Such a list should be archived and updated as at when due.
This list made me suddenly remembered that no Southwest governor handed over last year, so, they look like a saint now, but when they will be added I know the positions will be updated.
Calmly waiting to see Lagos State, Ogun state and Oyo state own.
For those shouting about missing Southwest states, it only clarified to me the crop of people I'm sharing this space with.
It is well
No need to share space with us if you are uncomfortable, you can as well quit. If not, bear it without complaint.

The thread says "former governors" who left debt for their "successors"
Nothing was said of the "last election" either. Ekiti and Osun States changed governors. No mention was made of them.

Crime › Re: The Origin Of The Ban On Spraying. by dequir: 4:05pm On Apr 17, 2024
allthingsgood:
To be honest, i believe this ban on spraying naira is a waste of time and useless idea

First of all, the money that is sprayed at parties is never dirty. If anything, spraying the naira ensures preference for clean naira notes as these are the only types that can be sprayed.

Secondly, there is nothing you can do to prevent mutilation of naira notes. As far as naira is in peoples hands, it is bound to become dirty after passing through many hands. Whether you spray it or not, it will eventually be dirty and mutilated. If you want to keep naira clean, increase its value. You hardly see mutilated dollars because when something is valuable people tend to handle it with care

Thirdly, the law is a selective law. Why are only low level celebrities been arrested. What of high level politicians and their children that pour out cash at events like waterhuh

Finally, spraying cash is part of our culture. It brings happiness to both the giver and receiver. We spray money not only to show affluence, but also gratitude and appreciation. The law is made for man, not man for the law. It appears EFCC is less busy to have time to be chasing people spraying cash
Very good salient points.

Anytime anyone of your friends or family members is doing a party, attend it and spray as much Naira as you can afford there. Then get someone to video it, and then send it to EFCC on their social media handles. And when they eventually arrests and arraigns you for prosecution, then you or your lawyer should plead these your salient points in court on your behalf. Your escape might set a precedent for other subsequent victims of this invasive law by government.

What are you celebrating? Dangote deals with wholesalers or major distributors. If he sells at 1k to them, how much will they sell to retailers and how much will retailers sell to final consumers. Las Las price will still come up to 1400 or 1500. Outside lagos 1700 or 1800. So what are we celebrating
Fortunately, your biased opinion does not matter in the final scheme of things.

You are the one crying everywhere on the thread. And your comments show your utter childishness.

But meanwhile let me use a little of my time to educate you, though I know it will be wasted on you.

When Buhari was president, he used his influence to get a top position job for his daughter at NNPC, in which some top media attacked him for. Is Buhari a poor man?

Or recently when Senator Akume, and some top politicians were accused of securing lucrative appointments for their children at CBN. And these top politicians were crying foul because their children were being transferred to Lagos from Abuja. Were these politicians poor by any standards? Therefore rich men also seek for jobs for their kids.

So I believe that answered your childish diatribe.

proeast:
Tinubu is really behaving like a drowning man, who pulls at anything he can grab, out of desperation to stay alive. All these are obviously a poorly written script.

I hate desperate people with such mentality of either I have my way or everyone perishes, that’s the height of selfishness. On one hand, I like what is happening because it’s karma at work. These Northerners knew Obi was far better than Tinubu in every aspects yet many of them allowed Tinubu to deceive them.

We warned them but they never listened, now it’s too late. The monster they fed has grown so big they can’t even control it again.

The only chance they have now is to massively support Obi. A strong coalition of Obi with another popular politician from North will sweep Tinubu away, and not even Yakubu will dare rewrite the result.

Tinubu is playing a very dangerous game. He has continued to promote Yoruba nationalism against national interests. He is doing it on purpose, so that should he be removed, they will see him as a hero and fight back, using Lagos as their base.

If Obi becomes president based on popular national mandate, tinubus plan will fail woefully. But should he complete 8 years, North will not recover from it again. The distancing of middle belt from the core North and the pervasive insecurity, coupled with collapse of their agricultural and industrial sectors have left them completely vulnerable.

Almost every northern politician, except those benefiting or working with Tinubu, are totally disappointed with him. Yet, they appear helpless. Obi becoming president in 2027, will rally SS, SE, MB and even North, as well as educated Yorubas. It will give him a pan Nigerian mandate that will enable him to effectively counter any move from Tinubu. Luckily for them, secession movements in the East has reduced drastically in recent times. So, even if Tinubu decides to resurrect Yoruba nation agitation, it will be easily curtailed.

Atiku must not be allowed to contest again, otherwise it will be a repeat of 2023.

If the North decides to act foolishly again by not supporting Obi…

Should Tinubu get re-elected in 2027….
Dreams are free.

Keep on enjoying your "Obi will win Nigeria presidency" dream until 2027 strikes you flat in the face, and you wakes up to see your nightmare back on the Nigeria presidential throne.

texazzpete:
The OP and some of you people in this thread are completely nuts.

You see parents of young, overactive kids that are in church and have no nanny to take care of the kids. So the only way they themselves can focus in God’s house is to provide some form of distraction for the kids so they don’t disturb other worshippers.

These are usually very small kids. Toddlers, even. A 2 year old kid isn’t going to learn anything momentous, and they have many more years ahead for you to do moral and religious instruction.

OP needs to mind their business and focus on the church they went to do.
You are the real nut supporting nuisance in the house of God where there should be solemnity and perfect attention to the words of God and worship without distraction by all classes of attendees, young or old.

Giving toys to children in the church to keep them quiet is a devilish form of distraction. Rather a children church should be created apart from the adult church where trained teachers would keep them engaged and quiet going through their own bible classes and worship service. That's what obtains in several churches in Nigeria.

But I heard in Europe and America they have a different God they are serving in their churches which allows all sorts of misbehaviors within the temples of God. Well everyone to his religious choices, it is the judgement day that will separate the chaffs from wheat and the goats from the sheep.

DIVINEEVIDENCE:
Obi was the best candidate among the three leading parties.

Igbos would have given Osinbajo the same number of votes instead of Obi, if he were in the race.

Even if Peter Obi doesn't contest in 2027, pick out the best candidate from the three leading parties, that is who Igbos will vote irrespective of his tribe.

Igbos can give block votes to Hausa or Fulani or Igbo or Yoruba, depending on the character of the flagbearer the main parties fielded.

That's why Igbos are always accused of not knowing how to play politics.
They don't vote for alignment, projections and political correctness; they vote the best candidate.
Which Igbos are you talking about? The ones in Nigeria, who are highly tribalistic who voted 99% for their son, Obi, or the ones in your dreamland?

Stop deceiving yourself. Was Obi the best candidate in the last election, and with what parameters did you arrived at that assessment?

The Igbos that I know have only been voting PDP since the beginning of this present political experiment, except for Anambra which choose APGA because of Ojukwu. And also for the last presidential election where they all voted LP because of Obi.

Meanwhile the other tribes have been transversing between multiple parties for both governorship and presidential elections. Whether PDP, APP, ACN, LP, AD and APC, you find the Yorubas and the Hausas moving from one to the others to elect the candidates of their choice, but never the Igbos.
