femisplash:INEC didn't request for it. But since you're interested, he isn't stopping you either BECAUSE he has nothing to hide. 😎 |
"I don't need to put an injunction to stop you from seeing it. Go and tell them in Nsukka, they will give you my transcript" Shots fired. |
Just saying, wha opportunity did Lineker have to talk to Ronaldo when their careers are ages apart? I mean, take a look Lineker retired before Ronaldo even made his professional debut but is sharing opinions on Ronaldo moments with Ferdinand who shared dressing room with Ronaldo for at least, six seasons? Except he expects Ronaldo to be running after pundits instead of his football career, it's a really weird take.

A sad situation. |
Fake news if this image is from the source. A simple Google search would have revealed that. This same image has been used in countless publications across different timelines.

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. It is difficult for a dirty leader to lead a clean life because at the slight semblance of uprightness, the devils you still dine with will turn you belly up. Live an honest life. E get why. |
gambojimeta:Oh please.. Dasuki was also from the North and was kept 'in custody' for 4 years.. So what? No one is falling for those abracadabra again, Oga. |
Supported. However, he who comes to equity comes with clean hands. You'd need a better candidate to do that since your principal is running away from being investigated also. |
Chrome YouTube Netflix may have ranked high too but I use it on my laptop instead. Tethering is almost thrice these four combined. |
windvane:My bad. I got it mixed up |
A woman killed her stepson in Ikorodu area of Lagos. His corpse was about to be dumped before their neighbour caught them. The police was invited and shortly after, the corpse was brought out, wrapped in a mat. As soon as the mat was opened and the dead boy's face became visible, the crowd let out a wail at the sight of the lifeless body.@Nwaadaz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5yvYNJ_L7U

There are three arms of government in Nigerian 'democratic' setting: The Executive. The Legislative. The Judiciary. The first two are sacrosanct in terms of their power. Each can make the other bow, so no doubt about their 'checks and balance' But the judiciary, which is 'the hope of the common man' has been relegated to a mere 'textbook arm'. They are at the beck and call of the former two. |
It's like that house was built by them; and not so long go, judging by the state of the paint. I wonder what it would cost to build such home from start to finish. And they have such a huge power generator for a small home. What could they be using it for? |
In a series of tweets shared yesterday on the X platform, an X user with the handle @KcUzoka, reveals what transpired between a lawyer, Douglas Ogbanka (Esq), who is the Director of Strategic Communications, African Bar Association and the Department of State Security operatives, when he came with his client, presumably on invitation. "I visited the DSS Office with my client and we were at the Waiting Room when two different ladies at intervals wanted to take my client to go and make statement with out my presence. I protested that I need to be present by the Provisions of the ACJA." It was at that moment that one man wearing blue native attire that I know is the PSO, Operations and Intelligence, came out asked my client to come out and shouted at me to go back to the reception. it was at this point, I informed him that I was not a Kindergarten pupil that should be pushed around, because he was very uncouth , rude and aggressive He then said I should leave the Office and I told him ,the DSS Office is an Agency of the Federal Government and I was a freeborn , who should be able to access same at reasonable hours of the day. It was then I asked my client that we should leave .We were leaving when the PSO Operations and Intelligence ,asked that they should lock the gate that I was under arrest. I informed him that being assertive is not a crime , but a right as we are in a free society. He slapped me immediately and asked his boys to bundle me into an Underground cell. I was dragged on the floor, cleared from my leg, I received over 7 slaps and blows. I stood up and informed them that they are no longer doing SSS Business, but their personal business as I do not know the State Command Officers to act this way. This PSO Operations and Intelligence is new and Lawyers have really suffered in his hand. I told him the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria must hear this and he said they are the President Boys. One of them even said they will kill me here and nothing will happen. I am presently scared for my life as, the man holding gun said if I come to the DSS Office again , they will gun me down. Dennis Ogbankwa (Esq) is quite the man, the legend in the foundations of Nigerian Bar, having tutored a number of the next generation lawyers and anchoring various radio programmes in the same light. https://twitter.com/KcUzoka/status/1706783670303080508?t=sT5qyPgnvUZFH3TGx_0Q9w&s=19 nlfpmod

What is a petrol dispenser doing in a tax-related problem? |
I'm thinking aloud. What if patrolmen are put there over a stretch of time as a deterrent to anyone who tries to set up shop, instead of stealing their food? The photos look like thieves carting away loot to be honest. |
At this point I have to ask, where does all of this end really? It's becoming really exhausting at this point. This purported affidavit from 1999 showed the following: -Attended Children Home School, Ibadan - Attended Government College, Ibadan - Attended and graduated from Richard Daley College, 1969-1971 - University of Chicago with a Bsc in Economics from 1972-1976 - Chicago State University from 1977-1979 with a degree in Business and Administration. Could this publication of denial by the school really be the reason we no longer hear about the 'University of Chicago?' Where does fiction end and where does reality begin?

Lucyspa:I understand, my Gee. But like I said, there are still many sensible ones, just as there are weird ones amongst us. Do not forget, one of ours is a proponent and has following in Imo State. |
Go and Verify is not for the faint hearted.

SUPERPACK:Great song! I used to own a Phil Collins Gold Collections. I lost it while renovations was ongoing in my homeland. 🥲 |
opamoses1:Okay boss.

TakeNigeriaBack:Did you apply to UNN, WAEC or CKC for them and he tried to talk you out of it or sent a lawyer after you, in any form or manner to stop you? Listen to this loud and clear! He has told you what a certain person cannot say with his full chest. GO AND VERIFY!!!!!! |
DrGoodman:This is the crux. He's too clean for the 'typical' African leader. And that's why 'positive' Nigerians are rooting for him. We need someone up there to reset the Nation and start the cleansing from the top. However, it was always expected that the old order will fight back. The onus is on us, parents of the next generation, through our thoughts, words and actions, to ensure our children and their children, do not have to inherit a country that puts any citizen at a disadvantage by virtue of birth. ![]() |

Previous thread where the alleged revocation of Obi's land broke: https://www.nairaland.com/7849366/peter-obi-others-lose-abuja |
Earlier, he stated this in interviews during the campaigns, mentioning he was gifted lands in his home state, Anambra, as well as in Abuja, but saw no reason why he should amass wealth while holding a public office in service of his people.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5N0n5bPROQ Recall that Wike upon resumption of office as the FCT Minister had vowed to revoke undeveloped plots and those whose ground rents had not been paid for years. Wike recently gave allottees defaulting in the payment of their ground rent a two-week grace to pay their obligations or risk revocation of their allocations. The parcel of land in question which is located in the highbrow Katampe District of Abuja was allocated to Obi by the then FCT Minister Bala Mohammed (now Governor of Bauchi) as a gift, however, Obi REJECTED this ‘gift’. Recall that earlier this year, in the run-up to the election, Peter Obi revealed he was gifted a land in Abuja but he turned it down. Since Peter Obi didn’t take ownership of the said land, he never did any paperwork to claim nor develop it even after Wike’s ultimatum, this is because he never accepted ownership of the property. Further investigation revealed that the title on the land was a ‘Letter of Allocation’ from FCTA which is a land title issued by the Federal or a State Government after which the recipient is supposed to file and obtain proper ownership title eg. Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) or Right of Occupancy (R of O) which ultimately indicates that the bearer is the authentic & genuine owner of a land or property. CONCLUSION: In as much as the ‘Letter of Allocation’ bears his name, Obi never filed for proper ownership rights of the land at FCTA as required by law, hence it is misleading to say that he owns the said parcel of land especially when he openly rejected it. VERDICT: MISLEADING https://x.com/ApendixxMag/status/1705672407942394363?s=20
