Is this for real? |

I see Sahara Reporters are keen to drive this news till the very end?? #fingers crossed in disbelief# |
In essence, it was a futile visit as regards security challenges? Not saying Presido shouldn't have fun. He just didn't include it in his campaign promises that we'll be seeing a replay of Jona's regime. |

If you hear the monthly budget for these dogs; food and treatments only, you go look the guy eyeball to eyeball for like ten minutes to confirm whether he dey serious about the figure wey just comot from his mouth. |
PassingShot:And you are? |
Perhaps he should talk less and do more. We had enough from PEJ last tenure. |
One is for the Cameras while the other is a Welcome/Goodbye handshake. |
Who is a 'tanoid'? |
Oluwaplumpie:Sorry about the quite cryptic remark but a 'Seadog' confraternity making a big show by publishing a letter distancing themselves from undergraduates, and then went ahead to begin such formal letter with 'Dear Sir' doesn't say much about how particular they really are. XYZ |
Well, I learnt women do not necessarily need sex before feeling gratified. A simple show of wanting them satisfies them in some case. Also, the sexual libido is men is much more higher than that of women. So they feel less inclined to have sex at every turn without a sense of duty. |
If you made a mistake, the best step would be to apologize regardless of your boss' action. That he is unprofessional and uncouth doesn't mean you'll be least inclined to make the same error. |
Okijajuju1:None of which you mentioned, sorry. |
And the open salutation of your formal letter began with 'Dear Sir'. Wasn't hunting for errors but that secondary level mistake stood out. #GraduatesTho' |
INTROVERT:Actually, only those who act that way deserve recognitions. I look at those who don't thread identical paths as social misfits and intellectually weak. |
BB013:Good. A patriotic citizen looks out for the progress in life of the citizenry first, before any other thing. I am happy that you're achieving your life's dream by insulting me. At least you're fulfilling your destiny. Feel free to do so anytime you feel frustrated with life. Don't forget the username. |
BB013:As you have successfully insulted me, I hope you now feel accomplished in life? |
Na only wattmeter e dey power? Abi e reach our houses so? |
IdiAmin1:It is safe, like they're not primarily violence-oriented, at least, without provocation. Being cut-off from the rest of Delta, and Nigeria, you may add, they are warm and receptive to people from civilization who can manage to identify with them, despite the inconveniences. I can't mention the exact community I'm in, but all of them along the Niger suffer the same fate. Their only gain from the government are the solar powered lights. No electric pole, not to speak of electricity despite having a gas turbine plant around for many years |
IdiAmin1:As in ehn. During my time there, I sought to call government attention and run all sorts of campaign to expose their plight, but I was warned by a close friend to be careful of the people getting these allocations. He said they won't tolerate such exposure of their misdemeanours and that I had better thought out my safety first. I had to rethink and reschedule my act for next year. Now, I'm just collating data and learning their system more Their problem is the political structure. |
Don't let the heavy allocations or towns like Asaba, Warri and co. fool you, Delta State has been run aground by greed and corruption. It is a curse to be called an 'oil community'. Most of Delta communities are surrounded by creeks and water. I can mention over 40 huge communities that equals Asaba in land mass like that. The kind of underdevelopment that hits these places are so heartbreaking. They labour from dusk to dawn, paddling, fishing or farming, cut off from civilization by expensive boat and road transport fares. Their children either run away from the cage or settle there to become young husbands and wives, to raise more kids for the hustle of survival while erosion eats their mud houses and few concrete buildings as they move further inland. The younger ones are neglected and allowed to run wild while their parents toil away, their future not assured beyond SSCE (forget JAMB), that's if at all they complete secondary school before getting married off. It's better you travel inland and see with your own eyes. Ignore those town boys who doesn't even know the boundaries of their own hometown. I hope Gov. Okowa has a better plan for their futures. |
krazydave:Buhahahahaha.. Don't give up yet. Oluwa wa |
ONYX5:Lwkmd.. My first real Nairaland laugh in almost 3 months.. Lol #vex |
Sirjohn84:Okay. |
Sirjohn84:Wetin he do wey make power improve in the past 44 days? |
Whatever they want to do with the country, let them do. I supported my candidate and he lost and I've moved on with my life like I would have done anyways. Y'all had best done the same. |
Congratulations to all Comrades especially Delta Kopas! All the way from Ndokwa East, I dey hail. Corpers Wiii! #Good2Go |
