This oil well produced 20 million barrels before being abandoned. If Bayelsans are smart, they'd still leave it in its abandoned state and focus on other oil fields for now. That oil well is nowhere near done yet. I know the OP is trying to make a point but I'm looking for it at the moment.

plaindealer:Oga just observe your urchinhood in peace. What business do you have with an actual intellectual discussion as the bolded? Even WhatsApp Group cannot help you here. See urchin wan dey disguise o ![]() Small nyash dey shake. |
Kingzeez10:It's December soon. Those that can pay transport fares will still happily go home for celebrations with family and friends; like they do every year. The fear is on kidnapping activities on the Nigerian highways enroute home, not being at home. But you guys are welcome to help us be afraid though. I mean, it's for free right? |
I don't know if this is great news for Nigeria. It is for the Northern elites, definitely. But for Nigeria? Oil isn't really a new discovery and it's not as if the one discovered there is of a different type than the crude that's been around for ages ![]() You've got to admire the resolve of the Northern elites though. Look at how determined and dogged they were in ensuring oil was discovered inland. Now, they'd focus on an effective way of transporting the oil. Except the bandits will help some steal the oil, any of them who attempts to covet this black gold will meet a Nigerian military force never seen before. |
oakazzy:Who released this one from the cage? I now believe there is life on Mars because you're definitely not on this planet. |
Eniitankorede:How many IDP camps are in Igboland that is so ravaged by ESN and IPOB? None? You people need to start thinking for yourselves. |
Elemosho478:What is Tinubu? Y'all need major brain check. |

Benwallt:I secretly believe Tinubu is the Black Superman. He must be from Krypton that's why his roots are untraceable in Nigeria. I always knew Amoda is not an earthly name ![]() |
Salvador1:S I M P L E Obi go give am details of the bank transfer, when he approached the bank to cash it, the denomination he cashed it, how he used the money, down to when he withdraw the last kobo. ![]() This is not playing. |
Superwave16320:When your mates were watching it, where were you? Probably waiting for adulterated tidbits from your WhatsApp Groups because you can't process a live discussion. Reminds me of your principal. |
HilcomTech:You should have at least looked up the meaning of race first. Except of course your reason is just to denigrate. Anyway, your cloak game is over. Mynd44, nlfpmod, please ban this account. It's an alternate account of the well known tribalist, haslaw. You can verify it. @KINGS100, you're well in order with your use of race here. Ignore this one that is arguing with a dictionary.

‘Some think it’s their birthright to rule’, says Tony Umez; endorses Peter Obi The Nigerian actor, Tony Umez, has revealed his candidate in the upcoming presidential election in February 2023. He made known his choice in an interview with BBC, claiming he would vote for Obi as President. Giving reasons for the endorsement, the Nigerian actor said the Labour Party candidate has always been saying the right things and has done the right things in the past. However, Tony opposed those who, in his view, erroneously thought that “managing” Nigeria was their rightful heritage. “Some think it’s their birthright to rule. I don’t know where that [came from]. If I would vote tomorrow, I’d vote for Peter Obi. “I’m not saying he’s a good man. But he’s saying the right things and has done the right things. “There is much rage right now. Nigeria is blessed with great human and natural resources but we’ve not been blessed with good leadership. “The young ones are angry about how things turned out. “There are some people that have been thrown up that I feel are not credible enough to rule us. “Poverty has been so weaponised, people sell their votes. I think if you’re part of a problem, you can’t be part of the solution.” Umez criticized the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, while denouncing what he called “sit-tight rulership” in Africa. "The people you saw when you were much younger are still same people in leadership today; there’s this sit-tight-ism in Africa. “How do you grade a government? Education, transportation, and security. ”Looking at this present government by all these indices, how would you grade this government? For me, sub-zero. “Maybe they’ve done some things. But whatever you do that doesn’t impact positively on the citizenry, it’s nonsense. People in government have nothing to fall back on, that’s why they sit tight in power. “You ask someone what they do for a living, and they say they are a politician. Is that a job?, It’s a call to service. “But for these guys, that’s where they earn a living. People steal with impunity, and there’s no integrity among our leaders,” he added. This report is coming at the end of a super outing on 'The Candidates' show hosted by Kadaria Ahmed, where the Labour Party Presidential candidate, His Excellency, Peter Obi and his aspiring Vice-President, Baba Ahmed Datti, wowed audience and viewers alike with their plans on setting Nigeria on the path befitting her greatness. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/11/some-think-its-their-birthright-to-rule-says-tony-umez-endorses-peter-obi/

BATified2023:Says an urchin that has been living under Buhari's hardship for 7 years. ![]() Wholeheartedly fooling yourselves ![]() |
Please o, they should calm down. It hasn't gotten to that stage yet. That would mean rejection by the land |
The part I don't get was where it is said that only presidential candidates can intimate INEC to act on fellow presidential candidates. That law is faulty. |
Mandate2023:So....a region that has more population than each of over 150 countries in the world, including Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal is what you describe as inhabitable? Forget, e good to go school. |
Mandate2023:Yet, they're the ones you're likely to find in all states in Nigeria. |
The dangers of allowing power get into your head in an Igbo community. The moment you step out of line, you'd be left alone as quickly as you garnered support. Look before you leap. The only way Soludo gains a second term is if he bites the humble pie or terrorise his way to freedom in the steps of the Supreme Court governor. |
kingmaster2009:Boss. Abeg Tinubu go win. Say no more. Person heart no too strong again. Abeg ![]() |
