Politics › Re: Buhari's Body Language by Desyner: 5:22pm On Dec 24, 2017 |
While I won't deny the body language effect in the initial stage of Buhari's admin, I must say the language has many sides to it. It is favouring islamic herdsmen, prioritizing the north over south among others. His anti corruption crusade is tilted against the opposition. The security challenges too are targetted at favouring northern muslims. The body language has evolved or had many sides to it. |

What a gift! I hope Buhari and Baru are watching. Instead of takling the fuel shortage challenge before them, they are trying to build power plants in the north through the same NNPC they have mismanaged to help kickstart the fuel scarcity. |
Christianity Etc › Should The Poor Look Up To God Or The Rich? by Desyner(op): 11:09am On Dec 24, 2017 |
"Should The Poor Look Up To God Or The Rich" for material help ?
A lot of people today don't want to work and carry the mentality that there is abundance of money on earth but it is just a matter of the rich helping out the poor.
I like to hear from NairaLanders (Muslim and Christian). |

Blue3k: There's more to life than oil. Everyone in this country will simply use there heads to figure out how to be useful in manufacing and service sector. It's no big deal Texas has oil but its not the end all be all for state.
The rules of power is to perpetuate itself. Why exactly would they let go if the benefits are to be had. If they are strong enough to stick together they will. |

I have no doubt all the nice gestures Buhari and his men have been showing towards the south is to help soften the resistance against huge projects about to be sited in favour of the north. The ND is waking up gradually. I expect the SW and SE to follow suite.a |

We are still seeing unbelievable things sir. How can NNPC go to the north to build power plant while bypassing the source of the gas that powers it? How can a fugitive be reinstated and promoted in an anti-corruption workforce? How can Fulanis be killing farmers and nothing is being done about it, but you want to fight BH with $1B extra? What about the refineries ? NNPC is now going into power plants and gas pipelines ? |

LagosCiti: I don't know about that and I'm not a ''change'' chanter either. I just gave a fact. I don't believe in Buhari's government because it's filled with the same set of old politicians. No remarkable ideas in Nigerian politics at the moment and I won't waste my youth singing praises of politicians who are more concerned about how much they can make rather than how to help improve lives and build infrastructures for the next generation. I am not a change fanatic but appreciate its timely intervention in helping us out of a tight corner. Of course politicians are largely the same but I can't deny the slight improvement in leadership we enjoy. |

If you don't have enough information about a topic, please keep quiet. They would have auctioned Nigeria by now. Thank God for change. |
