Quintopia:It's beautiful. But it's not a skyscraper by the definition of Skyscrapers. A skyscraper is at least 40 storeys high. |
Tinubu no wan rest sha ![]() My best bet is that this website was created around when Tinubu's ambition picked up pace to be used for propaganda ![]() Look at how simplistic a supposedly 'international' website looks ![]() |
How City Colleges of Chicago take enter the matter nah. ![]() |
CoronaVirusRelo:I don't know about that. We will need to ask 76-year old Chief Peter Oladele Fatomilola who is way older what he thinks about a certain Nairaland boy's opinion on Peter. These are what copy-and-paste propaganda from your WhatsApp Groups will never give you, common sense to think things through. Check well now, the person who helped your father in a huge way may have been named Peter . |
Fira09:You opened a Ronaldo thread to tell us about the real GOAT. Shey you're paying attention to your actions sha Isorait. ![]() |
FreeStuffsNG:The OP highlighted three cogent points. Your rebuttal did not address any of that. It's weird that you call him not in tune; yet present a reply as if you're presenting your own opinion on the matter and not addressing the OP's opinion. Are you in tune with the reality of his submission? He raised three points from a country running such loan facility in comparison with ours: 1. How will the impending influx of personnel's into the academic-based labour market sponsored by students loan fare alongside the crippling employment problem in the country? According to NBS, about 30m out of 80m Nigerian workforce are unemployed. 2. He spoke of the rising cost of education which actually makes sense ordinarily because with the advent of student loans, they can afford the education anyway. We already have education rising astronomically. The State University I graduated from, I paid 18k in my 2nd year. Last I checked, it's about 150k now in the same level. What will happen when it is certain that there is a way to afford it anyway? 3. He concluded by talking about the problem of default. I mean, except you're playing the Ostrich, we know it can be a chronic problem, especially in a country without a decent population database. We see many structures in the US for keeping track of their citizens and visitors. Isn't it a case of putting the cart before the horse?; Many debtors here disappear once they switch off their phones. Your rebuttals are: 1. That the US-based students can't pay up too. Isn't that the point? Even an advanced country like that is still struggling with that plan, you want to dive in? 2. That Nigeria is not a credit-based economy. Let's pretend for a moment that LAPO and all the mobile app credit facilities are just playing around, What is the point of introducing it if it will fail then? 3. That it has been done in the SW before and government will have a stake. It was on air recently that education is highly subsidized by the government. That didn't stop the brain drain in Nigeria as people take off once they get their degrees. And you're saying this Nig. Govt are survey to tie them down for a minimum of 5-years? How much is the loan compared to the cost of japa that they won't offset? |
Imagine Nairaland having an app ![]() |
They think organic is forced ![]() Say nah Bless Mi Party wey don run economy down dey still ask for blessing. Una left nyash ![]() |
CoronaVirusRelo:Amen. I hope this works for the elites and misguided gathering against the interests of the people. |
Ihordspy, it's not by flooding everywhere with highly edited photos. The truth will always surface. It is for this same reason that propagandists avoid the presence of people. Those Oyo West salts and Bread propaganda against Labour Party didn't have people around so it will not be busted |
You will not believe the number of Agberos around this axis. The fight between Alaba Traders and agberos took place in this LGA; likewise the most recent deadly clash between agberos that had the police running away on video took place in this LGA. It should be a blessing for drivers who can escape a few Owo Mi da today as the extortionists will be walking for Tinubu. It may be necessary to also note sha that this is an anti-APC territory so far. They always lost this LG in Gov/Pres elections, hence the need for the walk. |
FreeStuffsNG:Your passport photo should replace the definition of hypocrisy in the dictionary ![]() |
Abdul05:Salvage it from who? The answer to that question unveils your hypocrisy in full colours. How can you salvage a country that is better or was it not you who posted this below, saying Buhari's era brought the end to all of these vices that existed before? What again is being salvaged? Abdul05: |
Moh247:I gaghi abu ogbenye, burukwa amoosu. Choose your poison. You cannot say he has what he takes to be a top journalist, then speak against one of the most important traits of top journalists. Choose your poison. ![]() The loyalty of journalists is to the people. Those against top journalists today are politically motivated (echo Hundeyin) and that's that. As for his career, he's doing himself a great service. If you want him to be a brown envelope journalist like the folks at a certain TV station, all you need to do is just ask ![]()

Adejuwonhis:You mean give practical example wielding Presidential powers before they are elected? ![]() |
Hoelujohn:I think the brain is a bigger problem. PVC is a commonly used word this election era. Two consecutive attempts in close succession and he couldn't get it right. Did he proofread his Presidential Campaign booklet? How come he couldn't recognize that the teenage picture there is not him? What's with the breaks in transmission that goes beyond the normal threshold for dramatic effects when he is talking? Are his brain nerve cells actually going off as it is with old age? I hope you know dead nerve cells don't regenerate. In fact, where is the brain from? So far, no roots are known; or better still, those roots are well hidden from public gaze. The question is.. Why? I could go on and on but if Nigerians want to repeat the same nonsense Nigerians did with Buhari; saw him for the rubbish he was even before the elections but went ahead to allow him in, Good Luck fam. |
When those youths sang "Baba wey no well, e dey shout emi lokan" some elders who knew better supposedly called them names. How can elders be hiding an obvious fact? I can understand if it's youths being bought over but for elders who are close to the grave? How much did they sell their conscience? |
Run am! Consistency is key ![]() |
First, it was branded salt in a basin. We never saw it shared. Even the person who brought the propaganda to Nairaland goofed by saying it was to be shared in the South East, meanwhile on it was printed Oyo West. Now, it is Agege Bread in another enclosed place, people are not present to take them. Is it that the people behind this propaganda are so selfish that they still consume what they use for propaganda? Or is it that they're not willing to mobilize enough people to form a crowd to collect the stuffs and make the propaganda believeable? My best guess is they don't want to be caught out in a lie because people that know them as card carrying members of another party will identify them and call out their bullshit. |
SugarGirl44:Says someone whose moniker and posts are in English grammar.

1x2x3:Thank you. He just needs to hang out with the right crowd. He'll come around probably sooner or later, hopefully ![]() |
omonnakoda:Enjoy boss. |
omonnakoda:You're talking Igbos being envious as what drives them. And I'm letting you know that that's bullshit. Someone will always be better than you and you can draw inspiration from such person to be at that level, and of course, be better. It's a human growth instinct; not tribal. Or you could say, "Nah! That's some Igbo envy shit. I ain't doing that" and stay lazy. I could choose to be a primitive lesser person and go full tribal on you but then, I'm 'bout to go see my Yoruba friend, an indigene of Oyo State. He'd be disgusted if he saw me saying such random and stereotypic stuffs about his people. So, I'll suggest you get out more often. It'll help you be normal. |
omonnakoda:Easy. You're undermining basic everyday hardwork as a product of envy. Worse still, being tribalistic over it. That's an excuse to be lazy. To sit back and not try. You don't even understand what you're selling when you made this comment, I guess omonnakoda: |
omonnakoda:Typical. Hide from hardwork all you want under any excuse you like, fam. In the end, you are unlikely to get what you don't deserve.

In the spirit of leaving resources behind for state government, Peter Obi left a signed handover note of #75bn in named accounts; not to mention investments in the government names. Do well to do the same; leave behind a signed document. Might I add that since Osun generates a higher IGR than Anambra currently, we'd expect to see better results. ![]() Going forward, this should be a metric to be adopted by any leader leaving power. |
omonnakoda:In my very honest opinion, I think you're justifying laziness. Someone will always be better than you and it's on you to keep it in your mind that you can be better than you are. You model your efforts after a successful person, not a spiritual being. Elite mentality like this is what made Messi and Ronaldo stay miles ahead of the present day footballers. They're in a world of their own; yet are motivated to seek out more due to the existence of the other. I don't think it must be an Igbo thing to keep your focus on where you can be and drive yourself to be successful. I would like to believe it is quite human to always want to improve. Please stop justifying laziness. |
AyeMoJuba:I don't think the recharge part is much of a problem. I mean, a good number of educated people got tha part. It's the consistency of the very simple gaffes that shows the extent of damage in his brain nerves. Imagine a very common acronym like PVC in this election era was what he couldn't get in two trials successively Hell, he even forgot his party name. Every campaign is one gaffe or the other. The hired interpreter and his party member were shocked when he deviated from electricity to a roasted corn. Even Buhari, who put on a far better show, was seen for the failure he would be. People adamantly went on to polish him, vote him and in some instances, force him into power. Now we are crying. The signs are here again and some unrepentant idiots are threading the lines of religion and tribalism to overlook the glaring signs. At the end, we're can gloat in winning a stupid battle but end up making the journey tougher for our kids. Vote wisely. |
What is this madness with flyovers? This is actually disgusting. |
