling back into my introverted state.

When I was a child. I once asked my mother what killed old Roger and why he had an orange tree planted over his grave in our nursery rhythm book.

My mum used to hide to eat stuffs at night, stuffs like suya/pepper soup /tea/malt and milk.

So I and my sister sneeked upon my mother, enjoying herself at the front verandah malt milk suya you name it . This woman was enjoying while my father was crashing in bed probably tired fr work and running errands .

" we catch you" I chorused with my sister.
My mother startled alil bit. And started...

She makes move to hide the stuffs.
But it was too late we've seen it all.

At this point she resorted to Igbo and said

Stupid kids, we didn't hear Igbo, so we went to the back yard to look for "Omuru Nwa Erihi iye".

We came back and asked her how the thing looked like, she said it looked like a bird that it's at the back yard that we should hurry to find it before the milk finishes.
