Phones › Re: Finally, The Wait Ends As TECNO Launches Phantom 9 With AI Triple Camera. by devbojj: 12:41pm On Jul 09, 2019 |
Am already flexing the phone....its very enhanced in technology... Nice to have the tecno phantom 9. In my dreams....looking forward in having it enoch273: Lagos, Nigeria. 4th July, 2019. – Africa’s most preferred smartphone brand, TECNO, housed under renowned multinational, TRANSSION HOLDINGS, has launched the long-awaited addition to the TECNO Phantom smartphone series. The new device, Phantom 9, comes with an array of enhanced features that bring a whole new dimension to the smartphone experience.
One of its exciting new features include an AI Triple Camera. With TECNO Phantom 9, you can take immersive wide-angle photographs of landscapes, cityscapes and indoor architecture, without breaking a sweat.
“This new device has been in the pipeline for a while. With the amazing AI Triple Camera plus other wonderful features, we are proud to say it was worth the wait. Photography enthusiasts and business professionals will find that is a great addition to their work and entertainment toolbox” said Stephen HA, Vice President of TRANSSION HOLDINGS and Managing Director of TECNO.
Aurora-Inspired Beauty Besides sporting an amazing camera, the new TECNO Phantom 9 draws on beauty from the skies above – the colourful aurora! The impressive aurora, visible in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, inspired the design of this new device. Encased in swirls of red, black and blue of various shades, the device is a stunning masterpiece. Seasoned design engineers from Paris, France worked with the TECNO team to create the look and feel of the new device. It is no wonder that its beauty is unlike any other.
More Than Just Another Camera Phone The AI Triple Camera on the Phantom 9 is a 16MP+2MP+8MP, 120-degree main camera that makes wide angle photography possible. It also makes it possible to take close-up shots that still remain clear. The triple camera supports 2.5cm extreme close-up shots, so details can be seen clearly. For example, if you take a close-up shot of jewelry, each tiny part of that jewelry stands out as the beauty of each detail shines through.
The triple camera function also comes equipped with Google Lens, so the TECNO Phantom 9 can do smart identification of objects as soon they come into the view of the camera. The device does this by automatically showing all the relevant information on the object. This brings a whole new dimension to smartphone photography.
There are also other features that make the device stand out such an Octa-core 2.35GHz MT6765 Processor with 6GB RAM + 128GB memory space. That means plenty of memory space for storing lots of files and no freezing even while running three or more apps simultaneously! All of this is powered by the 9.0 Android Pie and is showcased in a 6.4-inch Full HD AMOLED display. It also has 2 Nano SIM slots.
There is also a Drop Screen Dual Front Flashlight on the new smartphone and TECNO Phantom 9 is the first to feature this. This will greatly help users who take shots at night or in low light conditions. They can now do this with no worries about dark pictures. Other features include Bluetooth 5.0 which makes connecting one device to another easier and transferring files faster; 4G LTE capacity for smooth high-speed browsing; and a sizeable 3,500mAh Battery.
Last but not the least, the device features curved edges which make for an easy firm grip and spares you the heartache of having your phone fall out of your hands. All these and more are reasons to get the TECNO Phantom 9.
TECNO Phantom 9 is a great addition to the PHANTOM series and is an improvement on the older PHANTOM 8. The new device, TECNO Phantom 9, priced at a little over 100,000 naira, proves that TECNO is for Nigerians.

nnaomaog: People say beauty is subjective. They try to explain it by saying that it all depends on who is viewing the object or person in question.
While that is generally true, when it comes to the new TECNO Phantom 9 expected soon from Africa’s most preferred smartphone maker, one cannot help but disagree.
The design of this new device is out-of-this-world, literally speaking, and so is its beauty. The stunning aurora lights that appear as showers of colour in the Northern and Southern hemispheres of our planet inspired the design of this new device.
From leaked images currently available, we can definitely say that the new TECNO Phantom 9* will flaunt swirls of blue, black and red in various shades.
Sources say the new device will be a real game-changer with mind-blowing specs to match the amazing, otherworldly design. We can expect a camera that will be a lot more powerful than the dual camera on the older TECNO Phantom 8, perhaps an AI Triple Camera; a processor that will be equipped to take on huge tasks without any lag; and a much better screen among other things.
Some other expected features on the TECNO Phantom 9 are: In-display Fingerprint Scanner to minimize interruptions; Dual Flashlight for ultra-bright pictures; and Google Lens for easy image recognition on the device.
We also hear the device was crafted by a French design team based in Paris – talk about fine taste! No need to take the Lagos to Paris flight to enjoy French style. We can hardly wait for the device’s release. This also shows how far the brand will go to ensure that their devices are top-of-the-range and proves that TECNO is for Nigerians.
So, what prevents us from getting our hands on this aurora-inspired, French-styled and designed smartphone with AI Triple camera and so much more? Only time. TECNO Phantom 9 is expected to be launched on July 4.
What's your opinion on this?

Phones › Re: Notch Or Not! Learn How To Switch Style On Your Tecno Camon 11 Pro by devbojj: 5:33am On Mar 29, 2019 |
nnaomaog: The notch design made its debut into the smartphone industry in 2017 and had since become a trend.
One of the most talked about device in the African Mobile market late last year was the TECNO Camon 11 and Camon 11 Pro. It came in a unique design and has this glossy look which is sure to catch the attention of anyone and everyone around. One of the features of the device that makes it very much talked about is the notch on the screen. The Notch is a cutout at the top of the smartphone phone display. The notch design made its debut into the smartphone industry in 2017 and had since become a trend. The notch provides aesthetic value to your device display. This notch houses the front camera, front flash, and speaker of the device.
Now while this may come as great news to notch lovers, non-notch lovers would feel the urgent need to do away with it or to avoid the device altogether. Well, I have good news for the notch haters who might wish not to see it.
In this article, we would be taking you through a step by step method on how to hide and unhide the notch on your Camon 11 Pro device.
Step 1: Click on the settings
Step 2: Select the Display Option
Step 3: Select Display Mode of Notch Screen
Step 4: Select your preferred mode. Cutout mode (Notch to Show) or the Full screen mode (Notch to Hide).
To add it back, you follow the same procedure and select cutout mode.

Politics › FG Borrowed N6.1trn From Pension Assets – NPC by devbojj(op): 3:19pm On Jan 16, 2019 |
The Federal Government has borrowed about N6.16 trillion out of the N8.49 trillion pension assets under the Contributory Pension Scheme. These figures were released by the National Pension Commission (NPC) on Tuesday in Abuja, revealing the FG’s borrowing represents 73.5 percent of the pension fund. According to data from Pencom, Pension Fund Administrators also invested 6.87 per cent or N584.321bn of the fund in domestic ordinary shares, while 0.71 or N60.529bn of the fund was invested in foreign ordinary shares. The commission, which said that it continued its consultative philosophy in the regulation and supervision of the industry, said the risk-based examination approach was implemented as a way of promoting transparency and providing early warning signals as well as encouraging pension operators to regularly self-evaluate their positions. Speaking on how to a achieve a stable pension sector, the Acting Director-General, PenCom, Mrs Aisha Dahir-Umar, said the commission adopted zero tolerance for non-compliance and consultative supervisory philosophy in the issuance of guidelines and the review of existing ones to further promote sound corporate governance in the industry and ensure the security of the pension asset. Politics › What God Showed Me Today On My 39th Birthday By Emeka Asogwa by devbojj(op): 8:48am On Jan 05, 2019 |
Born on the 5th of January 1980, at Echara Nsukka of Enugu State, in a poor and broken home, my late Mum was the only inspiration I had as I was growing up.
I saw my Mum, my mother eagle labour and suffer to train me and my other 5 brothers and sisters. What my Mum passed through inspired me never to be lazy in life. At my primary school days, I was already using wheelbarrow at Ogige Main market Nsukka and carrying woods at timbre market Nsukka.
I carried blocks, serving Masons who were building houses for people. I also followed my childhood friends Udoka and co to farm for families, just to help my suffering Mum.
But that poverty motivated me!
At the age of 20, about 19years ago, I launched my first book THE NATURE OF LIFE at Bishop Alex's Academy where I met my academic father, Chief Alex Ezurike, popularly known as Bishop Alex. I would always say that the academic fire I caught was ignited at his lesson center located at Amaezeani hall, Nsukka.
And this fire pushed me into Public Speaking, marketing my books round schools and buses, especially Ifesinachi buses. That was how I met Emeka Mama, first son of the owner of Ifesinachi transport, now Commissioner for Environment. I would board a bus and speak from Nsukka to Opi junction. Sometimes to 9th mile and the other time the speech fire carried me to Awka, usually night buses.
That exercise on the bus did two major miracles for me. One, talking on the bus helped me develop passion and skills on Public Speaking, which I believe today pays me more than my certificate and politics combined. The 2nd powerful miracle that speaking and selling my books on the bus did for me was that I met my destiny helper, Iyk Asogwa on the bus. We bear same surname but we are not from the same Nsukka area. That man listened to me on the bus and offered me university scholarship. Bro Iyk taught me the philanthropy that Wisdom Foundation does today. I will forever be grateful to that human angel who missed his flight and took night bus, designed by heaven to meet the young Emeka Asogwa that night.
And meeting Bro Iyk pushed me to keep empowering the youth through public speaking. Skill development was eventually added and I began to meet most of my mentors today.
It was this passion for youth development that later connected me to Sam Onyishi, MD of Peacemass Transit, David Ogbueli of Dominion City, Pastor Jonathan Ugbaha of Winners Chapel Nsukka, Apostle Suleman and later with my political father, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State. And many others.
Today, on my birthday, God showed me how my effort serving in Enugu State will be rewarded. I never liked politics. I used to say No To Politics but seeing a good man as Governor was what God used to bring me into government as Apostle Suleman prophesied to me before I was appointed. I also saw international flight in my dream this morning. I also saw myself receiving award in my dream this morning in the presence of Governor Wike of Rivers and my own working governor. Governor Wike was so impressed about my award that he demanded that I follow him and his wife in his personal car with all his security to Rivers. He also gave me powerful advice as we traveled in that dream. (I know the meaning of the dream I saw. It was very clear. My mandate is for both Enugu and beyond. God usually speaks to me and that has always guided me)
Before I slept last night, I prayed into 12am today as my birthday but asked God to show me my next phase of assignment in this age of my life and career. But God showed me where I was still supporting Gburugburu. The reelection of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is the major political assignment I have at this moment. Gburuism is already a mandate till 2023. Say a big Amen!
Thank you Jesus for adding a new year to my life. I will keep empowering the youth and supporting Gburugburu.
