ndu_chucks: Desola, when people went to the polls and voted, they did not have a say whatsoever in who was presented to them for obvious reasons. The votes cast were essentially useless and you know it. You also need to learn how to read. I do not object to any regional economic cooperation between states and even regions, unfortunately, that is not what you people are talking about. You are clearly not very bright and it appears that you spew garbage just for the sake of it. The voters had a choice to either stay at home or go out to perform their civic/constitutional duties. Furthermore, they had a choice to vote the ACN or PDP or any other political party but they chose ACN, warts and all. Saying the poeple's votes were useless is a slap and an utter insult on the intelligence of my people. Clearly, you know nought of the term 'democracy' you keep bandying about on this thread. You are not against regional economic integration, yet you are crying blue murder that it is unconstitutional? You clearly can't tell your right from wrong and know fuc.kole about the constitution of the country. It is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're a fool rather than opening your gob and removing all reasonable doubt. Ndu_chuks - you are a fool! |
ndu_chucks: You are not known to make your points with lies and you don't have to resort to them to butress any point you want to make. This claim of yours that I issue blanket objections to everything the SW plans is a bold face lie at best. The problem with some of you ACN/Tinubu goons is that you believe that any ACN/Tinubu based interest in the southwest is always the best for the region. That kind of thinking and the anti democratic manner with which ACN candidates are annointed, is anti democratic and almost criminal.Though the claim of the undemocratic manner in which the ACN candidates were selected might be difficult to refute, it is rather disingenuous and sinister of you to say that the eventual emergence of the governors or representative was as a result of imposition by the godfather of the ACN. Yoruba people went out to the polls and genuinely cast their votes for those who ended up in the public offices and in giving the representatives and governors their mandate, they are in effect agreeing to their policies which the economic integration happens to be one. Except of course you are saying that the ACN should have sought a referendum for the people to decide what is obviously in their own best interest. Regional economic integration is no doubt a great initiative except for people like you who believe in the status quo. Awolowo proved it to be the best way to go and we would continue with that legacy whether some quaters in Nigeria want it or not. |
Katsumoto: CorrectPDP is getting desperate and they know that the Southwest is completely out of their grasp but creating new states in the region and placing their stooges in charge and of course buying over the Awujale (seems like they've succeeded in doing so)would give them hope of taking over and keeping the status quo. It is in the interest of the 'owners of Nigeria' to keep things the way it is and not unsettle their gravy bowl. Federalism stops the gravy bowl and they would resist it at all cost. |
kunlejazz: Why Ma? You sound like in your opinion, it's going to do SW more evil than good or, is it a personal thing?. I'd like to know your thoughtspurely because further state creation does not support federalism. It is divisive and could make the Yoruba lose focus of our goals which is to work together to develop a strong economy as it has been parroted by a few on this thread. I see it as an avenue to weaken the western region and further integrate us into the nation that goes to daddy at the centre for pocket money. We need to be self sufficient and the less we delve into the Nigerian project the better for us. We must keep our eyes on the ball. Go the way Awolowo planned for us to go and we will all be better for it. |
Katsumoto: The question is, can the JTF handle uprising in one region considering its failure in silencing Boko Haram and resorting to killing innocent boys?concur! |
ndu_chucks: lt is actually quite offensive to continue to call this scheme Regional Integration, instead of Regional Economic Integration. If you people have latent plans of leaving the union, be bold and say so. In the meantime, the SW will definitely get 2 more states according to my reliable sources.Nigeria is constitutionally a federal state that should recognise federalism so what da heck is your point? Those planned states would not see the light of day! |
dayokanu: Calloti is also my wife Blazay, bootyoneme, Lasinoh Almodjoy etcYes! yes!! Bootyonme, that's her username! I love that woman! She never ceases to crack me up! ![]() |
Sky-walker:It is called notice me or I die! ![]() |
berem: Omo ilugun! Oun wa ja mi o! Ma je ki n sie le se la le yi o!Evidence of Yoruba colonisation. |
Callotti: How sweeet! So Muslim dey kiss Sharia kiss?Chineke...this woman will not kill me on this forum o... ![]() |
Ogbonaikenna: what crime as he committee? Self determination?I'm all for self determination and the preservation of human rights. However, the UK does not have jurisdiction in this regard and saying the UK can just wade in with their powers to release a criminal in a jurisdiction outside of theirs is preposterous and exposes your conclusion to ridicule. |
Callotti: Look who is giving advice? 16 years of stealing, Asaba airport cannot be completed because of Urhobos and their 'how much have you got to settle' stroooooooong, UGLY, palm-wine-tapper faces! Only to be carrying ashawos from continent to continent!!!sorry, Callotti, I mistook you for ibo. You write like a particular bini woman on NL whose username escapes me now. She was just as funny. |
Ogbonaikenna: Onwuka is protected cos he's a UK citizen. I expect the british embassy in nigeria to call the nigeria government immediately for his immediate release. Then the next thing is to close all our borders. Meaning that the biafra immigration center will be employing graduates now. I should better prepare my CV.so British citizens no longer have to abide by the laws of the land of their abode? What utter garbage you spew! |
9ja_I_hail: I just like the awareness Nigeria and it arm forces are helping Biafrans to create, Continue to arrest them BBC/CNN will continue to broadcast their agitation lol.Propaganda second round abi? Just as ojuiku used pictures of kwashiokor children for his starvation propaganda, innit? |
PointB: In actual fact, 'arrest' and detention is the key to re-actualization of Federal Republic of Biafra. I foresee a day will say 2 - 3 million people will march to the various police and army posts in SE in support of the actualization of Biafran insignia, all wearing T-Shirt with the inscription:Now you're talking. When are you gonna join the struggle? |
~Bluetooth:but why? They are only fighting for self determination. I support their cause all the way! |
lekanolas: Gov. Babatunde Fashola kissing his wife at a public eventsuperlicious! Behind every successful man... O seun, o ku aduro tii wa, Mrs. Fashola. |

felifeli:You see am too? ![]() They want Biafra but don't want to leave Lagos. They are like a woman who ties her wrapper, ready to fight but begging others to hold her back. ![]() |
advocate666: Oh, they didn't tell you?Why should we chase you when you are already packing your bags...or are you hoping that we would call you back when you leave? No dull yourself o, infact we are just waiting anxiously for you lot to start moving to your villages. |
T9ksy: Hell no! We fought to put paid to ibo's hegemonic ambition over our region. ![]() |
Mr. Globe:The vulture has showed up again. If you truly love ojukwu like this, why not contract AIDS yourself. Its the fastest way to meet him where he is, I understand he loves you too. my suggestion |
Mr. Globe:May peace continue to elude ojukwu and his disciples. |
ndu_chucks: I knew you belong to the informed elite who have been running the SW aground. Informant ko, media spinner ni.solo makinde! Asiri e ti tu! |
![]() Degis: You guys need to stop manufacturing fake Opium drugs. You have started to unwittingly inhale your obnoxious drug so much so that you can't differentiate between seccession and making demands. You want to secede and at the same time you want to extract concession for your region, whosoever laid this curse on you guys should be appeased |
Yoruba activists mainly remain at home. We don't have 'abroad' activists like your people and the ss. We put our money where our mouths are. seunfly: I am tired of all this so call leaders who does not reside, do bussines, have families or have investment in Nigeria yet they come and instigate problems in already troubled nation after which they will go back to where their own family is, leaving us to the problems they stired. Most of them know that, when it begines it will not affect them, their families and their livelyhood. Yet they will come and divide us the more and create enimity between us. Sometimes i wonder what they want to gain, is it popularity, recognation or contract. |
