Me: Yes, i worked out a 10 days visit to LA and Long beach.

Vo: How long have u been in UAE:
Me: just about 3 years

VO: How long have you been working with this company?
Me: 1 yr

Vo: Are you traveling alone?
Me: yes

Vo: Are you Married?
Me: No na, (Smiles)

Vo: Whats your Job Description.
Me: i am a Technical Support Engineer , responsible for *******************************

Vo: Do you have plans of returning after your trip?
Me: (laughs) unless something terrible happens to me in California, like the wildfire burning down my hotel while asleep.

Vo: Who is sponsoring your trip.
Me: I am sponsoring my self.

Vo: how come you visited **** country twice in 2 months.
Me: I was on a business trip and saw something i liked and decided to revisit again to have a get away because i couldn't do business and pleasure at same time.

Vo: brought out the white paper and said am approving your visa and circles where i would pickup my passport.

Thanks to you all. would drop my experience at the POE once i make the trip.

Thanking you both for your assistance in this forum. I will be very glad if my question can be given an urgent attention. I heard several times in this great forum regards to one having a strong ties like owning a house or plots of land. Please my question is :

(1) how can an applicant let the VO knows that he owns some plots of land or house if the VO didn't ask for that during the interview

Am asking this because I didn't see such question in the DS 160 form

I will appreciate your kind response to this question of mine.

Thanks DereI. Your answer number 2 nailed my worries. But if I go ahead and pay for another visa fee and paradventure this agent truly paid as he claimed. What problems or issues will I face with the CLASH of informations you mentioned since my passport number remains the same? Honestly, I don't want to call the man again as I really want to let the pain of the money die naturally with time. I'm ready to start afresh. Kindly elaborate on that aspect of CLASH of informations and it's consequences.

Sorry guys. I should have updated you since.
I tried calling them yesterday but wasted #900 without success. I was on hold for about 50 minutes.
I got a mail that I have an update in my account this morning.
Voila. The PPR mail was sent into my account. Thank you Lord
Here is my timeline.
AOR - 21 Sept
Medical Passed - 29 Sept
NA2 - 06 Oct
IP2 - 16 Oct ( That's when I checked)
PPR - 20 Oct
Single applicant. No travel history.
My application was not flawless but it can only be God. Thank you Lord.
1. There is a discrepancy in DOB on my ECA. I obtained an Attestation of Birth Certificate from NPC and attached an LOE.
2. 2 million was transfered into the POF account as gift deed a day before submission.

It can only be God.

I had my passport stolen last year with expired visa for UK.schnghen.southafŕica and dubai.However I have been reissued a new passport and I want to apply for US visa.
Please what are my chances as my passport now is virgin.

Many thanks to the gurus on this thread, finally was able to complete reading from part 1, part 2 and on part 3 of this thread today. And I must say it's really overwhelming. You guys really rock.

Please I need you guys to assist me on the issues I'm having right now.

Before I stumbled on the first part of this thread three months ago, I have paid an 'agent' agent of credibility destruction for USA processing visa and documentations with my valid documents. After I read over 150 pages on part 1 and discovered I can do it on my own I immediately called the agent on the excuse of work tight schedules to purse every processing though he claimed to have paid my visa fee B1B2 cos I've already paid him sum of ₦110k.

Fast forward to last week since I'm well equipped on this great forum, I called and met with him to let him know I am no longer interested in traveling again and that he should only hand over the visa application bank slip to me and he shouldn't worry about the excess I've paid him. His countenance changed and was so furious but control himself cos I didn't ask him to give me the balance after payment of visa fee.

What he handed over to me was only login to ds-160 form with the security questions and answers on: 1} ds-160 number. 2} first 5 letters of my surname. 3} date of birth and 4} what city did you meet your spouse. I logged in into my ds-160 form with those informations he provided but found out that the agent just filled in lies contrary to my true informations I gave him outrighly but the form is yet to be completed and submit.

Now my questions.
1} Please is it possible for me to continue or ignore the filled ds-160 form and start a new one since it has not be submitted? If not possible how can I changed the ds-form security questions and answers so that the agent won't have access to it?

2} since he refused to release my bank slip to me and also claimed he already booked an appointment for me for Dec 7th. Can I ignore him with it and start afresh on my own paying for another visa application fee? Since I don't care about the lost money to him again to save my credibility from stain.

Lastly is it possible one booked appointment before submission of ds-form as the agent claimed

Please I need candid advice and opinions from the gurus. I really want to abide by the teachings on this forum to stand by the truth and the truth alone. But my worries are if this agent won't go ahead and manipulate my informations at my back. I don't care about the money I've wasted. What I want now is to protect my integrity not to start looking for ways to amend or redeem it later in the name of confession.

Please My interview is coming a week from today, i have two question please.

1. Am supposed to go for the interview with the payment receipt, all i got was the debit Alert from my bank showing my passport number, DoB and Name, is that all i need? or am supposed to get another official receipt?

2. I intend visiting California but cos of the wildfire, am changing the plans for my vacation to another state. cos i cannot just go and kill myself there, Please what can i do about it?

LadyGuinivere and all the kind contributors please advice. My wife and I plan to have our babies(twins) in the US due in may 2018, we got married in this year so our passports bare single status. For our honeymoon we traveled to Dubai (our only travel experience ). I run a training agency, while my wife works in a bank.

We are told that we can either apply now for Christmas vacation, make the travel before the end of December. And then travel with the same visa in may for delivering.
Or
Apply for medical visa, providing proof of contact with a doctor(which we don't have) and wait till may to travel.

Please which is better? Traveling in December is not very convenient, but if its a better option we can take it.
If the medical visa is better, please can anyone help us with doctors and requirements we should have handy while applying.
We have family in Houston Texas, should we ask for invitation and if yes, what should be the format?

I have some few questions to ask please... I'm an nurse here in Nigeria, under 30years but I have not been working for awhile due to the lack of employement state in Nigeria. I can only prove work experience of 6months, but husby has been working for years so he can prove years of employement of more than 10years but he will soon pass the 39years age range( meaning if he doesn't apply b4 he clocks 40, his points will be reduced, thereby reducing his chances of applying).. Please, who do think should apply knowing that I dont have the required experience needed and my husby's age will soon be above the age range 39 in less than 6months..

2] if eventually one of us will be the primary applicant, is it a must for the second person to do IELTS and ECA..?

Back to more important things.

I received the golden mail this morning. It is PPR people! God has just been so faithful. Wrote to them yesterday evening Nigerian time and they responded that it was in Ottawa and hasn't been finalized yet. Only to wake up to the golden mail this morning. Don't know if they work over night in the Ottawa office.

19days from AOR to PPR. It can only be God. I put the barest minimum I could put (apart from the bank reference letters). Didn't provide a single bank statement. Didn't include payslips and appointment letters. Had plenty travel history for both my husband and I. I had nearly all my funds in my husband's account. God just covered over any mistakes as none were intentional.

ITA = 9th Aug
AOR=11th sept.
MEDP= 21st sept.
IP1 = 22nd sept.
NA2 = 27th Sept
IP2 = 29th sept.
PPR = 30th sept.

Will send my passports once I return to my house next week.

ECA - Sept 13
ECA mail- Sept 20th

So I guess the 9-10 weeks processing time is from when your transcripts was received. They Re just so lYe in sending the acknowledgement email.
