Sometimes you have to remind people such as her
Expatiate. Who are people "such as her"?
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is Second Boro by Desola(f): 5:24pm On Jul 03, 2011
You cannot ostracize a group that are 30 million+ I would have hoped that you would have come to the realization that to ostracize the Ndigbo at your own peril. Look at how Abiola did not become president because of Igbo sons.

Thank you Arthur Nzeribe.

And if you think the Igbos are disliked, ask all the neighbors to the Ijaw. Even your people were violated by Ijaws who kidnapped one of
your obas.

Don't quote me except you are directly referred to.

I just wish to come to NL and never see your username.

They will eventually oostracise themselves in Nigeria. No one likes them, not even the Ijaws! They just have a way of grating on people!

PoliticsRe: Lagos Begins E-registration by Desola(f): 2:16pm On Jun 30, 2011
City that used to be the Nation's
capital edge them out.

The key word being "used to be".

You people need to get over that saying, go back home and start to develop your land. How many more ways do we have to tell you that you have outstayed your welcome?

We have nothing in common with you lot. Culturally, we are miles apart! grin
PoliticsRe: Lagos Begins E-registration by Desola(f): 4:26am On Jun 30, 2011
The E registration will be a very wonderful project but what happened to the national I'd project that was aborted by OBJ that would have been better.

If the project is skewed to edge igbos out of lagos like someone suggested then the following will likely follow up, the passing of a bill in the national assembly for the New commercial capital of Nigeria in kogi state or calabar , which will be followed up by another bill that will compel all the Oil companies headquaters and the federal parastatals like CBN , NNPC , NPA e.t.c to relocate their headquarters to the new commercial capital , then Lagos will finally be a yoruba city.
Okay, after loosing it for a bit, try and gather yourself together, re-read that gibberish and re-write another post. Try and make a coherent one this time.

Kai! Common sense sure isn't common!!
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Council Of Elders (YCE) Wants Tambuwal Tried With Bankole by Desola(f): 12:08am On Jun 23, 2011
Ezeuche,

isn't it sad how you lot think? That a Yoruba man has to fall before you gain any kind of relevance? You are basically saying that so long a Yoruba man is alive, you will never amount to anything?

Kai! what a mentality! You people need to stop selling yourselves so short.

Grow some SELF ESTEEM!!! Stop living under the radar of the Yorubas!

PoliticsRe: Acn Concedes 2015 To Jonathan? by Desola(f): 11:38am On Jun 19, 2011
very stupid man.

He has made some very strong and sentimental statements which i'm sure he does not have figures or history to back up. I really don't like it when some politicians make some incoherent statements without due facts.

He has shot himself in the foot in several areas. I would advise him to leave his nose stuck in Ogun politics!

PoliticsRe: Senate Leadership: ACN, Minority Parties Reject Tinubu’s Candidate by Desola(f): 5:27pm On Jun 14, 2011
Ose egbon mi. The best quote so far
I am glad south-westerners are waking up to the reality on ground. We the people on ground most especially in lagos will/would never allow Tinubu to be our leader. I don't care if he is Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Ogun etc allow him to be their leader but Lagos it is a "no no" situation. If other south-western states are happy with Tinubu, then by all mean let him rule them but Lagos he can not rule. ACN stands in lagos now because of Gov.Fashola who majority of us love. Even fashola is not doing enough for the money he collects from the states. Between Fashola and Tinubu 2 trillion Naira has gone down unaccounted for with in 1999 to 2011. Tinubu borrowed 150 million dollars in the name of Lagos state during his tenure. He planned to build a railway project in the state with this money which as of today Fashola has also borrowed a similar amount in the name of this project. Eko Atlantic is not Fashola's doing but banks donated money in other to pay back in good will to the state. Fashola has nothing to do with eko atlantic.

So the question. What has Fashola and Tinubu done for the state which happens to be the commercial capital of Africa.
Seriously? He cannot rule Lagos? As a matter of fact, he is done ruling Lagos, but OWNING it! Whether you like am, whether you no like am, Tinubu is the baba Isale and undesputable owner of Lagos state, no one holds that title.
What I wouldn't do however, is go as far as declare him the Asiwaju of Yorubaland. Now, that is a feat he cannot achieve in this lifetime but when it comes to Lagos, he is the DON. Tinubu is what the Queen is to the UK and Fashola is what Cameron is.
PoliticsRe: Nwankwo Kanu Appointed A Special Adviser To Gov Rochas by Desola(f): 5:19pm On Jun 14, 2011
Igbos dont get appointments outside their states based on sentiments. It is based on their contributions to the development of their host state.
Your people should learn this and stop complaining unnecessarily.
Give me good examples of how the ibos have contributed to Lagos, please do.
PoliticsRe: Senate Leadership: ACN, Minority Parties Reject Tinubu’s Candidate by Desola(f): 5:11pm On Jun 14, 2011
There is no war in the ACN, the members basically do what the leader says and the ACN know that unity is vitality right now. ACN has gone with Tinubu's choice, all that is being aired here is the debate that went on before the agreement.

The real war now would be between Akume and Mark and the mere fact that Mark is already throwing his toys out of the pram shows that there is a lot to be afraid of should Akume become leader. This should be a fun ride but my bet as ever is on Tinubu to ace this. He is simply the best!
