Ttalk:The only thing that gave parents joy when raising their kids was that they could use real life examples to put you alright. So when police arrests an erring neighbour or a thief is beaten blue-black, they gleefully use that opportunity to correct kids choices at an early age. How that worked out for your life choices today is another matter for discussion but safe to say, we are grateful to have an opportunity to raise your cohort right. 🤗 |
The Koko be say if you reach Alaba Rago, most of them there no dey even use Infinix or anything close. Nah all these Coolpad, Tsozed, Elephant abi wetin be that phone name. All these random random phone models. |
You'd rather prefer to travel all the way down to do that? 🤷🏾♂️ |
Christistruth03:You mean the Legislature is higher than the Judiciary right? 😁 Can you share any of your secondary school report cards? I want to check something 🤗 |

It's a good thing if he has met his end. A critical lesson to those who are seeking to cut corners tomorrow. Death to all dishonest persons corrupting the next generation! How Yoruba people residing in SouthWest Nigeria are more informed about this nonentity is quite a wonder. If you watch, most people providing updates about this quite unproductive fellow are well-announced Yorubas here. What is the source of their information? 🤔 |
They have made their choice. The apple never falls far from the tree.

PapaNnamdi:Obviously, your brain starts and ends in arguing over a bottle. Else, why do you think I'd be as remotely concerned and disturbed by something so trivial that I'd start looking for someone to put it in my presence 🤷🏾♂️ |
As someone said up there, go and learn 'How to export'. Just take these very few steps and you'd be ready to start any exportation: 👉An exporter must be a registered/incorporated business in Nigeria. So, yeah, go and start exporting so you can eat dollar now that it is high. It's so easy, you see? |
350,000,000/8,000 palliative = 43,750 families. My God😲 |

Zxcvbnmghtr:You mean review of the 8k him and the entire people around him put their heads together to think up as a solution to families having to endure repercussions of an idea he rejected in 2012 when it was easier abi? Well, I reserve my judgement on the mental capacity of those who thought up that 8k idea.

Now they are talking. Playing hide and seek since. |
Lol.. How can you have confidence in an institution that doesn't even have confidence to start with. Did you see NBA's response to the fight between DSS and NCS on court grounds? They carefully avoided incurring the wrath of either body instead of saying it as it is. An arm of government for that matter. |
PapaNnamdi:Stop Saying Nonsense. |
Run away from here!!! Is anything stopping you from continuing your remote job when you change location? Only two categories of people are not leaving Nigeria for a better life outside any time soon. 1. Those who have been feeding from it. 2. Those who do not have the opportunity yet. |
NLC should hold on. Hopefully, the rightful government with a sense of direction will be instituted soon enough. That way, all of us can be actively involved in Nation Building. You can trust him to simplify governance unlike this current one that is applying quotient rule to solve a problem of basic mensuration. Besides, His Excellency, Peter Gregory Obi will address Nigerians this Saturday. His words always have a calming effect on citizens under duress, instilling hope for a better and brighter tomorrow. NLC will do well to listen in. A better and more sustainable approach may be discussed.

Some traders at the Ogbete Main Market in Enugu State, on Wednesday, protested the sealing of their shops and stores by the State Government. Many residents were yet to comply with the governor’s directive to end the 'sit at home' out of fear of possible attack by unknown gunmen terrorizing the state and the South East. Due to the non-compliance, the governor ordered the closure of banks and businesses at the Ogbete main market and other parts of the state for not opening on Monday. The state government said the affected shops will be closed for one week and also gave conditions that the affected traders must meet before their shops would be reopened. The development has now sparked a protest by Ogbete market traders who took to the street to condemn the action of the governor. In the video shared by NTA, the traders were seen asking if it is by force to run their business. During the protest, a trader was shot dead.

Childfree:But this is just a guess at the end of the day. If those things did not get in before the bottle was made(or finished with heat), then I have to believe those things were invoked into the bottle. I've seen models without any thing tied underneath sold as herbs by Togolese. I repeat, nothing was tied underneath, just good old bottles. |
Godwin4444:Because your own brain and smartphone is for decoration. |
Stupid Stupid Stupid How much is the cost of governance in Nigeria? How can you pocket humongous sums 'you don't need' that would go a long way to put measures in place for the average citizens and stand to talk of lesser evil? It takes a pure heart to guage which evil is lesser or greater; not a polluted greedbag! |
mycar:Peter Obi was actually listened to. He was part of the Economic Team that saved $9bn in the ECA (Excess Crude Account) when crude oil sold higher than was estimated for in the budget. The FG bought the idea then. It was those who are now at the forefront of APC as a party that ended that plan. They were Governors then, the likes of Oshiomole, Fashola, Aregbesola, e.t.c. Add Akpabio and Amaechi. They kept crying and fighting and arguing every meeting for the money to be shared. Peter Obi was the only mentioned governor that spoke openly against them. They fought this battle and grew the ECA savings to $15bn before everything was becoming a full blown war in meetings. Then they had to share the money to states. Ask each of these governors what they achieved with that money today.. No show. Fastforward to 2022, the budgeted cost per barrel for crude was $62. Since crude sold even up to $90 per barrel on average, we should have had at least $10bn on the ECA. Guess what? When it was last checked, it was a paltry $300k+ that was there and that was leftover from several years ago. Nothing was added. Thieves! All of them. Thieves! |
So tanker get mind dey fall for this Nigeria? 😲 |
Daniel Regha don join Nairaland finally 🥲 |
Maybe because their pay is subject to management decision. Members of staff first begin with grudges over how their pay is being impacted. They also hold meetings amongst themselves or confidantes amongst the management on this matter. Note that no official moves have been made yet, but time is passing, nonetheless. Then they decide to approach the management officially. They may be asked to put it in writing if the haven't done so. Some of the discussions do not go beyond this point. Some management staff will hold meetings to discuss the best approach. Time is still passing. The implementation stage then comes in. If the prices of goods and services need to be increased, the most likely scenario is the staff will wait until when the price adjustment is in force. In the meantime, shege may be seen. Only few organizations are proactive, they start paying hardship allowances and pay rise, expecting the rise in incoming revenue to account for it. No organization will want to run itself into financial troubles, hence the caution. |
Well, everyone deserves a lawyer. At least, that's the basis of 'Innocent until proven guilty'. In as much as I agree that justice is being abused, ( for example, saying going to court will cause anarchy which is a really stupid take for a lawyer to say, ) I will not take this as a slight on those who were appointed and chose to defend the ugly side'. Everyone has right to a lawyer. |
Guestlander:The most traceable genesis of this split was when ACN aligned with CPC. The role played by everyone leading to today was very clear. Evidence around us still point to the fact that the animosity is politically motivated. Talking about what's going on in Nairaland, the tribal haters are banking on the anonymity. Outside, only those who have no value on their self worth actually propagate this hate for a living. You're trying so hard to make this an Igbo-stimulated hate but you know what doesn't lie? Numbers. Do a post per day analysis of popular names here known to align tribally. Divide their total posts by the number of days since registered on Nairaland and see those topping the charts 😁 I love numbers. Hard numbers. |
However, it's quite pointless to be making such entreaties public. It's a private decision and that's about that. My reason being that most APC trolls have multiple accounts. So by default, what you may be saying is that you won't use this account for that purpose anymore. There is this same account that took this same strategy and has since gone dumb. Big chances are, he/she is still in the trade with another account 😉 |
One thing I always ask is, why does LASG leave road constructions until rainy season when making headway will be so weird? Is there some contribution of rain to making the job easy because there is usually so little progress due to frequent interruptions and waste of materials caused by the rains, leaving the road so messy or plain unusable 🤷🏾♂️ |
Gucciblog:Lol 😂 The chica no normal normally sha. She's mentally impaired. Assigning to herself, portfolios that have been grossly exaggerated or non-existent. Sadly, mental evaluation is not a thing in Nigeria. |
