I can relate to being unfairly banned. As a brother from across the Niger, I implore you to take it easy. You have to understand that not everyone understands things the way you do. I'm sorry if this seems intrusive but please, let's show the meek side of our nature in such situations.

Long story cut short, after enduring GoTV last season, I managed to install DSTV and subscribe to DSTV Compact Plus, Ignoring their free Compact subscription that lacks SS3.

It took about two hours of burning fuel to get the service up and running yesterday, and when I finally watched Man Utd vs Southampton on SS3 HD, I believed all my soccer problems are over.

You won't believe that since 9am this morning till about 15 mins ago when my generator went off, I have had the same subscription error E16-4. That is if you take away the cash I used on airtime calling Customer Care, loading and reloading their self-service page. Considering that this is not pay-per-view, not getting this service when I want it means that I am being cheated off my money.

There has been no complaints of network issues from others who are enjoying theirs, I'm totally disappointed with the flops of what I initially considered a major upgrade.

I woke up tonight to carry out some downloads on the Airtel Night Browsing Data Plan. I left my phone on last night so when I woke up to a fluctuating mobile data service that goes off for some minutes after it comes on, I suspected the phone had developed a fault. I tried another airtel line in another phone, and it had a stable browsing network and I became convinced that the phone had an issue.

i quickly subbed on the other line and googled what the problem could be. The solutions bordered on 'wipe cache', 'soft reset' and 'factory reset'. I tried the first two but it didn't solve it. I was unwilling to factory reset and lose all my data, and since my device is not rooted, backup to restore was going to be a full time job.

I googled more and came upon this set of solutions whose first step was for me to contact my service providers and confirm that there is no problem at their end. Just then, I remembered that I put 'Airtel' messages on blacklist. On checking it, there was a message stating specifically that there will be an upgrade within the early hours of today, which explains my problem. Choi! What a sigh of relief.

I have since removed Airtel from my blacklist. Shout out to those who experienced the same problems and those prepared to call Airtel a scam this morning.

I tried to do some of this but came to the reality that you must have financial stability first. Therefore, jobless isn't the only clause. You must have an alternative source of income, Parents or guardians sponsorship.

You forgot those days when you would spend close to 50k if you wanted to download data of such volume. Go and apologize to Airtel for Scamming on their integrity.
