Let the bad, ignorant ones be ashamed for themselves, there is no point feeling embarrassed for somebody else's actions. If so called Nigerians are ashamed of actions other Nigerians what do we expect from non-Nigerians.

online dating is the modern way to cheat. Most ppl go online to do the pick up thingy while still in relationships. They have intension of being faithful, still skeptical abt it.

For me 1- 2yrs, enough time to get to know each other, and if for any reason he/she is not the right one, dust your shoulders and move on. Living together also helps to see how the person runs the home, plans and unwind. Anything more than 2yrs will make either party too comfortable or uncomfortable and the novelty wears out.

judging on looks alone, i reckon it is going to be btw miss Niger and miss Lagos state. Personally, i will give to miss Lagos but there are other factors to consider in the actual competition itself.

I'm glad to know i can be of help, it is strange because those were my ex's exact words when i asked him what was wrong with us, i think they must be related in a weird way, he is also 29 years old!!!.
Breaking up with him should be done in a firm but non-aggressive way, i know his type will always come back crying but be strong and don't give in. I'm sure he will find a girl that fit those criteria in his dreams and you deserve a good man that is just happy being with you and loves you in return. Good luck!!!

I very much agree with you here, I have also notice that the Ibo tribe are too tribalist when it comes to the Yoruba or frankly speaking everybody else that isn't Ibo weird and shocking

@foskybaby, I can relate to you on this discussion because i was in the same situation myself, it lasted for one year before i finally decided that i can do better than that for myself. No man should ever think he is better than you (well paid job or not), if he cheats on you now, what makes you think that he wont do it again and again, if he said you are not the type of girl he wants to marry, i can imagine any miracle that will suddenly make him change his mind.

Well, my ex said the same to me because he feels i don't give him enough respect because i don't depend on him financial and he thinks because of my affluent background i won’t be submissive,  don’t get me wrong, I tried to be all he wanted me to be but that didn't changed the fact the he was feeling insecure and men will always use the reverse psychology to make you look like the bad one.

My advice to you is to walk out of this relationship before it is too late, he doesn't love you, if he did, he should see you as an equal regardless, A real man should be proud to walk shoulder to shoulder with his woman, A relationship should be a partnership where both parties support each other and not a constant battle for leadership.

Firstly, i must say, i have nothing but pure admiration for you and I'm sure you are a good mother.

One question i wanted to ask  was he aware that you were carrying his child before he left Nigeria?
If not, he must be in total shock when he finds out, and might not be in his best interest as he might have formed a new relationship. On the other hand, if he knew you were pregnant and deliberately ignored his responsibilities, i think you give him a proper burst up.

All been said, you should do what is best for your child and shouldn't do this single handedly involve any authoritative figure IE a family member.

I went on the Special-K diet, 2 bowls of Kellogg's special K in a day and one large meal in between(preferably Lunch). I eat lots of fruits during the day, drink at least 1 litre of water and skip for half an hour everyday. I know this might sound extreme and not recommended for everyone, but it works for me.

Kay, I'm not trying to loss weight right now but i gained 1 stone over Christmas and manage to loss it in one month. My friends do come to me regularly for advice on how to gain muscle tone and lose weight. I don't go to the gym but manage to invent my own home made work out regime.

i think it is a cruel and devious thing to do, why date someone if you don't intend to start something serious with them? personally, I do go on dates with guys and if i don't see us being serious in the future, i will let them know immediately .
