That's the craze of it all. We know how corrupt these folks are, yet we adore them like gods, giving them celebrity status instead of the degradation they deserve. Jonathan, although inclusive, made a statement that was twisted out of shape, but reflects the supposed assumption the common man should patronize. He said that stealing isn't corruption; that many are being called corrupt whereas they are thieves, citing that people detest thieves immensly compared to those labelled corrupt. This essentially is the issue. We know they're bad, but we don't address them as the thieves they are, hence their 'god-status'. Nigeria will get better one day, I hope. In the meantime, we have to make ends meet till they sort themselves out. |
FuckTheMod:A sensible person would have re-read my initial suggestion. It's not to late to become sensible. Have a nice life. |
'Ur photo makes me fill s3x' What she really needs is her 3rd term school fees. It isn't too late. You try sha. Posting this grammatical blunder from your ex on Nairaland. It's bad enough to kill an urge ![]() |
FuckTheMod:Who is the doctor here? It pays to pay attention. |
However, he said that after he left, corruption returned to Nigeria with a vengeance.Rice and Beans ![]() See this man o.. |
Misplaced priorities |
That never was.. |
It's a pity she is even considering the issue. |
Coolest |
This issue has been over-flogged.
It's a punishment, yes, and for a good reason too.
He overstepped his boundaries during the past elections. |
Okay. I will warn them. Check again by this time tomorrow ![]() |
For all it's worth, I've never seen the benefit or necessity per se of this 'friendzone' terminology. It's just another 'hippie' lifestyle with no real value like this 'hit back 2 back' craze currently on now. |
What's epic about this look? |
How do I pay for Etisalat 250MB? Do you accept #200 airtime in 2 places? |
Jackzillionaire:For a change. ![]() |
Omagzee:Lol ![]() |
This story has a good lesson for us all. Why not modify and put everything in the first post? You're quite lucky indeed. Trust those Lagos mobs |
Are they still talking about this?
With all the change promises, I don't expect this to be an issue.
But then, the problem lies with all the leaders and their diverse visions! |
Don't mind them. As at when the country was in distress during the past regime, they sat cross-legged behind the media to spew anti-progressive trash, especially, berating their decision to reach out to other countries for aid. Now that they're bearing the weight of the cap, they're pleading for support and repeating the same antics of soliciting help from other countries. Well, the blood of the citizenry is worth much more than their political ambitions, else, they'ld have reaped exactly what they sowed. |
Omagzee:I don refresh thrice, yet the story never complete.. Please hurry up so I can modify this post to 'Thank God for your life' jare ![]() Meanwhile, don't start 'attention' with capital letter again. So we can understand what you mean ![]() |
See the devil playing tic-tac-toe with people's lives. Even as the trailer may be balanced by other tires, it's better not to tempt the devil. She doesn't even need temptation before she acts ![]() |
Mtschew.. That's how they'ld be running away from responsibility. After ruining the party with their greed, they're seeking an easy way out. And they expect the citizenry to trust them with the country's leadership ![]() |
naija8080:This comment of yours is avoidable. This is just Nairaland, not Nigeria. It is not all perception of injustice that we must respond on impulse to. |
It's a club. All sorts of frivolities are expected. The news would have been seeing someone dressed like this:
|
He's an idiot.
Got paid exactly what he deserved.
He thinks the people making honest money are fools |
Talented. |
Now that is one ugly piece of metal. With the level which we placed their technical-know-how, they're beyond this. Tell me a Nigerian did this with no top-notch funds, that I'll believe. After viewing the headline of frontpage, this is what I expected to see, honestly.
|
Except for the last man on that worktop, this would have looked like the launch of a Computer Centre of sorts because the rest are just watching him. |
May God bless and guide him. Unfortunately, Nigerian politics is too murky for him to safely navigate to the top. Once he gets into a position of great influence over a state or a country, the 'powers-that-be' will ensure his conversion to a 'no-do-gooder' so that they can siphon funds. |
Toks2008:Damn.. This 'SPEAKER' dey yab ni o. ![]() |
It is he who wears the shoe that knows where it pinches. While it is good to do just what you enjoy, it is even more critical to stay in line with reality. Necessity is the mother of invention. As long as you need the cash, you'll be comfortable with whatever you get, trust me. A more viable article in the face of Nigerian climate would be 'How to make ends meet by all legit means'. Nigeria isn't self-sufficient enough for one to rely on comfort zone. By the way, over 120,000 fresh graduates will be introduced into the labour market come April. Brace up or lose your job. |
