Family › Re: My Husband Beat Me On Christmas Day by Depressed101: 3:40pm On Dec 29, 2019 |
Mrsprissy: Thank you so much everyone for your advice . Like I said earlier nothing actually happened between us before Christmas , everything was okey , on Monday December 23rd we went out shopping for Christmas after we took the kids out to the playgrounds and we ended the day with a nice dinner at the restaurant. On Christmas morning we woke up fine no arguments, he left the house and went to get his hair cut, I picked up his clothes and left it on the bed by the time he get back so he can wear them, he came back very normal on a good mood , the only time he got angry was when I asked him to go and change , I didn’t raise my voice , I only told him the clothes doesn’t look nice for the special occasion that was when he told me to keep quiet and I did. He took 1 hour just to change the T-shirt to a shirt and I wasn’t not happy but I didn’t say anything because he wasn’t in the right mood. Yes He beat me just because I have asked him to take a family picture , I swear to God I’m telling the truth and if I’m not lying because it won’t put any money to my bank account. This is the 2nd beating after 6 years of marriage , but this is one was worse than the first one. Something did happened back in October ( his fault) but we have already settle everything and went back to normal. I know it doesn’t make sense to some of you , even myself I just don’t understand why did he beat me with so much hatred when I did nothing wrong this post is unnecessary if you haven't asked him why he beat you... What ever happened to communication. It might be that you have unknowingly offended him before then, or should i say you hurt his ego with the way you asked him to go change his clothe,(that will be childish of him if that is the case,). Consider this also, maybe somebody might have told him something bad about you, and he is thinking deeply about... Worst case scenario is, this might be a spiritual attack to scatter your family... Either way, i urge you to be a virtuous woman, protect your family, and that which is yours (your husband) from unwanted bad influence... Have a heart talk with him at the dead of the night.. And ask him where you have wronged him.... If this doesn't yead a good result, your next step should be involving someone he respects alot... DON'T GO ABOUT WITHOUT COVERING YOUR FAMILY IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS AGAINST SPIRITUAL ATTACKS.. SUO BEUNES |

megawealth01: Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Ejigbo Lagos, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, has released prophecies for year 2020.
Ayodele made the revelations public during Christmas at his annual fest gathering.
The cleric gave prophecies on Nigeria, prominent citizens including President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, government agencies, the international community, among others.
Excerpts below:
“NIGERIA: Nigeria in the Diaspora will witness more troubles. I foresee incessant killings in the country as rioting will be on the increase. Nigeria 2020 needs to pray so well because I foresee so many things happening in the country. The country will face serious economy challenges.
I foresee that Budget 2020 will not drive the need of the people. The country needs prayers for guidance and God’s divine protection. Government should look for ways of working things out.
Let us pray against unexpected bomb explosion in Nigeria.
Let us pray against the death of a professor, a judge, a onetime civilian governor, a military officer, a minister and a business tycoon.
Let us pray against the death of a prominent banker.
The government should take steps to tackle the level of crime. The prices of gas will increase as there will be new electric stove.
“There will be issues and clashes between Yoruba and Hausa, Igbo and Hausa.
I foresee deportation of Nigerians in some countries and some Nigerians will be deported within Nigeria. Government will caution people that try to criticize their policy.
People will not be able to express their desire.
Democracy will cause a lot of problems and will break Nigeria. I foresee future referendum coming. A lot of things will happen in Nigeria. I foresee protest and counter protest against the government. Let the country pray against confusion. Nigeria will face a lot of challenges as they will embark on certain steps to normalize and checkmate its security challenges.
“Despite all this, there will still be security challenges in major parts of the country.
Let’s pray for God to protect Federal Ministries that their office will not be involved in any fire incident.
The following states: Enugu, Kogi, Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti should be careful of erosion and flood and some parts of the north that have not experienced it before.
There will be too much population in the country. Nigeria is still sitting on a time bomb that may explode. The country should pray for peace and unity in the nation. I foresee a new flag in the world i.e. another country will emerge.
Some country will come out of another country.
“Let us pray to rebuke the death of a present and former Minister, former governor, and Former president in Nigeria.
The government of President Buhari will expose some former governors who are corrupt.
The government will make lots of efforts to move the country. APC will rise up against the government. Some government agencies will be scrapped due to internal inefficiencies. Lagos (EKO) Electric Distribution Company will face problems and also in Rivers, Kwara, Edo, Ebonyi, Kano and Cross Rivers.
I foresee that the 2023 election will pose serious tension as the Northern part will want to continue to be in power at all cost. They will do so many things so as to ensure they remain in power. The Yoruba clamouring to become the next president of the country should seek the face of God before they embark on any journey
“The Igbo will not be recognized in 2023. The 2023 election will be so tough and challenging. The geo-political zones who have sold their right are still going to regret it because anybody that talks will be arrested or oppose what the government are doing will face so many threats. I foresee some people will oppose the decision of the government.
The Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) should be committed into prayers and they will introduce a new tax system into the country.
Let us pray against calamity in the country.
There will be environmental pollution. Stock Exchange will experience changes in its leadership position. Some company license will be seized.
“I foresee unexpected explosions and fire outbreak in Nigeria.
Some Federal Ministers must be careful because some will face unexpected challenges in discharging their duties properly.
Let us pray against troubles in our security system.
Baby factories will be detected. The government will embark on new methods of sanctifying the state in order to make it free and cool the security of the country. Pensioners will demonstrate. Some state will not be able to pay their pensioners. Pensioners will go on strike.
Fraud will be detected in the Pension Board. Ghost workers will be detected by the Federal government.
“Let us watch against unexpected explosion and killings in Abuja. Herdsmen will come in various dimensions. Some state will work on cattle rearers which will not work as expected.
There will be attack on herdsmen. The president must pray to rebuke troubles. Nigeria will be concerned about the security challenges confronting the country. Nigeria will make security dominant in the country. Let us pray so that curfew will not be declared in some states and local government and let’s rebuke cases of emergencies in any of the sectors in the country.
I foresee the Villa being changed from its present location in the nearest future. I also foresee a new Presidential Villa being built.
“Let us pray to rebuke death and cases of fire in the Villa. Let us also be careful and watchful because of so many things that will be happening in the villa. Let us pray against attack and threat on the Villa. Let’s pray so that none of the presidential convoy will be attacked.
The government should be vigilant. President Buhari should take a rest in the month of April, May, August and September 2020 and he should watch his policies. I foresee drama in the Villa.
Let us pray for our governments so that none of them will be attacked. Some Ministers will be queried by the President. Some of the hidden agendas of the Ministers will be exposed. Apart from this, Nigeria will experience what they have not being experiencing before. I foresee earthquake, landslide and earth tremor in Nigeria.
“Farmers will be assisted and encouraged by borrowing them money but the money will not be accounted for. Government will distribute fertilizers to the farmers so as to enhance their farm crops and fake fertilizers will be given also. I foresee the South-West will start producing food.
“Let us pray to rebuke attack in some neighbouring countries. Government will raise tax on tricycle riders in Lagos. The license method of C of O will be changed.
Tinubu will be betrayed. Osinbajo and Buhari will have problems as there will be moves to remove him from office even as I foresee the cabals working against Tinubu’s plan and they will be threat to question Tinubu.
Osinbajo must be prayerful because he will face counter challenges before the end of his tenure. Malabo oil scam will still rise. Some present and past politicians will be accused. The country needs lots of prayers as the Lord has blessed the country so much.

You people need to understand the demography of the North. Hausa is just a lingua franca of the North owing to the diverse nature of the region.
The only region with pure Hausa majority is the North west and in States like Kebbi, Kaduna Zamfara there are sizeable ethnic minorities. oga we are saying the same thing.. This also doesn't mean that there are no single hausa indigenes who are Christians.... Even in iraq there are indigenous Christians, goto Egypt.. No to talk of northern Nigeria that just converted to muslimah... Which day did Islam come Africa... Was it not common Mali that conquered Northern Nigeria and forced them to become Muslims? |

There are two options 1) you can forget about him and retreat back into your safezone or 2) continue living in that bitter-sweet box of feelings. And tell him how you feel you have better chances since you are a girl.

Michellekabod2: I am not going to create another moniker for this,i owe no one nothing!
I have spent most of my life single. I tried linking up with people but to no avail. Why? I will not do the blame game here. Is all my fault. I meet someone, get heed over heels for the person but I lose interest easily. When it comes to commitment, when the friendship is to get to the next level I ghost them. I don't know why. At best out of the blue I lose interest and become blank, not returning calls or replying messages, at worst I become disgusted at the fellow for no reason at all then move one to the next male friend. Nothing serious comes out of it...
So I decided to give up trying. My female friends and I go on an outing, some guys approach us and get our numbers. Months (sometimes years) later they are still waxing strong with the males, one of them even got married to one of them. But me? After a couple of weeks I find myself having to ghost the guy that I was head over heels for.
I gave up on love and chose to be single. I have been single for years now.
I met this guy march this year,we bonded like never before. I have never in my entire life felt like this before. It is so strange that each conversation we have all seems anew like we are starting all over.
It's almost ten months and the fire is still intense. I have never had such a long friendship with a male. People assume we are dating. He gives me so much JOY... He is so awesome, different from all the others i have known. He changed me.
I just figured out i want to end the friendship, I don't know why. I am tired. I want to walk away. The passion is still there but i want to be away. I wanted to get a new SIM but my conscience will not. What has kept me from doing this is because i wonder how he will feel..
I want to walk away. Will i regret this? you are not alone.merry christmas |

imolile: Legalism is the problems of Nigerian churches, most people have not heard that word before Legalism (or nomism), in Christian theology, is the act of putting law above gospel by establishing requirements for salvation beyond repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and reducing the broad, inclusive and general precepts of the Bible to narrow and rigid moral codes. We don't do this and we don't do that is human attempt to attain holiness or righteousness by mere works, Sometimes the strictness imposed on people tends to rob people oF true Christianity which is more about the saving of the souls of men In the course of Practicing legalism, many of the men have sent a wrong message about Jesus to the world these seclusion that made people to differentiate themselves in most cases is not of God Christians are to be Lights in the worLd, Light does not shout, Light shines. these Legalism is like shouting and it makes us worse than Judaism this is the point where the Jews were when Jesus Came Christianity is more than all these, you can bring people out of ignorance only by loving them not by legalistic seclusion
Actually Legalist are the most of all hypocrites because they cannot keep up with true legalism God Condemns all man in one statement Roman 3:10 , Isaiah 64: 6 It is Only Jesus who qualifies to attain Gods righteousness and we must come through Him wow |

babson9jata: *MY SUCCESS STORY IN FUTA.* *With 4.68 from 3.80!--*
The 20th day of December, 2019 was a very special day for me as I was awarded a First Class Honors, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting, Federal University of Technology Akure.
To the glory of God, I entered FUTA on 3rd of December 2015 as an undergraduate. I had a four man squad and we all strived to be successful. In a nutshell, first semester result 100 level result was out and it happened that I had the lowest GPA of 3.80 in the squad. I was so disheartened that I had the lowest GPA and I was a bit happy that I didn't scored too low despite my political office as NUASA pioneer General Secretary (with Aluta-P led executive) and my position as the National President, Jnr/Int RAN. I informed a brother, Bosun Egberinde of the situation at hand and he encouraged and motivated me to keep moving and aim high.
Second semester 100 level result was released, I had 4.44 (was so annoyed because I had a C in CSC102, a three unit course which hindered my chance of making a first class that semester). I will never forget, a friend out of the 4 man squad who made a statement that struck a cord in me, he actually had a 'B' in a 4 unit course and he was like, "if ordinary BBM could have an 'A' BIO 102, then he should definitely have more than that" (with the impression that he is far better than me). This drove me high and mad . 200 level first semester, I started reading for an average of *8 hours in a day and once read for 16 hours on a stretch.* Guess what, I had a 5.00 that semester.
We were two that actually had the 5.00 then and that was the first of its kind in Accounting and the faculty, SMAT (except IT report) according to history. I was so amazed because in 4 of 9 of the courses, I had 70 -72 (A). (Isn't God faithful? ). The news went viral throughout the faculty and we became the talk of the devil for a while.
Not to bore you with this long story, Second semester 200 level, I had 4.67. I actually spent my lecture free week at a National camp ☹. God is good!
First Semester 300 level, I had 4.63; was scared of dropping because I started my professional exam ICAN-ATS in that semester and officially launched my enterprise, BBM WORLD (Graphics Design).
Second semester 300 level, only had 11 days to prepare for school exam due to my second stage of my professional exam, but guess what, I made a 5.00 as well . First Semester 400 level, again, I made a 5.00. It was a back to back, hit to hit . Should I burst your burble? I wasn't in school in the first week of exam, I was in Lagos for my ICAN-ATS induction, also represented the university in an inter-university competition (Annual Conference for Accountant at JABU) yet, God did it. And in the last semester, 400 level second semester, I had 4.88 (a 3 unit course actually hindered me from having a 5.00 for the fourth time. I had a 'B' ☹.
However, I bless God because only 6 out of about 95 students had an 'A' in a 6 unit project and I was honoured to be among them. Also represented FUTA at an inter-university summit or competition at OAU in October which lead to a competition/teasing between OAU and FUTA (#OAUvsFUTA on tweeter). I and my team made them know that FUTA is the best!.
Today, I graduated as the 5th best graduating student in the department of Accounting with a CGPA of 4.68 from 3.80 of 5.00 scale. _I am a true product of Grace._
*Charge:* In whatever thing you do, strive to be the best. Yes, the best!
