How did we get here as a nation? All I read here are comments riddled with bigotry, hatred, discord and acrimony. I really cry for this nation,we've never been divided and so indifference to each other like this before. I expect that we should be mourning the death and sympathise with the bereaved, but we're here churning out comments of hatred and trading blames on each other. God have mercy! |
I'm so disappointed at some comments by some so called youths here,we are finished, honestly we are, after all that has happened in this country and is still happening in this county under this ruthless, visionless and clueless regime caused by the government of the day which is led by an age-stricken president, yet we still have people advocating and canvasing for the likes of Tinubu,Atiku and co to run for presidency.i mean it's unbelievable and unimaginable to say but the least. Who did this to Nigeria? Judging by some comments from certain individuals here,I could confidently say that we are not ready to allow the younger generation take the corridor of power in years to come,is it that people enjoy suffering or they are so ignorant and daft that they allow sentiments to becloud their sense of reasoning?. What is exactly is our problem?,gush! it's unfortunate I find myself in this kind of country where people prefer mediocrity, incompetency and redundancy to impeccability, charisma and competency. I pray and hope that the mistake made in 2015 will not be repeated in 2023. Chai, what a country. |
Mine was as far back as 2006,when I was still a student. I used Nairaland and google as my points of reference for any argument with my coursemates. |
I kinda relate with this, because it cuts across board. In Kaduna where I work ,they dn't only deduct ur salary but they pay in 52days,i.e two weeks or sometimes there wks into another month. This happens mostly in LGAs,that is why working under LGAs in most States is like servitude, and the issue of corruption in these LGAs is on a high level. But truth be told,APC government is the worst thing that ever happened to Nigeria. Thank God I never liked the party right from onset,I still wonder and imagine why people still support the party and it's government. |

If what I've jst read is a confirmed story and from a reliable source as peddled in the media, then I'd say that BAT got guts. Can u imagine,as old as he is,telling it as it is to who cares to listen. Jst like someone said in the comment section, that he'll be disappointed if this recycled politician clings to the sit of power come 2023,I will not only be disappointed but will be certain that God has left Nigeria. I mean how could u explain that, that as old stricken as this man is,coupled with a question mark to whatsoever that pertains to him, age, source of wealth, academic qualification and state of origin, becomes the nxt president of this great country, mehn I'd have no doubt that it's either God has left this county or it's cursed. I pray and hope that such doesn't happen, cos **affliction shall never rise again** |
Going through the comments of some people here and analysing them,I would say we've really lost it. I mean why would one be casting aspersion to OBJ or why would one still be rooting for one of the recycled politicians as some speculated? The truth is this, the earlier we come to terms that Nigeria as a country-pls for emphasis sake and be reminded that Nigeria is not a nation as some think, but a country,if u want to know the true meaning of the term "nation"Google is ur friend- needs a capable, impeccable and distribalised individual to pilot its affairs, the better for everyone. I'm not an advocate of zoning neither do I subscribe to the conventional blv that one's age and age-long experience in political terrain or in the corridor of power,is a yardstick to elect one or choose an individual to lead a country as complex as Nigeria, but I'm of a school of thought that believes one's antecedent, pedegree and his track record not jst as a political office holder but as an independent individual should be brought to the front burner, before such is elected in any sensitive post. Because this is what we always relegate to the background while choosing a leader, and I've seen this reoccurence time and time again in the political scene of this country ever since I started taking interest in Nigeria's politics. The youths of this country owe themselves the responsibility to make it right this time, statistics show that the youths have larger population in this country more than any other group that make up this entity call Nigeria, and as you know politics is all about number,so we youths should leverage on that and choose a vibrant,able-bodied, intellectual visionary, result-oriented and youthful individuals that will make the dreams and aspirations of the teeming youths of this country a reality, irrespective of where such individuals come from . The time to make that happen is now and no excuses whatsoever. |
Does this really worth it?,your fellow man,if it was an elderly person, one would say it's a sign of respect, but this is someone he's quite older than. No matter what he mst hv gotten or received from him, haba!what happens to self-respect and self worth? Well, whatever rocks his boat, but he really went too far in expressing his appreciation and gratitude. I thank God for who I am,the only person I could do that for is God and my biological father or an elderly/aged person. What money can do to many... Someone should help me finish the sentence,my hand is paining me |
Bro I was able to read ur ordeal bit by bit and with rapt attention, and I could deduce from the points u've made that u've really had it here,I could feel the frustration and confusion that's rattled in ur mind, but worry not bro,u'll get over this soon, jst believe that God's gonna come thru for you no matter what it takes. On ur alternative of starting up a business of ur own,I think I could be of help, jst call me up on this nos 07035184796 or link me up via this link https:///hm7xxl, let's talk. |
The level of corruption witnessed in this administration lately is quite alarming, and funny enough it's kinda a case of the hunter becoming the hunted. Where did we get it wrong, I mean how did we get here? It's quite appalling and disservice to the country and it's citizenry to hear that intelligence and security agencies who suppose to be the torchlight thru which these nefarious and fraudulent activities could be beamed, nipped in the bud or better still curtailed, spearheading the whole thing. No wonder no one hears of "whistleblower" again,of course if u blow whistle u go collect by those that are expected to protect and secure the interest and life of the supposedly whistleblower. It's really quite unfortunate, very unfortunate. The government of the day seems not to bother or take decisive action,a case of Abba kyari suffice,if he was not caught up in the web of the lingering drug case,I doubt if he'd be in the custody of the NDLEA nor even summoned by the NPF. In worst case scenario,he'd be suspended. and then restored bck to his position and duty once the whole thing dies down. Nigeria really needs resetting and prayer as well,I swear. |
Leaving ur country to another for a better life and greener pasture is in no doubt good, but hv we considered the implications the drove and exodus of citizens out of their country would cause in the long run, these are but a few of them; 1 there will be few or none left to repair the damages that the country found itself 2. The infrastructural facilities and the basic amenities of life we yearn for in other countries, would have nobody to build and make them happen in the country. 3 the country will be left with more rogues and incompetent individuals to pilot its affairs at their whims and caprices. Making it even more reason for many to "japa" as well, thereby leaving the country in a dilapidated and ungovernable condition. What I'm saying in essence is this, let's stay bck and repair the damages that have bedeviled the country all these years, I blv with our resilient, resolute and concerted effort we can make this nation great again. |
Bro dn't be Confused, there's a video and a proven guideline I'll show u that'll make ur travel easy and possible,Dm me on whatsapp or call me up on this nos- 07035184796. Do this and thank me later. |

We have been deceived so mch by these politicians that some have lost their sense of reasoning. Go and goggle what happened, you dn't jst take what a politician tells u hook, line and sinker, that's why u've got brain and Google is ur friend. The absence of history in our academic syllables has done more harm than good to the younger generation. |

I won't toll this path with u and will not allow myself to be dragged into the mud with u, go ahead and make ur choice, and let your conscience judge u. Rubbish . Bring a better candidate if you have one.[/quote] |
From the comments and what some,I believe are youths, are putting up here, show that Nigeria is finished,I mean,i cry for this country. I can't blv that after what happened to Nigeria these few years and things that are still happening in the country presently, that some people will still be pushing the agenda of BAT becoming the nxt president of this country with their myopic and unsavoury reasons. Who did this to us,is Nigeria under a curse or what? Honestly we really need prayer in this country, seriously we do. |

I totally agreed with Reno, there's this spirit of what I'd call "curse" or "bad luck",that this man call Buhari carries about, which only those with spiritual eyes can see. For his supporters and ass lickers, don't worry last last the wave of this curse will reach u,if u think he's the best thing that has ever happened to u.(pun intended). |
And true to ur comments and predictions, super eagle is out of the game. Does this tell someone something about the president? I've got nothing to say,but the outcome of what happened in today's match says it all. |
Don't believe anything u read or see online, cos most of them are fabricated and construed, about the news of depending on IGR by the Kaduna govt. It's a pure fallacy aimed at receiving the gullible and naive masses. I work in Kaduna as a civil servant, and I can u if a true that this achievement or whatever they make u believe does not in a anyway reflect on the lives of the populace in the state. The rate of hardship and economic crunch in the same state is on a high level. This is a state where civil servants beg for their salaries to be paid and even when such is done,it's done randomly. So on what moral ground and justification, judging 4rm the poor standard of living of the majority of people of the state, could make one to come on forum like this to boast on the state's economic stride, while in reality it doesn't reflect on the life of an average Kaduna resident. Believe this "hyped" achievement at ur peril. |
Anyone that believes this mst be living in a fool's paradise, this obviously it's a market strategy to sell her stuf. Judging 4rm her smile and laughter one cld tell she was faking it all. By the way who in her right senses will buy stuff like that and bring it to the public domain?,of course it's an avenue of adversting her goods and luring gullible customers. If u know u know. |
This is quite commendable, what a great and generous gesture 4rm individuals that hv the wellbeing of this country at heart and want to ensure that reformation and overhauling of the system we find ourselves are done no matter what it takes. They are indeed the true PATRIOTS. |
Any song by Rema is wack. I mean how did the guy win next rated artiste last yr with that rubbish song called "Dumebi"? That sometimes makes me wonder,do we enjoy mediocrity or what. |
Story of my life... honestly all I cld deduce 4rm this whole story is the facts that u're too ambitious too my liking, perhaps cos of the background u come frm, come to think of it what do u as individual do 4 a living and what values do u add to the man's life, apart 4rm d advice and words of encouragement? The mistakes most ladies make is to think that advice, words of encouragment/motivation and may be sex are all what a man needs to be prodded to actualising his dreams or goals and to stay glued to the r/ship,but they fail to understand that financial support is also very important to helping a man achieve all that u want him to. If u're in a better position to assist him in cash, then dn't hesitate to do so,except u dn't really love and trust him as u profess. If u blv deep down inside that he's the one u'd like to walk down the aisle with, then start making plans on how to build that "empire" of ur dream with him irrespective of relatioship status with him. But if u think otherwise then go look 4 ur spec and that to me,will see u in d light of a lady who wants a man's dreams and goals to be achieved according to her dictates, and u knw what that means?, catastrophe!when the man finally gets on his feet or realises himself. So my advise to u young lady, assist ur man if need be and if u're in a better positiondo so,cos that will prove to him how mch u really want him to succeed, but shld be done with caution and discretion. I blv in the school of thought that partners in a relationship cld make it work if they sincerely contribute their quota in any little way they can to the vision, goals and dreams of each one. |
I must say this message is an eye-opener to me, thanks Op 4 enlightening us on this message which has been wrongly preached by some men of God. I'm glad i came across such a wonderful and self-explanatory message as this and i'd want more of this on this forum as we prepare 4 that imminent day of God's judgement |
