Many parts of Delta are Igbos. You can hear yourself when they speak; that's if you're Igbo. Slight differences in the words, but recognisable all the same But I don't know how to react to telling him to remain mute. It's like appreciating the Northern leaders who remain mute over BH and Islamic extremists killings probably because they support and revel in it? |
Come 2019, the SouthEast will still stand by their candidate, or not vote at all instead of towing the path of Zombism. All these hating works in a motivational way in the average Igbo. That's why your paymasters will most likely make a martyr out of Nnamdi Kalu without them realising it #ZombiesAllTheWay ![]() |

My answer would be inappropriate because of inflation. |

Yeah they do if you buy rubbish |
Maybe. He's on excursion, so we can't conclude. That a player comes off the bench to score a hattrick in the UCL final is not enough to guarantee the Ballon d'Or. |
1.6 GHz ke? I'm not really into systems but I feel that is low. |
As I alighted from the bike that brought me to Alaba International Market Ojo in Lagos, it felt good to hear all around me, a familiar language, the language of my brothers;my roots, Igbo language. I was here to do a sort of market survey on many products for a starter in the electricals/electronics line, back home in Imo State. As I wandered about, it struck me as amazing how one can hear so many dialects of one language being spoken freely in a region that is far far away from home. Being here, it was hard to believe that I was not in Onitsha or Owerri towns. Anyways, when I entered a shop, I found myself speaking my own dialect and the shop owner understood me easily, and helped me with my inquiries. Thirteen shops I went to, all but one attended to my request easily; some going the extra mile to enhance my results. The only one that didn't help out, and was unwilling to wasn't a tribesman; else he'ld have ruined this narration. The most beautiful part was nobody showed any surprise at hearing me speak Igbo in a foreign region. They just took it in their stride as we conversed. Even the person who gave me wire quotations recognized my Mbaise dialect and asked directly if I was from there. It was a jolly moment trading pleasantries at a place where I was expecting to be hard done. I'm home now, reminiscing over the day, and I'm happy I got to feel at home away from home. Igbo kwenu! |

When one is famous, it is for a particular reason, like being known for something, I guess. But popularity is on a general note. For example, Lagos is popular, but Obudu is famous, something like that. |
That sh*t sucks. Why rating faceless individuals? It's ideally 'Most Valuable Pretender' contest or 'Best Famzing Clique Contest' from the way usernames seem to campaign for usernames here. |
I guess after eating and using the food items, they will hang the nylon wraps on their camp walls as a portrait . As if someone else is waiting to claim that the foodstuffs were given by him. It will be different (maybe) if he was campaigning. But now, you have been elected. Your people expect delivery. |
He who laughs last, laughs best. On behalf of the Name Checkers Association, I appreciate the efforts of Adaobi, Nwodo, Chidimma and Nnachebe for emulating the tenacity of their tribe and rising above hate to achieve their aims ![]() |

You should know how Nigerian Politics of Hate functions, especially in the hands of a headstrong unfeeling military personnel. To him, that was bullshit. Only his opinion matters now. |
ECTOPIA CORDIS. Unfortunately, there is a very low chance of survival, especially in a country with poorly equipped hospitals. |
Do you involve the police when you fight with your family member? Do you involve the police when you have a fight with a stranger? It simply answers your question. Your respect for strangers is the reason you don't behave as freely as you would in your home. It's an internal crime and would be handled as such. You fail to mention the reason for his death however, unlike that of Late Bridget which was known to be tied to a region and character famous for these killings that are polarizing the country, especially as the populace feels the government sympathy lies with the said tribe. It's not enough to be painted as hypocrisy. You can't say the numbers of murders that hit the news from the North accounts for all the murders in the North. Once the reason for the boy's murder is not justified in any dimension, expect calls for the perpetrators' heads. |
Bonaguy:Called his bluff |
The time of charging depends majorly on the mAh rating of your charger. If you have a 2000mAh battery, and you use a 1.0 A (1000mA) charger, that means it will be charged for 2000/1000 = 2 hours before it gets full. Anything more or less depends on the charging circuit in the phone. Although in Nigeria here, many of the roadside chargers we see have the wrong ratings on them for selfish purposes. |
Hmmm.. As Igbos strive to make it irrespective of their beginnings, so does excessive greed tend to mislead a good number of them. I want to believe it's not particular to this tribe, but it is becoming too much. |
La click.. La bendo |
Good reply. This social media is being abused by unserious people daily. |
We expect good governance, yet we collect funds to vote them in. Nigeria is still a long way from redemption. |
Are you talking a landlord in Ijora Badia? ![]() |
I think it was too early to visit a beer joint. It's not even 4:00pm yet. |
Good tutorial. Many writings have this error strewn all over. However, a concise review of the twelve tenses instead of just 'been' and 'being' would surely go a long way. |
