Dear fellows in the house I'm building a water tank for my farm and I need high gravity for reticulation. Can anyone help with advise if 16000 litres of water carried in round GP tanks can be sustained by a tank stand constructed with 6"X4",H channel irons braced with 2"x2" angle bars up to 50fts, that is 15meters high? Thanks for your contribution please |

Under Buhari's Nigeria, democracy is dead. National Assembly is not safe, courts are not safe. Who cannot see where we are going? Wrong people gang hostage Nigerians in the name of politics |
GavelSlam:You know what they wanted to do but you don't have any self realization. If not for social media would you have the means to talk rubbish when people die daily? Can you post your tax certificate on this platform? Certainly, you are here because you are 18 years and above. When people who have a stake in Nigeria are talking, People like you should contribute with decorium |

Johnrake69:Your contribution is very informative. What is the place of consumer protection agency on this? It means goverment need to regulate the cement market. If Cement price is reduced, more individuals would own houses and the current national housing deficit will be partly addressed. Sustained high prices of Cement where there's possibility that it could have been sold cheaper means goverment is not committed to resolving the housing deficit Nigeria is facing |
Dear Naira Landers. I'm curious about a post I saw on Facebook about cheaper Dangote cement in Ghana and elsewhere when raw materials are sourced mostly from the same place. The post claims the NGN2600 per bag of cement in Nigeria is as a result of it's dubious economy Kindly post in this thread any country other than Nigeria where Dangote Cement is distributed and the price in Naira equivalent. Thanks |

seunmsg:It's a polite disapproval. How will you wait until someone tells you to do more about the human capital of your own people? Let's leave politics and tell the truth I beg you all. It's not about Buhari, it's about the development orientation of the goverment |

The insurgency in the North East has festered for many years now. Many like me are confident in the ability of the Nigeria Military to exterminate it but are pondering on why the crisis is continuing and daily taking new dimensions. That Boko Haram has capabilities to cause the Federal Government of Nigeria to negotiate with it is a twist that goes to say how the entire citizenry may have become psychologically defeated. This perhaps explain the reason why we see helpless citizens waiving at a motorcade of the insurgents as they drive in and out of Dapchi town unchallenged. Was it possible for the Federal Government to negotiate with them while keeping to itself a surprise defeating strategy that could have led to arrest of some insurgents? No, because, aware of it's helessnes, the goverment had got to keep the terms and not to risk another kidnap or even a more devastating attack. It is reported that the insurgents came abducting the Dapchi girls unchallenged and they came delivering them unchallenged, so the only protection the citizens have is the good will of Boko Haram. Worse is to learn that they did not hurry to leave the town but stayed back to preach to the crowd for over 20 minutes before leaving. Could an ambush have worked? That they went so free shows clearly that Bolo Haram could even have dictated the terms. Few days ago, I was traveling with my team along the stretch from Gusau to Talata Mafara in Zamfara State, we encountered an old military van mounted with a machine gun with some armed persons dressed in military uniforms.. Unconsciously, I found myself speaking out, wondering how we will know if the people in the van are not Boko Haram. The Driverwho is a native from Zamfara State spontaneously responded, "but we, we know they are soldiers, they are not Boko Haram" I turned to him in surprise and asked, how do you know? Sounding so confident, he told me, "Boko Haram will not use this kind of old motor, their own motor will be new and sharp sharp". When I heard this, I fell back to the seat in disbelief of how laughable goverment response to Boko Haram can be characterized. If this characterization can be generalised, can we say the goverment is ready to end the insurgency when the military cannot be properly tooled? If the issue of equipping the military is not addressed, no one should wonder why the only weapon in the fight against Boko Haram is negotiation and settlement. |

Africlegend:Once upon s time, there was a King, he had a male servant who, in all circumstances always said to him; My king, do not be discouraged because everything God does is perfect, no mistakes. One day, they went hunting and a wild animal attacked the king, the servant managed to kill the animal but couldn't prevent his majesty from losing a finger. Furious and without showing gratitude, the King said to this his servant; if God was good, I would not have been attacked and lost one finger. The servant replied, 'despite all these things, I tell you my Majesty that God is good and everything He does is perfect, He is never wrong'. Outraged by the servants response, the king ordered the arrest of his servant. While being taken to prison, he turned to the king and told him again, God is Good & Perfect. Few months passed, one day, the king left alone for another hunt and was captured by savages who use human beings for sacrifice. On the altar, the savages found out that the king didn't have one finger in place, he was released because he was considered not "complete" to be offered to the gods. On his return to the palace, he ordered everyone together to share his story including those in prison. When he finished telling his story, this his prisoner servant still told him, my king, God is perfect, he knows everything, everything he does is good. Then the king came to his senses and said; My friend, God was really good to me. I was almost killed but for lack of a single finger, I was let go. But I still have a question; If God is so good, why did He allow me to put you in prison? His servant replied; My king, if I had not been put in prison, I would have gone with you, and would have been sacrificed, because I have no missing finger. Everything God does is perfect, He is never wrong. |
