jamze:Don't bother. They're not answering anyone on twitter. |
ZeddyR:Same thing here. I've tried twice today. I'll try later again. I want to be part of the program but if they won't let me, I can't kill myself. There's other ways to learn something and make money. |
ZeddyR:Same here. I've stopped dwelling on it. I have things to use my time for. I just try every two or three hours now. used the whole of Saturday Sunday and Monday to click submit. I'll click till it tells me that my login session has expired, I'll login again, fill details and repeat. It's just sad that a whole govt site will be this frustrating to upload less than 1mb of information |
HOLYNICEGUY:You don't need to scan. Just take a clear picture of it with your phone. |
HOLYNICEGUY:You're welcome. Happy to help. Have you been able to write your test? I'm still having issues with updating my profile. Today is the 3rd day. I feel like just giving up. |
Ermm:I don't want to risk it cos I'm not sure of the later outcome. But if that really is the case, then at least support and official nasims media channels could at least come out and allay our fears. These people just like doing things haphazardly. It's very disappointing. They're not even replying to people's complaints on twitter smh. |
Dharniel600:Same thing 2 days now. |
Guru9ja:Exactly. And if they later decide to tell us how much they've spent on this website, you'll be shocked. I mean many private tech startups in Nigeria have websites with better performance. I can't wrap my head around it. I'm still struggling with the submission till now. I'm losing hope. |
HOLYNICEGUY:Crop your pictures around your documents. Then download and Use Qreduce lite from playstore and reduce the cropped pics to 150kb. |
Sikay19:I used olevel. But really there should be no need for the system to be congested. Like I said, this is a federal government funded site, things should be up to standard. Each person is not even uploading up to 1mb of information. Nigerian govt stuff are always marked by mediocrity and low standards smh. A private startup could even do better and have better support. The guys handling the npower account on twitter were just saying it's network, try later and then even eventually stopped replying and reassuring people. Sad tbh. |
Guru9ja:Man. Lucky you. I've been trying for almost a full day. Must've clicked the submit button over 3000 times in that period. I'm mentally exhausted by it. Just went on FB to find out there's people that have been at it for over 2 days and are still unable to finish updating. I don't get why a govt site has to be so problematic. I could go on YouTube and upload an hour long video and have no problems fgs, and that's a site with literal millions of users at any given time, with millions of terabytes of data moving around. |
Olatheo:Please did you upload your documents as jpeg or pdf? Did you get any error? I've been trying for hours now. |
Guru9ja:please when you updated your details, did you upload your documents as jpg or pdf? Did you have any issues updating your profile? Errors? |
Alfryd:I've been having the same issue since yesterday too. Over 12 hours of trying. It's from the site itself |
Uchepele:Maybe. Just check. I reduced mine from almost 2mb to 150kb and retained a lot of quality and detail. |
Alfryd:Download Qreduce lite from playstore. Then reduce your pictures to 150kb |
Can't submit to complete profile editing. After struggling for over an hour to verify BVN, I'm now struggling to submit my documents. What's wrong with this country nau. Must everything be stressful fgs |
After changing my password and logging in, I went to verify my BVN and have inputted the correct info, but it's telling me "some errors occurred". I've tried for the past few hours and even yesterday too. I'm tired. Any ideas? |
Quality20:Hiv is not feared like that anymore. These hiv drugs can surpress viral load to the point that a patient can live a normal life and have kids that won't have the virus and have sex without passing the virus to their partner. |
I'm new to html CSS. I have this html line <header> <Section> <Nav> <Ul> <Li class="sitenav"><a href="register.html">Register</a></li> </Ul> </Nav> </Section> </Header> And the CSS goes something like this .sitenav{ Border-style: solid; } But that doesn't work, all tags are closed properly and I can't seem to find the problem. If I replace the ".sitenav" selector with a regular "li" selector in my css, it works. Please anyone know what the issue could be? |
BluntNigerian:Lol. Eventually those predictions might come true. But it's just the natural way any technology dependent species would go. Eventually we'll do away with physical money and it'll all be chips and wireless transfers and AI will make life easier. |
BluntNigerian:You're blowing it out of proportion. It's like social security number in the US. There has to be a way to unify every individuals identity under one thing so you can easily get access to services. Nothing 666 about it. |
BluntNigerian:If you did national id card then you have NIN. You should only panic if you've not registered for national id card before. |
wwwkaycom:she's a full grown adult nau, I think you should've inckuded the age in the initial post as that totally chsnges views on the situation. I thought she was 18 or 19 initially and I would've said it's wrong. But since she's 22, At that age you shouldn't be expecting her to hide her relationships nau. She's old enough to even get married if she wants to( a female coursemate of mine just got married last week). I'll only say she should've informed you of someone coming over since she's also a guest at your house. And yeah, there's no issue with them going into the room, they need their privacy as couples and adults. Talk to her though about informing you before inviting a stranger over. And rather than try to scare her off relationships, your advice should be on how to keep things safe and be responsible. |
phelonrays:I'll ask if I see him again ![]() |
Possiblegee:Yeah, good idea too. Just wanted something that I could possibly do online, post online and deliver from home. |
phelonrays:I'm in SS. AKS |
Recently got some flexing cash for Christmas, but I'm not feeling like wasting money. I'm looking for business ideas I could probably start with 30 thousand naira. Things hard. |
phelonrays:This story is somehow cos I just met a guy with the upper part of his left index finger missing. |
OgaVoltron:I believe he was shot after being apprehended. No pity for him but omor the lie. They don't want to be reined in for murder themselves I guess. |
openmine:If we let him go without getting someone with his workrate and control of the game, we'll pay for it. Btw hendo, Gini, Jones is "THE" midfield. |
FarmTech:I'm just reminding those that are shouting nudity is not African blah blah that it actually is. Btw I'm not about religion, but the first step in taking away the strength of any people is to make them hate their own cultures and religions, then introduce yours, go and check all through history, that's how it's done. Now lemme shock you, bundling what you call "idol worshipping and killing of twins and other evils" actually doesn't sit well with me. Do you know how much evil has been perpetrated all through time in the name of Christianity? The crusades? One of the Bloodiest and most inhumane and longest and most repeated war in history? The witch hunts all through the middle ages when women were tagged witches and burned at the stake in the name of God? And even most recently the killing or beating or maiming of children accused of being witches in this same Nigeria and in other parts of Africa. Every culture and religion has had its evils all across time and history, it's about choosing to see which of those practices don't sit well and abandoning them. Buddhism teaches peace with others and with oneself, as do lots of other religions, just in case you feel that's why Christianity is the best religion. The level of intolerance that Nigerian theists have is out of this world, going as far as burning down religious sites and artefacts all in the name of "cleansing the land". Artefacts that should be protected and guarded and would be worth a lot as windows into the past. Do you think if we want to cleanse the world of evils commited in the name of Christianity there'll be enough oil for it? Stop hyping the white man's culture and religion blindly, select what your own morality feels is good while also being within the legal limit and go with it, and leave the next man to do same at his own discretion. Even the white people that brought the mental shackles of religion have abandoned it in favour of freedom and technological advancement, it's high time we followed suit or the world will leave us behind, it already is. And by abandoning the shackles of religion, I don't mean abandon your religion, just leave the mental prison, that is something you can do by being more tolerant of the next person, respecting their decisions and viewing your fellow people as humans first before Christians or Muslims or ogboni etc. That way we'll all get along and bring ideas together, work together for a better world. |
