PoliticsAn Open Letter To Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor And Pastor Tunde Bakare. by Dereformer(op): 10:02am On Jul 26, 2013
Sirs,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May the Good Lord continue to strengthen you as you speak out against the lies, deceit, bigotry and impunity that characterize this Nation called Nigeria.

I address this to you this day because you are among the few fearless Men of God who stand by the truth. You have in the past spoken on many issues that most men of God dread to talk about for fear of falling out of favour with the powers that be. You have shown to stand by the oppressed and to fight the cause of the down-trodden. May Almighty Jesus richly bless you.

Sirs, we christians are NOT cowards neither are we afraid of death especially dieing in God's course. We have held ourselves in spite of the glaring provocations from our moslem brothers. We have been killed, yet we did not retaliate, our houses have been burnt, yet we maintain our calm, our sisters have been abducted, yet we adhered to the teachings of our elders and the precepts of Christs teachings.

Sirs, the recent abduction of some christian sisters by the etsu nupe is indeed disheartening and calls for legal action. The action of the etsu nupe goes to show how demonic these people are.
Why would full grown women be abducted and forced through hypnosis to embrace islam? Why would adult women be prevented from seeing their parents? Why are men not being held in the palace of the etse nupe?

Sirs, Nigeria is a circular state and as such no other law should exist apart from that made by the state. What is sharia court? Why will the federal government allow a section of the country to practice laws and rules some sections of which is at variance with state laws?

The last revolution we saw in Egypt is as a result of the president giving too much relevance to Islam even when Egypt is a secular state. I do not pray for such revolution in Nigeria but the action of Islamic clerics and their followers makes this inevitable.

The late leader of Libya, colonel Mamman Gadafi, gave an all-time-best suggestion that would end these incessant carnage in Nigeria. He suggested dividing the country along Christian and Islamic lines. I cannot agree less with this man. We have show beyond doubt that we cannot cohabit. Take a look at the numerous religious riots and killings that have happened in this country since independence. It is always moslems killing at the slightest provocation. A supposedly derogatory film was shot about mohammed in America, riot broke out in Nigeria. Things happen in far away countries and continents and our moslem brother maim, kill and destroy in Nigeria.

For how long shall we continue to play gently in a land that the Almighty gave to us. Isreal is what it is today by dealing with enemies squarely, and not by waiting for GOD.

We are looking up to both of you. Unite us. If you advice that we keep calm while these people ravage us, so be it. We are not taught to go against the words of our elders. However, we still pray and ask God to touch our brothers to abhor violence, to understand we are all humans.

It beats my imagination that the yoruba moslems are docile why the northern moslems are eratic. Why? Why is this so.

Lastly sirs, I suggest that Christian Association Nigeria should institute a legal action against etse nupe. Even if the girls converted to Islam and needs protection, they should be protect by the police or their fathers should be made to sign an undertaking not to harm those girls.

UNITE US SIR.

From me,

Dereformer.

Truth is if GEJ doesn't contest, he will be declared a persona non grata in the south south.

Please let Nigeria disintegrate for the following reasons:

1. no fulani cattle will ravage my farm land again
2. No more islamic terrorism
3. no more child marriage
4. we will fully realize our potentials
5. no more 2 cut-off mark for lazy while we are given 200
6. we will forever live happily
7. why will three individuals with no cultural, social, or religious relations be asked to stay together?

Christianity EtcRe: Must Tithe Be Paid In Church??? by Dereformer(m): 4:02pm On Jul 24, 2013
presiade: I grab your point, but is it really possible to eat of one's tithe in the church setting of today (especially in Nigeria)? cheesy
Yes, tithe MOST not be in money. If you read the passage I gave above, you will notice that the instruction is buy anything with the money, apples, meat, oranges, fried fish, bread anything. Bring it to the church, or you can buy those within the church premises, but ensure that it is share and you take your own.

Look, this can be practiced, but pastors these days will not tell you the truth especially where their pockets are involved.

Imagine Prophet Urbert Angel saying God told him if you don't pay tithe you go to hell.

My question is, why is it that Jesus never taught about tithing, but he mentioned and monitored normal church offering?
Christianity EtcRe: Why Is It That Nigerian Women Are More Spiritual Than Nigerian Men? by Dereformer(m): 3:26pm On Jul 24, 2013
It is because they are easily deceived.
Christianity EtcRe: Must Tithe Be Paid In Church??? by Dereformer(m): 3:24pm On Jul 24, 2013
presiade: Malachi 3:10a says: 'Bring you all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat(food) in My HOUSE...
Psalms 68:5 says: '(God) A FATHER to the FATHERLESS, and a judge (defender) of the WIDOW, IS God in His holy HABITATION (HOUSE).
James 1:27 says: 'Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the FATHERLESS (AND MOTHERLESS- ORPHANS) and WIDOWS in their affliction [NEEDS]...
By all the foregoing scriptures, can we conclude that paying Tithes is not limited to church; tithescould also be taken to a motherless homes and to widows so that there would be much food in God's house (since God is the Father and defender of Orphans and widows respectivelym their houses must therefore, be God's) You get the logic?
NOTE: I want a serious discussion on this topic not just vain babbles.
Thanks.
Bro. take your tithe to the church and ENSURE YOU EAT THEREOF as instructed by God in Deuteronomy 14: 22-26

So long as the present pastors do not allow one to eat of his tithe, I will never pay. I will rather give it to the motherless.

Christianity EtcRe: Fatal Argument: Your Views Are Needed by Dereformer(op): 8:40am On Jul 24, 2013
FrostyZonn: @OP, your question wasn't really necessary. Pastors are celebrities by default, whether they like it or not. By a mere definition of a celebrity, which is a famous or well known person, you can see they fall well inside that category(atleast in the eyes of their adoring congregations).

That been said, it doesn't make them materialistic or flamboyant. You don't expect someone that is a pubic figure to dress in rags, do you?
A man once told me that a good man of God should not be richer than the poorest member of his church. I didn't understand the import of this statement at that time, but now it is clearer.

Try and figure this out.
PoliticsRe: My Farm Has Been Destroyed By Fulani Cows by Dereformer(m): 4:50pm On Jul 23, 2013
bilms: MY FARM HAS BEEN DESTROYED BY FULANI COWS. It is almost 2years now that i decided to own a farm, where cassava, yam and other farm produce will be produced. I invested some little funds as a beginer to understand the agricultural business before going big and everything move as planned. One of my reasons to start a farm is to be able to acquire practical knowledge about agro business and educate others to take the path as a means of creating employment and empowerment. Having succesfully started the farm and kept in custody of an helper who reside not too far away from the farm,i was expecting to complete my pilot scheme in this second year to determine what next to do. But it was a suprise to get to the farm over the weekend after receiving a call from the helper and meet all the farm destroyed by animals (cows). According to the helper in charge, some Fulani men directed their multitude of cows into the farm and destroyed the whole thing. No wonder their is always crisis involving Fulani herdsmen.
Good morning, One Nigeria. Oh I remember Ojukwu.

Can u pls answer the question on holy trinity, while we wait for pastor?
Please see above. I didn't quote correctly.
Christianity EtcRe: What Is The Difference Between Jesus And God? by Dereformer(m): 12:49pm On Jul 23, 2013
[quote author=Ezegozie]pastor, thank you for the answer, @tleast i am now made to understand the concept.

Judging from the fact that you are a pastor. Can you please explain the HOLY TRINITY for me. It seems confusing.

The holy trinity is all about
(1) GOD THE FATHER
(2)GOD THE SON
(3)GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT

Please, i need and explanation of this holy trinity.

Even though you directed this question to pastor Tolu T., i am going to attempt an answer.

I have a set in my house. In the set you have radio, cd and cassette. None of these can be detached from the set. If you are playing the radio, the set is playing, if you are playing the cd, the set is playing, and if you are playing the cassette, the set is also playing.

Now the question, Do I have 3 sets? Answer is no.

This simple analogy can explain the concept of Trinity but not in its entirety. For me,I take The names Mighty Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit to mean the same personality i.e GOD. And each time i call on any of the names, God comes answering.

These are my views. Other views are welcome.

Christianity EtcRe: What Is The Difference Between Jesus And God? by Dereformer(m): 11:02am On Jul 23, 2013
I can go on and on. Jesus has on certain occasion forgiven someone's sin without recourse to the father. The pharisees questioned His authority to forgive sin and He proved it to them by healing the guy instantaneously.

Jesus did many things that unquestionably and evidently and beyond doubt proves that He is God.
Christianity EtcRe: What Is The Difference Between Jesus And God? by Dereformer(m): 10:52am On Jul 23, 2013
@ Ezegozie.

Always take the actions and teachings and words of Jesus as God telling us how to live, what to say, and our response to all life situation.

Believe me, Jesus would have said, 'you cup of suffering pass by me' and it would pass. Again Jesus would have said, ' I forgive you for you know not what you do', and they will be forgiven.

Next time a moslem comes up with this argument, remind him/her what happened at the cross. Jesus told one of the two criminals crucified with him, " today shall thou be with me in paradise". Jesus did not say " Father, I want this man to be with me in paradise.

In summary, there are circumstances Jesus asserted his authority as God, and there are circumstances He merely, showed what to say if faced with similar challenges.

Sometime last month I was into some financial difficulties, had malaria and I prayed Father let this cup pass by me however, let your will be done.

Please, how do you copy and paste what others have said before responding?
Christianity EtcWhat Is The Relationship Between Falling Down And Miracle by Dereformer(op): 10:35am On Jul 23, 2013
Please can anybody explain this to me. Why is it that you must fall down before a miracle is assumed to have been performed or a demon is taken to have been cast out?

Christianity EtcFatal Argument: Your Views Are Needed by Dereformer(op): 9:06am On Jul 23, 2013
Last Sunday, I went to a nearby drinking joint to buy drinks for my visitors. On getting close to the place i noticed that the whole area was in commotion. Upon inquiry, I was told that there was a mild argument which led to other things that resulted in a serious fight.

What was the argument? I asked.

The man narrating the incidence to me told me that while a group of boys were drinking, a pastor came in, bought a can of malt and left. The argument started at that point.

One boy said, 'pastors are now celebrities'. The other said no, pastors cannot be classified as celebrities. This lead to an attempt to define who a celebrity is?

The first boy insisted that anyone who performs while others are watching, and who gets load ovation from a cheering spectators is nothing but a celebrity. He went further to explain that the common thing between Ronaldinho and Pastor Urbert Angel is that both receive cheers from a watching crowd.

He also explained that every celebrity has a an insatiable desire for flamboyant and lavish life style. 'Can't this be said of pastors who were expensive cloths, ride exotic cars, even air planes'. He asked.

The second boy, argued that pastors are meant to live a quiet life. According to him, pastors or men of God are expected to maintain a modest life style; a life of prayer and supplication to God at all time according to the prophets of old.

Several definitions were proffered, dictionaries were consulted, opinions were sought and before long it degenerated into name calling. And unexpectedly, a serious fight ensued.

After this narration, I could not but laugh at the remote cause of the fight.

But seriously, Are today's Pastors celebrities? Your views are welcome.

This is why I keep saying something must be wrong with Islam. Asari dokubo said toddler marriage is the right of Moslems.

I served in the north, what I saw during those days made me conclude that if Nigeria disintegrate, the North will suffer seriously.

Nine in every twelve teenage girls were pregnant at that time. It was during my stay there that I heard of an ailment called VVF suffered by teenage girls as a result of pregnancy.

In terms of education, in 100 years to come the north will be nowhere close to the south; even if their cut-off mark for admission is reduced to 1 from the current 2.

Child abuse is what our Islamic senators want to legalize in this country.

Every well meaning Nigerian should say no to this.

On the alternative, child abuse should be legalized in the north.
