bimbodelebite: CIC are funny oo.i applied may 17 2017 for sept intake, online with upfront medical ,Pgd International bus.Tru bc.up tillow no response and somone applied for winter get response yesterday.i think something is going on.written to them no response.God must do something before thursday . My second time now ,even now no biometrics request ,hoping they merged the first one use in previos application .pls house comments oooo This is really odd. This is the first time I'm seeing such an application. Every new application requires a new biometric. And receives a new application number. The only thing that remains the same is the UCI number. Go back to your online application, check for a message that appears below after clicking VIEW on your submitted application. I'm sorry to say this but I sincerely think your application is NOT been processed because you did not do a biometric |

wealth360: Long post. It was actually a long trip expecially the time spent in Casablanca (7hrs) doing nothing but as a sharp guy I started jacking some mails sent from school, my tablet couldn't connect to the free WiFi, thank God I was with@ Ejaloni (used his phone to chat up my wife and family) and Mr Smith but Mr Smith left for Vancouver through London. Royal Air Maroc isn't bad at all. After 7hrs stop over at casablaca , we boarded again to our first port of entry into Canada (Montreal). The journey took 7hrs 20mins to get to Montreal. Be ready to fill a declaration form on the plane before you reach Montreal, please always travel with a pen very important. Another observation is that be simple in your dressing especially your footwear becos if you put on big shoes at each point from Nigeria immigration you will be checked and you will be required to pull them off. Very stressful. Back to the port of entry: so sweet. Canada fine share. Officer: bonjour monsuier Me: Bonjour sir, I don't speak French. Officer: smile oh sorry. Why are y here? Me: study Officer: where please Me: University of Saskatchewan Officer: to study what? Me: Mechanical Engineering Officer: first degree? I said No Officer: have you been working as an engineer before? I said yes Officer: how much cash do you have? I declared Officer: any food stuff? Me: yes ooooo. What? Garri, fish......He asked smoke or dry? I said smoke. Officer: go to immigration 2 for your study permit.
Study permit collected. I can also work on and off campus. Please bring two rounded pin plug charger and a 1 rounded and 2 flat pin plug charger so you don't get bored at any airport of stop over.
More update on the way. Congrats bro....May His grace continue to shine upon you. |

Issyman: This is for all waiting for ECA report from IQAS. I called their customer service some mins ago and the information the lady gave me shocked and decide to inform others too in order to make a good decision. The rep.told me that they are still working on transcripts received up to July 18th while 19th and above still on queue. More over, the 9 to 10 weeks processing period starts when they send u acknowledgement mail. Also, for fresh applications that are yet to receive the first mail, they are still on July 28th. So if your application is yet to be keyed into their system, we are free to apply for refund of the of application fee excluding the courier fees. Thought it's worth sharing as I am applying for the refund asap. Hmmmm...nawa ooo. Mine got to them on the 9th of August. Its well ooo....Lets be watching them like Mnet |

Algbenguze: It's the job duties that matter not the title. If you can merge your job duties under one of the several titles you had, better so long as it matches the duties of an Administrative Assistant. If it's within the same organization and your reference letter can carry it as stated, you're good. Oh thank you. Its the same organization |

Algbenguze: Please remember your job duties and that of the chosen NOC only have to match 70%. If you can get reference letter(s) to meet this requirement, you are good to go. Please explain further. For instance, take a look at this, I have different job positions under one NOC. Do I need to choose different NOCs to show different positions? 1241 Administrative assistants Administrative assistants perform a variety of administrative duties in support of managerial and professional employers. Algbenguze: A quick one guys: Can medicals be done upfront (before ITA)? Please I'm not asking if it's advisable or not. I know it's valid for a year within which one has to have landed. Are there any other implications other than risk of expiry? Thanks. Medical exams You must have a medical exam before you apply. Your family members must also have one, even if they aren’t coming with you. We won’t approve your permanent resident application if your health: is a danger to Canada’s public health or safety would cause too much demand on health or social services in Canada When the panel physician completes the medical exam, they will give you an: information printout sheet IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form You must provide a copy of these documents when you apply online. Don’t complete your medical exam until you get your invitation to apply. The results of your exam must be valid at the time you submit your application for permanent residence. For this reason, it is a good idea to complete the exam as close as possible to the date you submit your online application.http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp |
