A visit to the official website of this award will expose the untruth behind the topic. It is always nice to see Nigerians holding their own in developed countries, but celebrating such with a view of misleading the public is not encouraged, especially on a popular forum like Nairaland.

The said award is ordered and paid for by teachers, principals or school personnels of institutions including Elementary school and High school grades for students who perform excellently in the classroom. It is totally a school or classroom affair and the highest official privy to this is the Class Teacher or the School Principal, not the President as we have been led to believe. The 'Presidents' tag is just as much a name as living in an estate named after President Buhari doesn't mean he's aware of your existence.
