^^^^+ 100% Mr. Gull, you should be happy that, while Nigeria is not USA, we are making progress nontheless in the practice of democracy. We are playing by the rules and allowing the courts resolve constitutional questions. You should join us in these exciting times. If you believe we need some instruction, please give us some guidance right here and now, else you stand a chance of being sent egbe ndi Abriba to piafuka gi 'one or two parts of your anatomy'
If the aforementioned defections were nationally uniform rather than represent the known evil axis, I would have given it a benefit of doubt. Nobody makes progress in democracy through political party defection. It is a mark of political irresponsibility and symptoms of vacillation prohibited in the exercise of democracy. However, I guess Nigerians will rely on the dictates of 1999 Constitution pertaining to defection. |
The earlier GEJ realizes that he cannot be saved by Tukur, Asari-Dokubo, or any of his 'trusted' advisers including Okupe and Abati, the better for him. His Party is crumbling right in front of his eyes, while he keeps mum, hoping for a miracle from the likes of Adeboye, Oritsejafor, and TB Joshua instead of jumping in the fight and fighting like a man. Only 9 more defectors to APC are needed before the house is lost to APC. If he is wise he'd start spending some of the billions they've stashed away for 2015 for PR and other 'encouragements' of PDP members who are currently on the fence or he'll find out that he may not even have the opportunity to contest in 2015. The President is proving to be a very ineffective and weak tactician and loser. If this man cannot lead effectively in fighting Boko Haram, in keeping his PDP intact, in taking decisive steps to curb blatant theft and corruption within his cabinet members, why the hell can't he just resign? We Nigerians most definitely deserve much better than this. What a shame!!!
I have long concluded that most Nigerians are not fit to sit in a room where democracy is discussed talk less practice the system of government. It is unfortunate the above post appears to confirm my belief. |
mu2sa2: Gej exhibited weak, clueless leadership by failing to arrest the crisis within pdp. We are not even talking about national issues of corruption, insecurity, collapse of infrastructure etc left unaddressed. For his incompetence, now is the payback time for the erstwhile shoeless fellow. You have written like a dingbat that does not belong a democratic society. It only in Nigeria that the president is regarded as owner of a political party. Please try to understand that each political party has a national chairperson and executive working committee. |
edoyad: Internet scholars and their usual skewered views of issues at hand. In this very corrupt nation where the people running the Govt are more concerned with buying bullet proof limousines and private jets than they are with the welfare of common man, how effective would your army be?This is one of the reasons I said that weaponry is a totally different ballgame from military strategies including welfare of the soldiers. |
Aboki, please Ibos are free to form their sovereign states. But there is a problem: -Are they willing to let free non-Ibo groups in the SS region decide for themselves WITHOUT coercing them to join their new nation? -Are they willing to accept the consequences that will follow their separation e.g confiscation of their assets in Western & other regions, Imposition of tax regimes that may not favor them in the West, etc. BRO, WITH ALL SINCERITY OF HEART , If Ibos will accept these two Herculean tasks, especially the second one , I tell you that Yorubas will be their staunchest protagonists for their new home. !!
Are you a slow learner? We are talking about Republic of Igbo land and you are busy talking about coercing somebody. |
Donmams: I pity these biafrans. They say those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it. They think they are better than south sudan. Rubbish. The only reason the igbos are united now is because they are fighting a common enemy which is the north. Once they get their country they'll hurriedly turn on each other. It will be a bloodbath. In any case the igbos, with the help of GEJ are trying to reenact 1966 here already. Let someone tell the fools that the same destiny shall befall them as it did their grandparents. As a matter of fact even worse. The citizens of Republic of Igbo land will not have time to turn on each other when there are Republic of Oodua and Islamic Republic of Caliphate to be subdued. |
Someone should tell OBJ that most of us from Imo State do not find the phrase-“I am on a rescue mission” funny any longer. |
funkybaby: I know.If you want to declare Borno State as an enemy territory, Nigerian armed forces can achieve the same result as seen during ECOMOG operation. |
Magic Bishop: They are on the same par.I say no with regards to warfare and military engagement. Nigeria in ECOMOG took a side with group that has a defined area of military operation. Boko Haram seem to appear everywhere without areas delineated for military operation. In most cases, in quarters and villages regarded as friendly. |
Magic Bishop: As things stand now, the Military is in shambles. The officers and men are generally undisciplined and ill trained. There are also many sympathizers within the military officer corp and personnel than there is dirt on the streets of Bujumbura .You are spot on the bolded. Even the rank and file of the Nigerian army can make a parade team of certain country's elite squad. |
funkybaby: This does not answer my question.ECOMOG operation was totally different from the case of Boko Haram. |
Onlytruth: Dede you fail my hand o.Bros try to separate weaponry from other military strategy. |
Onlytruth: So, you mean that Nigeria with MORE maritime resources cannot buy a sub while South Africa has three (the last time I checked)Bros you want our sons to run aground at the depth-less Atlantic Ocean in Submarine. Nigerians can not maintain Toyata Pickup truck talk less Submarine. |
Dede1, this is the FIRST and possibly ONLY? sensible comment you've ever made and I say congratulations! Now don't fall back into disrepair and heresy, you hitherto essence! No come start fight again oo
Madam Oriago cum Mukina1 & 2 & 3,How bodi? It is unfortunate comments you are manipulatively conditioned to hear are termed sensible by you. Seriously, I am not surprise at you. ![]() |
funkybaby: Really? There no power that can absolutely defeat a home grown terrorism with overwhelming local support. Boro Haram does not have uniform, base or defined command structure. There could be few Boko Haram on this forum as we debate. |
Onlytruth: I hope you are sure o. I say this because when Abacha was in charge, the budget then was around $2 -3 billion, and our GDP then was around $66 billion.Nigeria has enough to defend itself. |
I have long known Nigeria as a dead-end entity hence my incurable agitation for disintegration. The fifty questions alleged to have presented to the minister of finance by the certain members of NASS during committee session is mark of wanton idiocy. |
seanet01: Dendemor0n.seen a fool1 |
berem: don't be surprised he hasn't been to Imo State for ages. Arguing with such an ignoramus is a total waste of time.I am not surprised that a dirty and filthy Osaka swine such as you visits Imo State only in December. It speaks volume about a drooling dimwit that domiciles in Lagos State. It is a thing of Internet forum that an incorrigible scamp such as you have the audacious pedigree to call someone ignoramus. You might have found your way to Mallam Rochas Okorocha's bed however I have held court with the doofus. |
Abagworo: You might have lost touch with reality of situation in Imo State today. Maybe your judgement is based on media campaign against Rochas.I am shockingly worried what a cheap contract has done to your usual stream of thought. A person that spends good money to visit home and stay in touch with happenings in Imo State can not be adjudged as someone who lives off the clips of obscure newspapers. I have argued before Mallam Rochas Okorocha and few honorable members of IMHA that the mixture of concrete and corrugated Iron sheets does not equate to progress. Granted that good network of roads are major stay in the drive for economic development, the need to develop the mind of our people structurally through humble demeanor of our leaders should not be overlooked. |
Abagworo: Why are you then always writing like you don't really know all these places. I guess its Omademe in Ikwerre that you wrote as Umuademe. Maybe you've not come home for a while. Are you based in Imo State or Nigeria?Yes, I have known the place as Umuademe not Omademe. The same goes for Obigbo not Oyigbo. I refuse to play into the Ikwerri inherent foolishness of denial. I know your maternal home is within the neighborhood so I beg your pardon. Whether I am based in the Moon or Imo State, what difference does it make? |
berem: After you usual spewing of gibberish, you are still an old senile fool. Go get yourself cured of your senility which is a curse in your lineage. Get it cured quickly before you pass it to your children and grandchildren. Anu mpama!!I am not known to indulge in acts of putting down fellow human beings despite coming from well structured background. Believe me you come across like those "wannabes" run girls and clothed dingbats found in Nigeria with "phuck up" as a constant feature on their lips. I have always encouraged them to drop such stinking habit. I should not be surprised if you are one of the chips. To call you an Iti boribo or Anu Ugboko is an insult to Aturu. |
Abagworo: So you are not even from Imo State. Every Rivers man and Imo man knows Otamiri as much as Orashi. They are the two most important Rivers that join Imo with their related Rivers people in Etche and Ogba.In your previous post, you mentioned Owerre metropolis. I have canoed along Otamiri and Orashi at Oguta and Osu Obodo. I have family and childhood friends from both Oguta and Osu. In addition, I was raised in Port Harcourt and Obigbo. I have canoed along Imo River from Odagwa in Etche to Azumini in Ukwu East. I canoed across Otemiri at Umuagwoo to Ituoha on my way to Umuademe my aunts marital home. There are landed properties that belonged to my family at Wetheral/School, Old Market Road, Douglass Road, Works Layout and Federal Aviation quarters. How Imo State could I not be? My village is, at least, 16 kilometers removed from center point of Wetheral/Okigwe Rds. |
berem: You should get lost you old deranged fool! Who the phuck are you to tell me not to post comments? Are you crazy or something? See who's discussing about issues bothering Imo state. Have you ever in your miserable life say anything good about Imo state? Bloody scumbag! Now phuck off and quit quoting me! Ewu ohia!!I have always relished the idea that jackasses on this forum call me old. Truth of the matter is that I had been well read and traveled person. When barely 17, I had mingled and dined with people of substance on both sides of sexes. There is no doubt craziness is a common feature in your idiotic lineage. You are basically a dirty scalawag compared to those ladies that have waited for me. I shall reduce myself to your imbecilic and inconsequential level if I should attempt to table good things I have done for Imo State. It is very sad you have displayed a rotten character unbecoming of a good nurtured Igbo girl with a structured background by frequently using unprintable languages such as "phuck off" reserved for junkies and never-do-well found around grottoes in USA. Should I also remind you that a dumbass such as you have never cross any delineated lines marked as borderlines of Nigeria talk less setting foot in USA. |
Abagworo: Let me start with bridges. He has constructed 4 bridges across Nworie River and One across Otamiri River making it a total of 5 within Owerri metropolis. Please Nworie can only be a river to delusional sycophant. Where is Otamiri situated in or around Owerre? |
Abagworo: Not necessarily but we have to analys any budgets constructively. The truth is that Jonathan's ambition is being threatened by Rochas popularity hence the attempts at painting him black by repeatedly telling lies and sponsoring people in the social media to act like the lies are true. This was predicted earlier in a link which I posted dated March 2013 and you can notice how it correlated with the era of Amaechi fracas and removal of Imo deputy Governor. What are the achievements you are on about Mallam Rochas Okorocha and 21/2 (two and half) years? |
berem: A beautiful thread has suddenly turned to an Imo-Anambra feud. May God have mercy on Ndi Igbo. When critical and substantive issues bordering on economy, politics and development of Imo State are discussed, I suggest you get lost. ![]() |
Obiagu1: Must you always distort the truth? The more one ages, the more one gains wisdom but yours seems to be the reverse. It is as result of cheap and nepotistic contract awarded to him by the goofy folks in Imo State and Rivers State. |
Abagworo: Which city in the Southeast is comparable to Owerri today? Are you remotely insinuating that Mallam Rochas Okorocha's reign in Imo State necessitated the 5-star rating of hotel in Owerre? You are a load of conjectural craps. The mallam's Lemode Hotel on Ugwu Ike Negbu can not attract 1-star rating talk less of tourists. You are simply delusional. |
berem: gang of looters? You think I am like you who ganged up with Ohakim to loot Imo State treasury thereby hating Rochas because he blocked the access in which you and your sibling siphoned Imo state monies through Ohakim? Sorry to disappoint you nwoke m, my love for Rochas surpasses being paid to be a sycophantI know your love for Mallam Rochas Okorocha has already been paid but the part of sycophancy is still debatable. I have never seen Ohakim in human nature so if Ohakim has not settled you for your runs, please endeavor to contact him and leave me out of such crap. |
Ngwanu, I removed sanusi from the title but I still believe that this committee would not have been put in place had Sanusi not written the letter. We all should be up in arms against these thieves. It saddens me that we allow petty tribalism to get in the way.
It is good to see you put on a thinking cap as you have changed the caption of the thread. Please apply this rare wisdom in other discussions bordering on goodness of the inhabitants of the geographical expression known as Nigeria. |
Mr. Gull, you are absolutely correct that the audit I referenced wa not as a result of Sanusi's letter. What I am saying is that Sanusi's letter contributed in a major way to the formation of a special commitee/task force charged with recovering the unremitted funds. Here is Vanguard newspapers headline to the same story: Missing oil revenue: FG beams searchlight on oil and gas sector I submit to you that, if this committee does its job, it will recover the $10 - 15billion exposed by Sanusi as well. Get your facts straight. It appears as if fowl yansh don open.
You are correct about the committee doing its job well however it will fetch Nigeria another apology from Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. I guess one good turn deserves another. |
