HeyCorleone: 1 billion.
Imagine if that money had been used for some reasonable project that would directly affect the lives of Nigerians. As it is now, its only function is as a reference point when jobless youths are debating which church is the richest.
I believe God blesses anybody anywhere. It doesn't have to be in a multimillion naira building. So all this is simply needless. Needless just Bill gate. |

Recession in the country is tearing their soul apart, Hunger is showing in their eyes even when they smile in church. Are you sure this new facility will not evently attract hunger to VGC residence? Because, certainly it is the same kind of word of faith at ota that will be preached there. Let's forget fine building They always remain foølish to a føol. He's performing better than Lagos state and even sef, while Lagos is struggling to build an ordinary airport, Osun state will get probably the best airport in Nigeria in less than 1 year. To the point he can't handle recurrent expenditure smoothly. |

Politics › Shouldn't FG Prioritize Refining Of Proven Crude Over Exploration? by Desyner(op): 3:15am On Nov 08, 2017*. Modified: 4:12pm On Nov 10, 2017 |
Yes, Should the Federal Government prioritize refining of proven crude reserves over exploration for more crude like we are are currently witnessing?
Think about it; If Dangote's refinery is promising to create at least 230,000 jobs, simple arithmetic show that his refinery's capacity is 650,000 bpd and govt produces around 2 million bpd.
That means the govt still have enough unprocessed crude to engage the equivalent of two Dangote-sized refinery. That's about 700,000 jobs total on the line or 460,000 extra jobs the government can create should Nigeria decide to refine all her crude.
Now my question is this: why is the govt prioritizing discovery of oil above refining of that which has already been discovered ?
Don't you guys think the government is acting like a man gambling with his 'last card' instead of engaging the raw material he already has to make guaranteed profit? |

The government of Jersey Island on Tuesday gave conditions for the repatriation of $300m Abacha loot to the Federal Government.
The Minister and Attorney General of Jersey Island, Robert J. MacRae, in a meeting with the chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commision, Ibrahim Magu, said the loot would only be released to Nigeria on the condition of the presence of a third party.
MacRae stated that negotiations in respect of repatriation of the $300m being part of the Abacha loot between Nigeria and Jersey Island involving the United States of America, USA, “must be government to government cooperation”.
The EFCC was accompanied at the meeting by four members of the Nigeria delegation.
The meeting took place after a session at the ongoing 7th Session of Conference of State Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, holding in Vienna, Austria.

I doubt they do. They see rivals instead of partners. The sky is suppose to be too large for two birds to collide but that isn't what I observe with EAGLES and most of those other birds . . . |
