The above bolded is a hasty generalization, especially when you consider that some people born into those countries and into those belief systems are Christians today. Lmao. Don't you think Buddhism is the true way to God. Why do you choose Christianity? |

4everGod1: The natural disasters that happen on other planets of what direct consequence are they to you on earth. Have you ever blamed God for the Natural Disasters on those planets? Is your angst no longer about its effect on Humans? What business of yours is a natural disaster on an empty planet?
Here you are on earth..fully comfortable yet you are using a natural disaster on a barren empty planet to ask a presumably intelligent question.
Young man the other planets are playing their roles just like Jupiter whose role is to protect earth from all the huge chunks of space rock as its like a bodyguard to earth.
Stop asking questions that negate your intelligence.
How many Jupitarians or Uranians have died from the natural disasters that happen on those planets? Do you know of any?
The question you should be asking is why did Life conveniently choose earth to thrive and not any other planet? Are there animals or other forms of humans on other planets?
You atheists claim to be thinkers but all I see is a shallowness in that thinking process that chooses to block out rationality but would rather be comfortable with delusion. The illogical one is you. 4evergod, Lennycool, et al., Y'all should stop directing your arguments at the person, it's not nice at all, rather attack the subject at hand. It's not a verbal abuse like most women do. It's an intellectual argument. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Now I Am Feed Up! I Am Done With The Christian Faith, I See What Athiets See Now by DeSepiero(m): 9:03am On Nov 04, 2016 |
Lennycool: If natural disasters are a consequence of human sin. Then why do they happen on other planets, jupiter, mars, Uranus e.t.c and even outside our solar system. One can logically attribute natural disasters to sin considering the fact that most of the factors responsible for natural disasters are anthropogenic. |

4everGod1: Suite yourself especially when translators have linked the same word to the word YAYIN then I suggest you cross reference both.
Have fun. From that site of yours, linking it to Yayin doesn't still erase that possibility because yayin is either fermented or unfermented. We both know fermentation results in alcohol production. So, in essence, Yayin can still have significant amounts of alcohol.

4everGod1: This has already been thrashed out and accepted by one of yours.
in a nutshell...Greek origin of the word for Wine used in John 2 and ots meaning and the what context the word was used.
Easy as pie. A little research goes a long way. Considering that the Greek word 'Oinos' could be used for wine (alcoholic beverage) or grape juice (nonalcoholic beverage), my research does not totally rule out the possibility that the drink in question is an alcoholic beverage. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Story Of Jesus: A Plagiarized Lie Christians Need To Stop Believing. by DeSepiero(m): 2:24pm On Nov 03, 2016 |
4everGod1: No my notion is that Oinos is a generic word for Wine in greek but is not specific for alcoholic wine. I am sure tou read rhe new link I sent you thoroughly and agree with it otherwise you would have raised more objections as you are well known to do. Still on the argument I see. But what makes you believe that the drink which Jesus allegedly produced (miraculously) is certainly a nonalcoholic beverage? |

4everGod: Its either you are dense upstairs or just plain moronic. Have you carried out the research I advised u to?
So you do not know in greek their word for Wine also meant grape juice bit for you to differentiate it you need to see the contest in which it was used.
Today even Latin words help us build up our English as there are words in Latin yet without English versions but people just make do with the best word for it how much more greek
Oga updaye yourself as it would be for your own good not mine. Fine, can you save the day and provide us with the Greek/Hebrew word translated as wine in that Bible verse? |

Christianity Etc › Re: The Story Of Jesus: A Plagiarized Lie Christians Need To Stop Believing. by DeSepiero(m): 2:11pm On Nov 02, 2016 |
4everGod: The wine which came from the water Jesus turned was not alcoholic.
For wine to be alcoholic the grapes must have been fermented and Jesus did not need grapes for the miracle all he needed was water so where did the alcoholic content come from?
NO GRAPES...NO FERMENTATION....MEANS NO ALCOHOLIC CONTENT.
Read and read and read some more so knowledge would hit you square in the face. Like I said, if there's no alcohol, it's no wine. Maybe you should ask Jesus or the Bible authors 'what the water really turned into' or 'why they chose to call it wine when according to you, it doesn't contain alcohol'. |
