Since Trump cannot dispel the fact he withheld foreign aid unless they can find dirt on his opponent, he now want to expose the identity of a whistle-blower so he can get him killed.

Is Trump not aware anonymity of a whistleblower is protected by law?
Mr Trump's knowledge only revolves around money. This should tell you that the man knows nothing about law/politics and administration. He is not intellectually fit to be the POTUS

Foreign AffairsRe: Gorbachev Revealed Real Reason Behind Soviet Union's Collapse by dermmy(m):
mysticwarrior:
do you really expect a man like Gorbachev to be as iron fisted like Stalin who starved 30 million soviets to death? Gorbachev was a very compassionate man who has human sympathy in his heart, he withdrew Soviet forces from Afghanistan due to the atrocities committed there, he wasn't man who see the killings of people as a means to demonstrate toughness, he was an intelligent man
I don't support dictatorship or killing of people. I know Stalin was a monster but he was able to keep the republic together in the face of antagonism from the capitalist entente countries likewise Nikita Kruschev and Leonid Breznev.

This is cold war politics bro, an era where both sides were actively seeking to undermine its opponent influence and you can't afford to be weak because you don't want to be seen as a monster. U.S was monstrously vicious during the cold war sponsoring coup in other countries especially countries that were inching towards socialism infact U.S had plans to nuke China during the Cuban missile crisis.

When the union experience an external interference during the hungarian revolution in 1956 the revolution was crushed by Nikita. Same thing America would do when its capitalist client state was inching towards socialism. I don't have to explain why U.S intervened in the Vietnam war with a crushing response even though it failed.

Let's take a look at the Prague spring 1968 the liberalization policies of Alexander Dubcek didn't come from within it came from outside Soviet-Russia and other satellite states intervened and it was reversed.

Fast forward to Gorbachev era. He did well by pulling Soviet troops out of Afghanistan the war took its toll on USSR financially. Afghanistan was USSR own Vietnam it was a quagmire but Gorbachev decided to allow the republic disintegrate becasue he was incapable. The west later gave him a nobel peace prize for his weakness because he helped them disintegrate their biggest enemy lolss. I can tell you that man is regretting for him to have said his perestroika led to the collapse of USSR because Russia of today is being treated badly by the west.

The west never honoured the agreement it made with Russia that they won't interfere in Russia's remaining sphere of influence after the cold war ended they keep expanding towards Russia wooing its remaining allies into NATO and the EU

Had it been Vladimir Putin was weak the west would have taken the whole of Ukraine especially strategic Crimea. Sorry for my long epistle.
Foreign AffairsRe: Should Israel Be Building Settlements In The West Bank, Etc? by dermmy(m): 9:02pm On Nov 05, 2019
ibinaboonline:
In December 2016 the Security Council of the United Nations passed a resolution that condemns Israel for its building of settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. However, the resolution was nothing but a formal statement of what most nations in the world already believed about the settlements. The United Nations has passed similar resolutions against Israel as far back as 1979. The difference is that these resolutions did not carry the authority of the Security Council. Prior to 2016, the United States had always vetoed any Security Council resolutions against Israel. Israel and its relationship to its neighbors and the West Bank (and Gaza) is a complicated issue. Here is a brief history:

Israel became a sovereign nation in 1948 when the United Nations officially recognized its existence. Immediately, Israel’s neighbors attacked the new nation, seeking to destroy it before it could be established. This conflict became known as the Arab-Israeli War of 1948, and Israel defeated the armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq. After fighting ended, the nation of Israel stayed within the borders designated for it by the United Nations in 1948. Nineteen years later, in 1967, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq attacked again, with additional help from other Arab nations. In what became known as the Six-Day War, Israel again defeated the attackers. After this conflict, however, Israel seized control of the West Bank and East Jerusalem (from Jordan), the Sinai Peninsula and Gaza (from Egypt), and the Golan Heights (from Syria). Ever since, Israel’s occupation of those territories has been a matter of international debate. Israel gave the Sinai Peninsula back to Egypt in 1979 as part of the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty, but it still retains control of the West Bank, Gaza, and the Golan Heights.

Israel has been building settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank since 1972, although the building of settlements has been greatly expanded in recent years. The Palestinians in the West Bank have protested loudly, claiming those lands belong to them. However, Israel was attacked by its neighboring countries at the behest of the Palestinians. There is a universally understood concept that, if you attack a nation and lose, there are consequences. The attacks on Israel in 1948 and 1967, the countless intifadas, the acts of terrorism, the kidnappings, etc., have all been unprovoked. Israel has never been the military aggressor against its neighbors. When a nation seizes territory from the nations that attacked it, the action is normally seen as a justifiable way for that nation to solidify its defense. In any situation not involving Israel, there would be universal recognition of the nation’s right to control the seized territories.

For some reason, when the situation involves Israel, the international community has always been on the side of the Palestinians and Israel’s Arab neighbors. Why is this? Latent and overt anti-Semitism? The tremendous influence of the Arab nations due to their control of the oil market? Compassion for the Palestinians? It is likely a combination of those and other factors. But none of those factors change the history. Israel suffered an unprovoked attack and occupied those territories in order to better defend itself from future attacks.

Biblically speaking, Israel has every right to possess, occupy, and build homes in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, Gaza, and far more. All of those territories are well within the borders of the land that God promised to the nation of Israel. Israel currently possesses a fraction of the land the Word of God declares belongs to it (see Genesis 15:18 and Joshua 1:4). Unless the Palestinians are descendants of the tribes of Israel (which is possible), they have absolutely no biblical claim to live on those lands. Whatever the case, they have no biblical basis for preventing the nation of Israel from occupying and building homes in those territories.

I am decidedly and unashamedly pro-Israel. I do not claim Israel is entirely guiltless in the conflict with the Palestinians. However, whatever crimes Israel has committed are outweighed by the terrorism, crimes, and military attacks perpetuated against it by the Palestinians and its Arab neighbors. The failure or refusal of the United Nations to recognize this is amazing and distressing. There is no adequate explanation for the sheer blindness of the United Nations toward the reality of the Israel-Palestinian conflict other than satanic deception.
If you want answers to your question you have to dump that bigotry and look at the Israeli-Palestinian issue from historical and intellectual perspective. The international arena is governed by international law and not bible/Quran. I would have answered your question but from what you put up there i can see you are one of those who would engage people with verses in the bible if you were given real intellectual facts.

I know you want answers but you've answered it your own way. Please do yourself a favour by reading carry out a thorough research and you'll get answers to your questions. Peace man

The niqqa has a lot of redundant apps.....some of these apps autorun in the background.....you don't want lags in a 2 or 1gig ram fone yet you load your phone with over 100+ apps undecided

You'll pack and install all the ba3 saver on play store, all the antivirus or the cleaners
Na u dey mind dem. Some would install more than one Antivirus. They download and install needless apps from playstore. Your phone didn't start this lag the day you bought it so you are the one behind that lag, chang your habit and if you are the one that do multitasking get a phone with better RAM. You can't be using 1/2gb RAM and expect it to multitask effectively.

Honestly we have to sit some people down and teach them how to manage their digital devices.
PhonesRe: ***** Infinix Discussion Thread ***** by dermmy(m):
jboixxx:
Not everyone that complain(ed) about a device is a rookie in term of "digital experience". One of the ish I have about people defending a brand - always generalise or see every criticism as an attach.

2. You don't have to always clear cache. I do use my phone for weeks without clearing cache or restarting device and I rarely experience lag(s).

3. Going by what the last complainant posted, he only uses his phone for calls, WhatsApp chat, read news on Google/Nairaland, music and rarely use camera. In all of these, the only 3rd party app here is WhatsApp and maybe browser. These shouldn't cause any lags except the device's RAM isn't as declared, bad RAM management or he exaggerated.

Any which way, his experience is clearly different from yours....and that doesn't make him a liar or an attacker of your beloved brand.

All d best to us all.
Ain't defending any brand here. I use S4 and i rarely clean my device too i bought it May this year and i haven't experienced any lag. We don't know the apps these people have on their devices, some people pack bloatwares on phones without them knowing. Some phones aren't built for multitasking because of thier RAM and processor yet these people would open array of apps, open unlimited browser tabs while using their phones.

And the question we have to ask them is did it start the day they bought their phones? And can we say some phone manufacturers lie about the RAM they release to the public because their products do pass through quality assurance checks before they are released to the public cause there was a guy who said Infinix lie about RAM when i engaged him here.

I tried this step yesterday with my roommate's charger which is the original infinix charger and it still died at that percentage but if I charge the phone to 50 percent it would die normally but if I charge it fully then it would die at 30 percent
The wrong charger you used has damaged your battery. Visit carlcare if they can still do something it's like they have some special software that diagnose battery but if the problem still persist after the test then changing the battery is the way to go.
PhonesRe: ***** Infinix Discussion Thread ***** by dermmy(m):

I even tried my roommate's own original infinix charger and it gave me the same result.
The thing is if I charge my phone to 50 percent it goes down normally but if I charge it higher it starts the problem
Re-caliberate it by draining it down to 0% let it switch off itself after it has switched off, Power it ON again, switch it OFF and plug it to a power source and give it 100% full charge. Pls electricity not power bank this time and make sure you are using an original charger check the volt of the original charger that came with the phone and try to get from a friend that have such charger.

And please if you are the type that use power banks to charge phone battery make sure the power bank you use have the volt that is compatible with your battery else you are damaging your battery. Power banks come with different volts and we have to use the one that has the required volt for our battery. Many mobile phone user are ignorant of these infos.
PhonesRe: ***** Infinix Discussion Thread ***** by dermmy(m):

It's one infinix fast charger that I bought, after changing the battery immediately the new battery reached 20 percent it also died
If you use a charger that its volt is not compatible with your original charger you are killing your phone battery without you knowing. The problem with mobile phone users these days. We are so ignorant of many things. If you must get a charger get original Infinix charger or charger from other manufacturer that has the required volts your battery needs.

Your battery health is very important. It is possible the charger you used has hurt your battery. And please avoid full/100% charge everytime if you want your battery to last long. Full charge wears out battery overtime and avoid draining the battery down to 0℅ these are practices that kill your battery.
