PoliticsRe: Unemployed-Graduate Stabs Self To Death In Lagos by devour129: 10:39am On Apr 22, 2013
dvdon: I understand what happened, may his soul rest in peace. I have been reading ppls posts here n no 1 has said my mind on dis case.
One thing is certain, as one of his neigbour said, he complained of unemployment..No he just finished service on february just two month b4 his death, so I disagree partially on unemployment but rather it gets us to some clues why he took his life.
Depression,..Yes but what state I ask? My wide guess goes to one thing...his Degree status. Considering the school n frustration he must ve passed through I guess the deceased was a smart guy but probably lost his targeted grade of degree to get him his dream job maybe he graduated with a 2.2 or 3rd class, believe me I ve dealt n counseled such depression Amongst my peers,...all he needed was to confide in a friend or a relative but I guess no one really gave dat attention to him y he was fighting depression n sucide forces.
Pls have time for a depressed fellow, show them u are able to share their burden in secret then help them out...since they can't voice out, ask ppl that can help n relate it as a solution to them.
Finally Nigerians should cultivate d habit of visiting a psychologist or a psychiotric doctor when depressed because depression is a form of mental illness.
then we are all mental cos I doubt he there's any human being that has never been depressed once in a while.its normal for everyone to worry about things they can't change put its the strength to move on some people lack.that strength can come from the person or people around the person. I guess am mental right now cos av got serious issues bothering me but I don't have the time to sulk about it. It's only if you have never made a life that you can take it.

eagle,eye:
Like someone already said, there are exceptions to the rule. "Love" is not the norm in Nigerian relationships, it's an exception.

"I love you" from a girl could mean different things.
why do you people always feel Nigerian girls are different all everything is centered around money for us ? Please we love like any other woman around the world,we compromise,we step down so our partners can step up etc. I think you should change your crowd and your mentality and believe you will find your gem cos there are a lot of them under your nose but guys prefer in your face 40inches hair wearing and make up like juju girls.

@op, ...The mind is a very powerful tool. You control it ,not the other way around.
If you believe in the sacrifice , you have nothing to worry about. Just believe it will work for you.

I've heard a lot of tales about this myth, but i PERSONALLY believe it was founded just to keep the mother alert at all times when backing her baby.
It is well.
then people go marry scatter . What of nowadays we carry in front ? Does it apply to those who fell from there mothers front or hands ? We will all be dead abi ?

Kamsy10: In a country they said feed on less than $2 a day.
Now, if God's work makes it necessary to have jets when you have many branches, then how come state pastors and national pastors too who are helping them oversee hundreds and thousands of branches don't need jets. As a matter of fact, those
equally travel a lot. So if jet has become a necessity for God's work, then why would only the oga at the top own 3 or 4 while his national and state pastors have none.

Anyway in life you can always find reasons to justify any of your actions. It makes life very interesting
you are so rite my friend. Thinking about this now this guy has never come out the say anything about corruption in the government but is fast to reply critics over a private jet issue ? Selfish man

I will do the same,I mean collect the instrument and play it myself if someone is trying to distract the rest of the band.its called being a perfectionist

I know this doesn't apply to me but couldn't resist.grew up watching my dad come home straight from work, showers, eats with my mum ,sleep off on the settee while gisting . So it was a shock when I got married and my hubby did just the opp.when I was still a learner,I will stay up till he comes back before I eat.am a really great home maker so my house is always clean and smells like a bakery ,I also keep myself well so that was not a problem.abuja men claim it's only at night they do deals grin.back to my gist,I will stay up till he comes back at the beginning ,cry myself to sleep sometimes until I started having babies and I became a teacher wink.if its 7pm and my hubby is not back home,I will never call,I eat by 6 and if he calls and says the person he went to see has still not come and he is not sure if to stay or come back,I quickly encourage him to wait.i did for a while before he caught up,now he walks in before 8pm,so he can play with the kids before they go bed and he stays out only if it is absolutely necessary .even the day bomb went off in Abuja he was so angry that among his friends am the only one that ddnt call her hubby when I was in dreamland hanging out with obama cheesy o ladies don't fret if your hubby doesn't come home on time, carry on with your life everything will work out.as for the men, continue to come home late in this perilous times !

redsun: Delta police command are involved in kidnapping. That is why all the high profile kidnapping are coordinated there.

The police commissioner is a ruthless criminal.I am very much aware of that
you might be onto something ! Cos how come every kidnapping cases end up in delta state ? How come they haven't found there den ? They only claim they found a victim only after the family has paid the ransom. My bro was kidnapped last year and he ended up in delta,he managed to escape ( don't ask me why cos he ddnt know his self,I guess His God was alive cos they have tortured him so much that he is still in the hospital since last year) he found himself outside the forest and crawled for 8hrs until he saw a hunter that carried him to the station.my dad was at the station that same day but they claimed they are still on the case,my dad was so angry at the police and went straight to pay the ransome using my uncle and another bro is a drop off.that same night, the DPO called my dad that he has been found.this happened on Thursday .my family picked him up on Friday early morning cos they called very late and they stay very far.when my brother started talking after few days at the hospital.he told my family what happened and that the last thing he remembered was the asking the hunter the day and where he was and was told it was Thursday, shocked

RomanceRe: Why Women Dislike Nice Guys by devour129: 10:32pm On Apr 08, 2013
MRbrownJAY: @OP
what a pile of nonsense!!!!!

- most nice guys are hideously insecure..... BULLSHIIT
just because you have to force yourself to be nice, does not mean that people who are naturally nice are faking it like you do. here is a clue: treat others as you want to be treated, live right and get tenfold in return!

- most nice guys exude insecurity.......BULLSHIIT
the fact that you automatically believe that being nice means being a fool is one of the reason why you have no idea what you are talking about. being nice means just that, and when there is no reason to be nice anymore then these guys become NOT nice any longer. pls stop associating being nice with being a MUGU....thats two different subjects.

- so many Nice Guys complain about women being horrible...........BULLSHIIT
if a woman is horrible then ALL guys would complain about her being horrible, not only the nice ones, duh!

- Nice Guys go overboard........BULLSHIIT
just because YOU dont do certain things, or dont live by these criterias, shouldnt be a reason to dismiss those who do. women like to be offered flowers FACT! men try to buy women's affection by any mean necessary, FACT! all men have different view of romance and there is no "one set fits all" when it comes to romance, FACT! thinking that nice guys ALWAYS fail in love is your ultimate fail of the day, FACT! being nice doesnt mean being stoopid, the day you realize that is the day you will have a fair chance on understanding the issue, FACT!

a man that worships or puts a woman on a pedestal is a fool, a man that respects a woman and cares for her needs to the best of his capable abilities is a nice guy. just because YOU cannot care for a woman (because of you egotistical BS) does not make your actions better than the nice guy's.
treat people the way YOU want to be treated, and basta!

as for your idea that nice guys are men that "cling to women, and want to be one with them for fear that if she is out of sight, she may disappear or become attracted to someone else" i can only laugh in Swahili and ask myself where do you come up with so much nonsense?!

- A Nice Guy often has trouble with emotional intimacy.........BULLSHIIT, the fact that YOUR insecure self believes that a nice guy is automatically faking (thus afraid that his true self will get busted) is another reason why you are failing in this subject. try to use your brain, remove your low self esteem ego out of the equation, and realize that many men are nice to women simply because that in their NATURE, and they are not faking as you may think.

- Nice Guys are always asking HER to make the decisions........BULLSHIIT
wherever you get your manual on "nice guys" i suggest you go and get a refund. your idea of nice guys is so wrong that only a biatch slap at a 90degrees angle may help you wake up from your nonsense (with all due respect)
some people are not strong or forward like that, and require that others make decision for them...... and there is NOTHING wrong with that.

- Nice Guys rarely speak up when something bothers them,........ BULLSHIIT
some guy are indeed shy, and again there is nothing wrong with that......

- Nice Guys think that they will never meet anyone as special as she is.........BULLSHIIT
there is nothing wrong in showing a woman that you care for her, and if she is special then by all means men need to show that too. men like you have so much crap embedded in their DNA that they have lost the plot on how to treat women properly. if you meet a special woman then SHOW HER THAT SHE IS, end of story!
men should love (the right) women the best they can, as hard as they can, with no boundaries.

- The nice guy -needs- to believe that he is the best person for the object of his desires..... ON THE CONTRARY all men should believe in themselves and believe that they are the best person for any woman. the ones who think that they are not good enough are simply insecure low self esteem being. who cares who could be a good match for a lady IF YOU ARE THE ONE DATING HER?! if these other people were "good match" then THEY would be dating her at that moment, not YOU, duh! only an insecure low self esteem person think the way you do.

- More than loving the woman in his life, a Nice Guy NEEDS her.........BULLSHIIT we ALL need women, and any fool who believes that he doesnt is either extremely gayy or deluded! at the end of the day, no man can be truly happy unless he has a good loving woman by his side to share his happiness!

- Nice Guys go after “hard luck” cases..........BULLSHIIT
most women dont show their true on the first date, and some can hide their true self until you say I DO..... only men with misplaced ego would think that they can ALWAYS tell who a woman truly is. some men are novices and shouldnt be blame for their inexperience (aka being a novice)! some men give EVERY women a chance and shouldnt be blame for being open minded like that! some men want "different" women, and that should only be THEIR choices to make, and certainly shouldnt be blamed for that. just because YOU dont like such woman is all on you, but dont automatically blame men who do.

- Nice Guys don’t like themselves.....THE ICING ON THE CAKE OF ALL BULLSHIIT
so if i understand the OP correctly, a man who is nice to others doesnt love himself, bwaaaaah! men like the OP has issues with women, and thus wants all men to think as low as he does of women. there is nothing wrong with being nice to someone, there isnothing wrong with caring for someone, OP should try it someday, it may do him a lot of good. Av got butterflies in my stomach after reading this,mr brown I hope we meet in another lifetime
